  3. If Shefty hadn't specified it was a draft pick I would have been worried it was Benjamin after the stink eye McDermott gave him today... ? Don't !@#$ with Coach McD....
  4. You have been lobbying for this one for a while. Good call, Kirby! They are likely activating Gordon tomorrow and needed the roster spot.
  5. 2016 First Rounder. Baylor. Hamstring issues could be chronic, but worth it depending on the cost. This will make you feel good if you are a Pro Football Focus fan... https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/draft-corey-coleman-an-draft
  6. Roster spot for Josh Gordon needed. Interesting.
  7. #HauschMoney with no one in the House.
  8. This is officially now known as the "look" -- this is coach when he is not in a happy place.
  9. A different take from me. I want Darnold, Allen, Jackson, and Mayfield to all develop well (with Allen and the Bills being the best team). My favorite time was the Kelly, Marino, Elway years....would love to see another era like that with the Bills being the best of the lot.
  10. Ummm....maybe some sort of weird compilation of the best traits of both against Cam...sure....add in Allen's arm and speed and probably have a winner.
  11. Benjamin is a walking mismatch on just about any short, medium or red-zone route. He is not a game-breaker over the top. So if that's what you meant, I totally agree he lacks a significant part of the package to be a great/top-tier receiver. In Kelvin's defense, Cam's strength is not a quick passing game, hitting guys in stride or ball placement to advantage the receiver. Never has been and likely never will be. Kelvin has a legitimate point in saying there are better QBs for him to be paired with....I think another point of frustration for Benjamin is that Greg Olsen was the Cam favored guy and Olsen got more match-ups that allowed for clear separation which is what Cam wanted. All in all, I too agree, that Kelvin should have shut up, but its out there now and since the Bills play the Panthers on Thursday night -- it might be fun. Not sure I have ever seen bulletin board material for a preseason game...
  12. Thursday night's pre-season game just got a bit more interesting......
  13. I thought the World Cup ended last month....jeez...
  14. This is much better than the yes, yes, yes -- Oh No, oh !@#$ no...we are used to..
  15. Every Day--right next to Daboll. I don't even think the umbilical cord is cut yet. Whether its hospital visits, habitat builds, food bank food sorts, the Bills really seem to be focused on community outreach. Every NFL team does this stuff--but the Bills seem to do more than just give $'s -- they engage with the community.
  16. So you posted to bump and bring more attention to thread? Pretty smart way to express your disdain. Cool logic.
  17. I was guessing a telemedicine training session on dealing with epilepsy
  18. I want to reiterate for the upteenth time how cool it is to see Jack and Barbara Nicklaus decked out in Bills gear to cheer on grandson Nick.
  19. 5 months ago he had just become a free agent and was signing with the Bills.....just saying......
  20. He earned his degree in Economics from Vanderbilt. I think he is probably set up well for life post-football. I enjoyed him as a Bill last year even with the two significant injuries. He definitely fit the McBeane culture but couldn't stay healthy. I think the Bills saw a player with a broken body.
  21. Come on--Tyrod did this...It was usually an incomplete 3rd down pass and then the Offense got a break...
  22. Back shoulders show both timing and accuracy. Allen's trouble seems to be with touch on short throws...that is a teachable skill. Back shoulders are tough to teach. The other highlights I have seen is that he knows how to throw a high-point fade. That is key with a guy like Benjamin. McCarron threw a nice one yesterday as well for Benjamin over Tre' De.
  23. No reports of hitting a tent with an errant throw....that's a net positive to me.
  24. Think about the difficult decisions Beane and McDermott made to get us in position to draft a potential franchise QB. They traded Watkins, Darby, Ragland and eventually Dareus and got a partial year's contribution from EJ Gaines in return for all that. By the way, they still made the playoffs. They did this with a QB that the coach chose to bench and was likely convinced from about game 3 of the '17 season had no future in Buffalo. They traded Tyrod, Glenn to stockpile enough to get into the top 10. There is no question that Josh Allen has the most arm talent, mobility, athleticism of the three on the team right now. These are factors in this decision, but not the only factors. This Coach and this GM are not willing to throw away seasons. They will play the QB who provides the best chance to win with the team we have this year. The media will be clamoring for Allen and so will we...but I trust Beane and McDermott to play the QB who gives us the best chance to have the best 2018 possible. In most cases starting a Rookie does not ruin a QB as the list shows. Starting a QB who gives the team less of a chance to win than alternatives on the bench -- ruins and divides teams. McBeane won't let this happen. Guys like Lorax, Kyle, Shady, Hyde, TreDe, Dawkins, Benjamin, Clay won't stand for anything but a commitment to winning this year.
  25. I have it on good authority he is leading the new willie-hat/jimmy-hat division.
