Pro Football Weekly: Trent praises Schouman
JoeF replied to JoeF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
True Dat Ms. Lori. But if Trent can develop the same type of faith he has in Josh Reed with one of the TE's -- I think it could be a very good thing. The middle of the field is going to be a good place to roam this year for the receivers with Lee and TO grabbing lots of attention on the outsides. Its all a pipe dream however if we are forced to keep the TE into pass block. In that case we might as well use Kirk Chambers as the TE..... -
Found this insight interesting.....Nelson has a lot of developing to do with route running...Schouman may be the QB's choice. A reminder on Schouman's measurables out of College 6'2" 250lbs 4.69 40 time.... http://www.profootballweekly.com/PFW/NFL/A.../wwhi060609.htm Edwards forming tight bond with lightly regarded veteran By Matt Sohn June 6, 2009 Regardless of how talented a receiver might be and regardless of how badly a coaching staff wants a certain pass catcher to step up, it doesn’t mean much if the quarterback trusts a different player more. It’s becoming increasingly clear in Buffalo that QB Trent Edwards has a greater rapport with unheralded third-year veteran Derek Schouman than with athletically gifted rookie Shawn Nelson, the player most believed would assume No. 1 TE duties in short order. “I think (Schouman) has progressed really well through these last couple practices, and I think he’s going to be a big part of our pass game,” Edwards said. “Derek (Fine) and John (Stupar) and those guys are going to need to step up, as well as Shawn. But I really am feeling more and more comfortable with Schouman.” The Bills have staged an open competition at tight end since releasing the disappointing Robert Royal following the 2008 season.

Great story for anyone trying to lose weight

Before: Breakfast 6 Servings of Fruity Pebbles but--2% milk :-) :-) That's the old -- double whopper with extra cheese, super large fry but a diet coke meal.. Great job to these two... -
Plus if you bought a big house like 1 Deer Run you could accommodate Cablelady (now your biggest fan) and TO as roomies....wouldn't that be fun...

Eloquently stated Mike. If this is a case of a pro-life extremist as the shooter its very sad. Extremists on both sides cloud this debate. Its so sad that, potentially, in the mind of this killer, protection of human life is somehow used as justification for taking someone's life in cold blood. Its awful....we have so many structures in the country for open debate, judicial guidance and policy making -- yet more and more folks are resorting to outlandish partisan politics, talk show screaming and worst of all violence. I must say that I appreciate the way that the Notre Dame community handled the Obama graduation speech a few weeks ago. There was rigorous opposition to the speech among many on campus. However the groups opposed to the President being invited were civil and thoughtful -- resorting at worst to a few protests and some yelling at the address. I also thought the President handled the situation with class and dignity willing to recognize opinions different from his. There was no violence -- just thoughtful dialog, objection and principled discourse. Maybe the world can take a lesson. I pray for Dr. Tiller and his family.

Parrish wants more chances to catch passes

Great point. They do need to move him more. I can't ever remember seeing 11 in motion... -
Parrish wants more chances to catch passes

Watch film....he is dangerous when he isn't bumped at the line--but he is neutralized when he is.....the book on him is fairly easy to read. Plus even after all these years in the league--his short routes--outs and slants-- where he could be very dangerous are not tight. I agree with dog--we have more receivers who require attention -- he will have the opportunity to eat a 4th corner alive--but he also needs to work on his moves to avoid contact at the line and on the sharpness of his short routes. -
