Josh Allen is nothing like EJ Manuel. Allen’s competitiveness, confidence, history of carrying a team and his throwing ability is miles above what EJ ever had. Josh Allen doesn’t step forward on every throw and he’s like the obnoxious 11 year old who throws fastballs at you when you’re 5 feet away. That’s the deal-can he fix that?

On paper and in general, yes. Absolutely. But there are cases in the league where the franchise has great looking uniforms from the past. The fans want it. The league wants it. There are not many of these cases, though. The chargers have it. The rams have it. The bills have it. These teams know how to do it and they should. This. I was driving on the thruway when they picked Allen. I was bent. Admittedly. But I will say the comparisons to Losman, Manuel are just lazy. And wrong. Allen is way more grounded and humble than JP ever was. No ones going to break his leg in practice. And Allen is way more aggressive then EJ ever was. He may have been all over the place with this throwing motion but he was obviously carrying Wyoming on his back. I think that says a ton and that’s being undervalued.
