  1. 95 guaranteed over "5 years." Probably means it's looking like a 3 year, 32.5 mil per year roughly
  2. He was a top 5 corner for sure in his prime. Probably even top 3 If you are an all pro player, you are elite at your position for that season
  3. But wouldn't that fall under "void year's " technically though?
  4. It had to be done I think, but this sucks. Love Tre
  5. Why? I wonder if this has to do more with tyler bass being comfortable with him as the holder. Cause I don't get this, unless it's just for camp reps
  6. Yep. Possibly extensions with Dawkins/Taron as well which would save another 12 mil
  7. Ahh ok thanks. I didn't know you could do that with only one year left on the deal
  8. Re structure in the last year of his deal? Would this mean void years added on potentially?
  9. Can cut Harty as well and save around 4.5-5. (Not sure of the exact number)
  10. Hes good, but not a great QB. He needs a lot of talent around him for him to be successful. Problem for him/miami is when he signs this big contract, he's simply not going to have the talent around him as he has the last couple seasons
  11. Technically yes, but a 10 mil hard cap hit isn't ideal at all. It's in both parties best interest to come to an extension. 1. Douglas gets security 2. Bills clear much needed cap space But if Douglas is being unreasonable, it puts Beane in a tough spot for this years cap and future years
  12. No I know, I was just responding to the comment where it said it would be ridiculous to get rid of Douglas. The more I think about it, the more I think it's possible- especially if Douglas is asking for a massive extension and the bills can save 10 mil with 0 dead cap
  13. True. But what happens if he is asking for a ridiculous contract? If the Bills keep him, they almost have to lower his cap number by extending him. And if he's asking for a ridiculous contract, I don't think it would be wise to give that to a guy nearing 30 in a position where you need to be quick.
  14. Ya I agree. I was more just speculating because if they release Douglas, I would guess Tre would be back in some capacity.
  15. I would bet yes as he tore it October 1st and Achilles injuries these days typically seem to be 6- 9 month range. But regardless that would be a big gamble as who knows how effective he would even be
  16. The Douglas situation is fascinating to me. I wonder what the plan would be then: CB1: Benford CB2: Tre? CB3: Elam And then maybe draft a depth CB/ core 4 special teamer to fill the siran Neal role in the mid rounds? (If they were to cut Neal and save some cap that is)
  17. Yep. Our cap situation sucks but at least we have our QB paid. They still have Tua on a rookie deal lol. And def don't feel bad for them as well, especially when they were laughing when Milano went down
  18. It will be rough but they can backload a lot of their contracts and re structure their big ones. Bengals window will be at least 2-3 more years until they start running into cap issues
  19. Is it McDermott that plays Reid well, or is is it Josh Allen who is the only qb in the game who can go toe to toe with Mahomes? (regular season McDermott does good against Andy, but that doesn't matter)
  20. You mean the 80 yard TD Diggs dropped on the final drive?
  21. Love this but... How the hell is Tua considered one of the most "clutch QBs"? lol It amazes me some people treat it like it's boxing. "Josh has to beat Mahomes" "burrow already beat Mahomes". It's such a lazy argument and makes me wonder if people even watch the games
  22. Agreed about benford. Tre would scare me at safety though. Historically he is a horrible tackler. Not ideal for what you need to have in a safety haha
