  1. When will people learn to turn their phones when shooting video? Even though he started his post with "Seriously", it seems like a pretty obvious attempt at humor. Dontcha think?
  2. Woods was criminally underrated by many Bills fans. IMO he was/is a complete WR. Probably not a "true #1" guy, but so what? He virtually never drops passes, runs great routes, has decent speed, blocks---the whole package. Not a JAG player.
  3. For what little it's worth, I believe Louie has come clean and admitted what he did was wrong and unacceptable. One of the few, so far, who (once it became public) fessed up and apologized for his behavior. Doesn't excuse the behavior. But in many cases, the cover-up is what really drives the stake into the heart of these idiots.
  4. Nice. I don't have any particular trick, but I often say to myself "this is very odd, it has to be a dream"---and then I wake up. ...every night I have the strangest dream....
  5. I want whatever you ate before going to bed. Mushrooms, perhaps? Seriously though, I think the lesson learned here is never go to bed "stone cold sober". There's just no upside to that.
  6. Why don't Canadians have orgys? Too many thank you notes.
  7. Yeah, er no. That's one rabbit hole I'm not ready to climb into.
  8. Your news feed has to be pretty trippy.
  9. I should be surprised that people so stupid they would buy this crap, have enough money to buy this crap. But somehow, I'm not.
  10. No disagreement here. Better DC than HC. But I think he was a decent HC. As with Jim Schwartz, I'd rather have them as my team's DC than as HC. With Wade, I would probably prefer him as HC ad compared to many who actually get/get considered for, that job.
  11. I knew a nice slice named Maria. Where is Maria's? Angola?
  12. Wade is one of the most underrated defensive coaches of his time. Pretty damn good HC, too, IMO.
  13. So what did the Mannings do when their sons faced each other?
  14. You guys are killing me. All I've thought about all day is pizza. I was helping a client, the owner of a local cigar shop-- my last call of the day. I think I shook him up a bit when I aggressively announced, "If I don't get a good pizza SOON, I'm going to kill someone. " Everyone is safe (well, from me anyway). The best pizza in St Aug, with some bourbon on the side. They forgot the fresh basil. Still it was very hard for me to not eat the entire pie.
  15. Any Falls folks remember Trusello's Bakery pizza? Way better than DiCamillo's. So was their bread. I know they reopened a couple years ago, then closed when their bread man died (or so I heard). Is the Trusello's in Lewiston still around? Last time I was there they weren't making bread. Had to go to some guy in Wilson.
  16. I was thinking of getting a few friends together to split an order. I never thought of approaching a pizza place. Check out the VPN site plenz linked. There are many of those VPN member pizzerias in Texas (but none in Florida). Maybe one close enough for you to make a day trip. I know there are times I'd drive a couple hours for a great pizza.
  17. I'd kill for a good pizza right now.
  18. This is where I disagree. I think all beef dogs are bland, for the most part. I like Sahlen because they have some pork in them (hurray for pork!) and natural casings. Oh, and I know this is weird, but I eat my dogs naked---on a good bun. A good dog should stand on it's own without condiments. Oh, I can have a Whistle Pig, too: Bacon and Cheese sauce.
  19. 2 years ago is about the last time I was there. But I know he has been trying to sell.
  20. I think you can, though the minimum order is 10 or 20 lbs, I think. I told a pizzeria around here about it (the place had terrible pepperoni) and the owner was VERY excited. "That's what I've been trying to find", he said. So I gave him the website URL, phone number, etc. He never converted to it, though. Too expensive, he said.
  21. Interesting. Never heard of VPN. Checking it out now. The map on the site shows Florida as having some members, but when you click on it, no Florida places appear. Also, I notice some of the best pizzerias I've been to aren't members. Oh well. I'll make sure to check it out if I'm traveling. As to La Hacienda, the last time I had a pie there it was still good, but not as good as it used to be. (Do you remember when La Hacienda was way down Pine Ave, across the street from the hospital?) And you are right, compared to REAL Italian pizza, it isn't as good as the best of those. But last time I was in San Francisco, I went to one of the highest rated places for slices (I love a good slice joint). And you know what? It tasted amazingly similar to La Hacienda. Also went to a place in the Village (NYC) called Fiore's (had to, since my last name is Fiori). Very nice slice---tasted a lot like La Hacienda. It was no John's, but it was pretty tasty.
  22. I've had Vilano 180's pizza on a few occasions. It's OK. What was way better, IMO, was Benito's (same location) when Tony was manning the pizza station. He and his father, Sal, opened a pizzeria in St Aug Beach. It didn't last long. The pizza was inconsistent, and there were other issues we do not need to discuss. Tony's now making pizza at Giovanni's out near the outlet malls. There is a place that used to have terrific pizza was Antonio's out on Rte 13, in Colee Cove, right by the St John's river. Owner is from Buffalo. Makes (or at least, made) homemade sausage. But his pizza started going downhill---bad and fast. Not sure what happened. Don't even know if he is in business, anymore. The best pizza around here, IMO, is at Terra and Acqua, in the Seagrove plaza, in St Aug Beach.
