At our pick it was Hock, Oliver or bust for me. Really happy with how it fell so far. As others have said, I think Knox and Sweeney will be serviceable if not game wreckers. Obviously too early to call anything, but certainly happy we didn't trade down and draft Fant, who I was never high on. He looked bad in preseason and he looked bad last night.

The Texans' window will close very quick because of all of his GM moves. Watson is gonna get a pay day soon and they won't have cap space or picks to build out the roster.

John Ross has always been good. He is just very injury prone. Being healthy with AJ out opened up an opportunity for him to shine and he did it.

Snap counts for Zay, Foster and McKenzie were low (especially Foster and McKenzie). Just not a part of the game plan, which will change week to week. Brown and Beasley were brought in to be immediate contributors and they did just that. Zay had one deep ball go too far I remember, but he caught the balls that hit him in the hands. Daboll's plan started decent, got really iffy in the middle and finished strong. calling the QB sneak on 3rd and short around midfield that one time was kinda rough. We talk about the Jets front 7 being their strength, don't load the box and try to sneak it. Spread out and do it. Lots of OCs make that mistake, but of course if the OL gets the push and he gets the first we don't talk about it.

I think our defense is better than the Steelers at least. But I'm worrying about the next two weeks before this one.

Bills wanted to attack the Jets' weakness outside. Think they went more run heavy after Mosley left but it is clear that Singletary should get more work early in the future.
