I asked my kids what they would prefer, as it is more for them than it is for me.

Coaches believe they can fix the flaws in players - if they didn't they wouldn't be coaches (let alone become head coaches). I would expect nothing less than McDermott to say he's excited to see what Tyrod does in this system. So am I. But anybody who has some knowledge about the game knows that Tyrod DOES have flaws. It's the staff's job to a) work with him on improving those things and 2) minimizing them with game plans and complementary personnel.

Bump! I'm halfway to my goal of $660. If I make That goal I will have raised $3000 for pediatric cancer research in the 3 years I've done this. And that would be pretty cool. My event is on 5/7 - 2 weeks from Sunday. Again any and all donations would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

When we left Buffalo in 1976 and moved to Halifax Nova Scotia, I was amazed to find that at night I could pick up WKBW AM radio (1520) from Buffalo up in Halifax. They played a slightly higher caliber top 40 than the Canadian stations did, but certainly nothing like Q FM 97.

After a bit of hemming-and-hawing, I did decide to sign up to once again be a shavee at this year’s St. Baldrick’s event. It’s about raising funds for childhood cancer research; for finding/creating more child-centered treatments that don’t take such a devastating toll on their tiny bodies as the adult treatments they are forced to use now do. And it’s about supporting the kids who are currently at any stage of having to deal with cancer. I do this in honor of my friend Matt’s daughter Sweet Sally Sunshine, who now battles seizures brought on by the harsh chemo that for now has removed the Infant ALL Leukemia from her body but has also damaged her white brain matter. And it’s just one of the challenges she and her amazing family endure every day. FWIW - my sister was diagnosed with PTSD after a string of personal losses/challenges, and she says that the one thing that has helped her the most is meditation (not medication).
