  1. I have a mutual friend with a current player. I had heard the story about the 9/11 metaphor before. I didn't totally believe it before, thinking maybe I was missing some context or it was being exaggerated, but I guess I do now. Holy cow.
  2. He should tell that to the sixty thousand people in the stadium booing him when he trots out the kicker on a 4th and short.
  3. My plans changed last minute and I'm going to be in Charleston, SC for the game. Anybody know of a good backer bar down there? I'm getting mixed answers elsewhere online.
  4. I thought it was the other way around. The defense had zero intent to settle.
  5. Buddy, have I got some good news for you.
  6. And in exchange, we'll probably send them more weapons to blow up Yemeni children. But hey, at least they aren't European kids. Right, CNN?
  7. Greatest game I've ever been to. I started tailgating at about 12, felt pretty good all day. I think the biggest reaction to a play was the Levi Wallace interception coming out of halftime. The crowd came entirely unglued. I think thats when everybody realized there was no hoodie black magic happening. There were some empty seats in the upper deck, but I think a lot of them were people who bought the cheapest seats available and moved into the lower bowl bleacher sections where they had friends sitting. There were a lot of people in my section that I didn't recognize smashed into the seats of season ticket holders who were also there. Not that big of a deal. It's not like anybody sat down all night anyway.
  8. At least Bobby Hart isn't out there yet, so we got that goin for us, which is nice.
  9. The more the season rolls on, the more upset I get about the Jacksonville game. Ugh.
  10. The defense is playing well in spite of the offense allowing teams to stay in games. Can you imagine what the D would look like if the O would jump out to a lead and force opposing teams to become one dimensional?
