  1. Garrett didn't do anything "nuclear" in public to request a trade lol. In fact he was pissed it even leaked out- As he wanted to handle it within the building. There's nothing wrong with Cook wanting more money. But posting it on social media and then making passive aggressive comments on social media when Saquon got paid, just screams out immaturity and diva behaviour
  2. I think where we disagree is how/where they are handling their business. Cook , now multiple times has posted direct, and passive aggressive comments , (or emojis) that he wants more money on social media. If Garrett put on social media that he wants out or gave passive aggressive comments, (like Diggs for example) then I would agree with you. But he didn't . He asked for a trade behind closed curtains and wrote a very classy letter after the fact . I can't say I see any similarities at all between how cook and Garrett handled their business, respectfully. I also think Garrett has earned the right to ask for a trade as he's a 8 year vet. Cook is still in his rookie contract
  3. Ok fair. So you're agreeing that he's being a diva then? It's an immature way of dealing with it. That's all I'm saying . Would you not agree with that?
  4. The point is the vast majority of players don't go to social media asking for more money. As you stated that "it's the way it is in pro sports"- Implying that it's a common thing. It's really not common and I would say 99 percent (or more), don't go to social media asking for more money
  5. Did Bernard , Shakir and Rousseau go to social media asking for money? Or did they handle it like professionals?
  6. No- But I don't think the boss would be particularly pleased if their workers complained on social media that they want more money. I get it's not the end of the world and maybe I'm old school. (Even though I'm only 34 years old). But I think going to social media with contract stuff is just immature and isn't the right way to approach it
  7. Ya it sounds like it's basically a 2 year 25 million dollar deal . And then play it by ear after that
  8. Ya I agree with you. Spotrac had him like 23-25 range so I think a lot of people are basing this deal relative to that. Overall he's a good player. But for 20 mil, I want a guy who can take over in the 4th quarter in some games. (Especially big games) Rousseau hasn't done that so far in his career
  9. I think I might remember the Denver one. The ravens one- I can't even recall lol. Overall- Good player. Just wish he had more big moments . (Even Jordan Phillips has had more big moments then him IMO)
  10. Rousseau overall is a good player- But a big concern from him is- where is he during the big playoff games? In 4 years, I honestly cant remember him making a big play or sack in a playoff game. It says he has 3 sacks in 9 career playoff games. And 2 of them came these last playoffs. But I can't even recall those
  11. I'm not exactly sure what the contract structure is now besides the guaranteed money, so I will take your word for that. But Void years still count against the credit card in the long term- As you got the pay the bill eventually
  12. This year it creates 10 mil space. But his contract will kick in for 2026 and that's where it will get a bit expensive
  13. The good news is his contract shouldn't overlap with Milano. Im guessing 2025 will be Milanos last year- So 2026 Bernards extension will kick in and most likely his running mate will be Dorian Williams who will still Be on a cheap rookie contract
  14. Ya that could be an option. Extend Greg to get the cap space down a bit this year, and can maybe front load a bit of the Hendrickson contract for 2025. Or maybe not a popular decision, but could also trade Rousseau for assets, and you clear the cap space
  15. He's still in his rookie contract. Bills exercised his 5th year option, so currently I believe he's scheduled to make about 13-14 mil this year
  16. I agree with you on the Rousseau number. Cook is where i differ from you a bit. I'm not a big fan of paying RBs. But I get what you're saying, he's definitely a weapon
  17. Ya exactly. I would rather Hendrickson needless to say
  18. Will be an interesting one for sure. The one I'm fascinated about is Rousseau. Kind of reminds me a bit of the Edmunds/Ed Oliver situation. Cause if we extend him, we save a good chunk on cap space this year. But do we want to give him 20-25 mil a year
  19. Yes sir! About 8.5 mil they will save💪
  20. For this year it would be better for a post June 1st release- But it would actually carry a lot of dead cap for 2026. I personally just hope the bills cut him pre June 1st, get your 8.5 mil in savings, and then you got him off the books in 2026
  21. Will be tougher for sure. Bills would have to give up a lot more to get him opposed to an NFC team
  22. Ya he has been pretty damn good. Only one that was overpaid was Knox. But Josh, Tre white at the time (Bad luck with the injuries), Dawkins, Spencer Brown, Taron- The list goes on. Oliver is TBD as he has had one really good year since signing the extension (2023), and one off year. (Last season)
  23. Would be similar to the Diggs situation. They would break even on the cap give or take this year, but they would save like 53 mil or something like that next year on the cap. Thats got to be tempting to do for an aging, diva receiver
  24. Ya you're probably right. Cause if they do trade him, got to imagine it will be before the draft
