  1. You might also note that this is TBD Annual Home Opener Tailgate #17... The first game we did this for was the night game against the Titans the season after HRTF (Home Run Throw Forward)
  2. While I agree that, as with many things in life, others have built on and surpassed the originator... This is also a tradition going back 17 years now.
  3. Nick Tahou's Main St Rochester, noon. BE THERE
  4. I was at practice last night and was focused on Dez that particular play. I have no idea what Aaron was doing but the throw wasn't even near Dez and then the two of them just collided head-on at full speed. I was sitting with AussieW and we had been watching Aaron before the play. We both noticed he had seemed a little off, in the little action he got before that and then his interactions with others when not playing. Just before the play he got injured on, he and Tyrod had a little meeting about 20 yards behind everyone else - just the 2 of them. I may have to stop going to practices. The one I went to last year was the one McCoy got hurt in.
  5. Anybody remember Michele Jenneke? She of the bouncy track & field dance? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdexkdpkIgk She's headed for Rio and still looks amazing... https://www.instagram.com/p/BIxteqmDbMi/
  6. Bump. My event is next Sunday. I'm currently $60 from my goal, and in 11th place for fundraising in Rochester. For those who have already donated - my sincere gratitude. To those who have yet to give I ask one last time for any donation you can make. I'd love to hit that goal and crack the top 10! Here's my page: https://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/823612/2016
  7. Just bought tix for Seattle.
  8. And this is why Hammer's is the best private lot there is. I absolutely love the Paypal idea. Prepay with credit card - how perfect is that?
  9. Quick update for everyone - due to an unfortunate family medical situation for the event organizer, the date of the event has been moved from this weekend to June 12th. Just gives me more time to bug you guys for sponsorships!
  10. Slower than last year - currently at $260. My event is April 17th. I hope y'all haven't forgotten about Pediatric Cancer Research! Go to my page (linked in the OP) and click that Donate button please!
  11. "Per team policy, contract details will not be made public" meaning they'll be leaked very soon...

  15. Last Year I raised nearly $1500 – an amazing sum for which I am so grateful to my friends, family, and co-workers. I have decided to participate again this year even though my inspiration, Sweet Sally Sunshine, completed treatment last August. Her battle is not over, however. She now has to deal with the side-effects of the treatment, most of which is geared towards adults, which took a terrible toll on her body. Being fed through a tube most of her life, she really has no concept of the relationship between food and hunger… and her chewing muscles are barely functional. As a 3-year old, she’s just now barely able to run. You can read all about these and other challenges for her and her family on her parent’s latest blog entry: http://www.sweetsallysunshine.com/2016/01/post-treatment-challenges/ Obviously more research is needed to develop treatments geared to pediatric cancer. And so I ask once again for any donation you might be able to make. My page is here: https://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/823612/2016 Here's how it looked last year: My event will be at Mickey Finn's in Victor, NY on April 17th. Thanks in advance for any help you can give! J
  16. Yeah... no. I shook his hand when he came by the Pinto. Definitely looks like he can still play.
