I think it should come out later today around 5ish

I can guarantee that you never played D1, semi pro or anything, if you're accusing pro football players out of the blue for faking injuries. Correct me if I'm wrong.. You have absolutely no idea what their bodies go through in an nfl season cause you've never experienced it yourself. Some players say their bodies don't feel right until 5 days after a game, and most guys play with injuries we don't even know about. So to call a professional football player soft, or that they are faking injuries when there is 0 credible source or reason to make that accusation, is just ridiculous. You're a really good poster here as well, so it's definitely surprising to hear that coming from you.

Diggs coming back to Highmark Sunday Night
BillsFan130 replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall
Betting on Diggs to get a touchdown against the Bills, come on man! Haha -
I could care less about Lamar Jackson. I just find it absolutely hilarious when keyboard warriors who have never even sniffed playing professional football, call football players "soft" based on no logical reason or evidence. Just not a good look bud.
-
You're making an another outrageous claim. "Jackson wasn't hurt either". Lol based on what? Show me any credible source that he was faking an injury.. So I need proof to show that nfl players are not soft? Playing in one of the most violent games in the world for over 2 decades of their lives isn't proof of that? This is bizarre . Lets start calling nhl and rugby players soft now while we are at it
-
Ok- But you're calling him out for being soft when you got no proof. He's got a hamstring injury that keeps nfl players out every single week. I'm just confused to why you're specifically picking on Lamar in this case. But anyways all good. Enjoy the weekend and go Bills.
-
How do you know Lamar Jackson has never played through pain?🤦♂️ December 2019- Limited in practice all week with a quad and played on a short week October 2020- Missed back to back practices with a knee and illness and played Nov 2021- Missed multiple practices with flu but played Late October/November 2024- Missed practices early in the week and played in all games. I really don't know why your agenda is that "Lamar is soft" and that he quit on the team last week, when he clearly has a pulled hamstring that keeps most NfL players out 2-4 weeks
-
Just out of curiosity- Do you call every athlete who doesn't play because of a pulled hamstring, soft, or just Lamar Jackson? genuinely curious. Like is George Kittle soft to you because he's on IR with a hamstring injury?

Better than Babich that's for sure

I know it's not, I didn't word my statement well

Hot meaning everyone seems to be using it the last few years or so. I remember listening to Joe Marino last year after that dolphin game and he was going off saying the EPA was good But let's put it this way- If we are using PFF analytics to determine whether a defence is good or bad, that's not exactly the most credible source lol
-
I get EPA is the new hot metric, I personally think it's dumb for the most part though. I remember that dolphins game last year Where the bills could not stop Miamis run game and basically offence overall- And They got graded a high EPA in that game.. Which makes no sense to me as anyone who watched that game knew they couldn't stop a nose bleed
-
Yep exactly. If bills makes a stop on that opening possession on 3rd and long, it could have been 14-0 bills in a blink of an eye and the whole game script changes for the Saints

When you force a turnover you get off the field. But how can you possibly say that's more of an important stat than looking at being 25th on first downs allowed, and 29th on 3rd downs when it comes to getting off the field? Lol. They were a big play defence which is important. But that Doesn't mean they consistently stopped anyone...25th in first downs allowed and 29th on 3rd downs literally shows they were one of the worst teams in the nfl in stopping teams
-
29th in 3rd downs and 25th in 1st downs allowed. Those are the main two stats when it comes to measuring them getting off the field. It was bad. Turnovers are a different conversation. They are splash /big plays, and yes they were great at it.

Mac Jones year, 2021. Did an incredible job with him and made the playoffs that year. Got a head coaching job the next season
-
Ya I think it's because he hasn't had the splash plays like Walker has. Seems like Sanders is doing "ok" IMO. He has been put in a tough spot with the Oliver injury. I think in a perfect world the Bills wanted him to be a situational pass rusher to start the season, but he's been asked to play a lot more snaps cause the injury to Ed.

You are judging Mcdaniels as a head coach, not a coordinator. To get a head coaching job, you have to be a very good to an elite coordinator. And he has had multiple head coaching jobs- In 2009 and 2022- Which shows he has been an excellent coordinator for almost 20 years. Babich on the other hand has accomplished nothing in this league as a coordinator and the defence has gotten worse since he has taken over in 2024. These are all facts you cannot deny, whether you think it is his fault or not.
-
We can disagree all good. The bills defence under Babich doesn't really give me much confidence at all and I think that's fair to think that way. Im glad you're more confident in him than I am. Like I said I still think the Bills win. I just go back to my original point where I say McDaniel is a much better coordinator than Babich which does give me some concern in this game. I don't think many people would disagree with me there. Anyways, Go Bills.

The Bills were elite at turnovers last year which is an extrEmely metric, no Question. But to keep it simple- They were straight up just bad at getting off the field in total last year. And going back to this conversation, my biggest concern in this game is McDaniels and Maye shredding them on 3rd downs and moving the ball with relative ease
