ALF replied to The Firebaugh Kid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not possible , the dead cap hit for both is way too high. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/marcell-dareus-7718/ http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cordy-glenn-9851/ -

Trump: NFL should not be getting tax breaks when players kneel during anthem "Why is the NFL getting massive tax breaks while at the same time disrespecting our Anthem, Flag and Country? Again, how can a switch to Peterman be any worse?
ALF replied to SaviorPeterman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would not put any rookie QB behind this OL and receiver corp, it would ruin him . -
Out of curiosity I googled that line The language is definitely archaic and seems a little confusing unless you know the context. “Essentially,” says writer and academic Jason Johnson, “Francis Scott Key was happy to see former slaves, who had joined the British as part of their Colonial Marines, getting slaughtered and killed as they attempted to take Baltimore.” About 6,000 African Americans fled to the British during the War of 1812, on the promise of freedom. Most of the men were recruited into the Royal Navy or into the Colonial Marines, a mostly black unit, which fought with distinction. https://www.pri.org/stories/2016-08-30/historians-disagree-whether-star-spangled-banner-racist I didn't know Flash was so religious , hope his career stays healthy .

Zay Jones off to a poor start , Matthews out is loading the box against Shady . Castillo and his complex OL scheme is not catching on yet , especially against a loaded box. Miller was good at RG last season , but not with this new system. I would not trade any of the 6 high picks . Taylor is better at scrambling and run option Just let this season play out and get better draft position. jmo
-
The even bigger problem is Juan Castillo Offensive Line / Run Game Coordinator Plus Dennison not letting Taylor do what he is best at scramble , run , not pocket and timing passes.
-
Dareus did have a sack against Bengals for the limited play time.
-
My vote was if they went back to the Kromer scheme , not Castillo

Do you believe the Bills are a playoff team in 2017?
ALF replied to RyanTalbotBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No , losing Charles Clay the receiver Taylor has the best chemistry with ended any playoff hopes imo . New OL scheme ruined the Bill's #1 rushing game -

Paging Gary Barnidge. Mr Gary Barnidge please call the Bills
ALF replied to BobbyC81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do you think this offense could make the playoffs with Barnidge ? I'm doubtful Clay was a major loss , the only receiver beside Shady who had good chemistry with Taylor . -

I'm ok with O'Leary and L. Thomas. The chance of this offense making it to the playoffs is slim -
What is better, no guns, or more guns?
ALF replied to Security's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I'm not on a quest to further erode individual liberty in favor of government benevolence. Just citing 2 articles that are of interest to me trying to understand this issue , nothing more. 2013 consisted of 11,208 homicides, 21,175 suicides Firearms were used to kill 13,286 people in the U.S. in 2015, excluding suicide Gun violence is most common in poor urban areas and frequently associated with gang violence, often involving male juveniles or young adult males. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_violence_in_the_United_States And, even though the United States' suicide rate is similar to other countries, the nation's gun-related suicide rate is eight times higher than other high-income countries, researchers said. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/how-u-s-gun-deaths-compare-to-other-countries/ Suicide by firearm should be separate from homicides by gun . If they did not have a firearm to commit suicide there are other ways of course. It looks like the problem is disarming urban poor gang related and getting them living wage jobs . -

How U.S. gun deaths compare to other countries February 3, 2016 Americans are 10 times more likely to be killed by guns than people in other developed countries, a new study finds. Compared to 22 other high-income nations, the United States' gun-related murder rate is 25 times higher. U.S. Last on that list Canada #4 Even though it has half the population of the other 22 nations combined, the United States accounted for 82 percent of all gun deaths. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/how-u-s-gun-deaths-compare-to-other-countries/ Compared to all countries U.S. ranked #11 Honduras #1 gun death per 100K population http://www.worldatlas.com/articles/countries-with-the-highest-rates-of-firearm-related-deaths.html On this last list of 20 countries with a high gun death rate , poverty would be the common denominator. -

Why dont reporters just ask, why change #1 rush offense?
ALF replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McD is betting his career on what he is doing. Rex loss that bet but walked away very rich. I want to give McD and Beane a full 5 years . I just hope they can draft a good QB and Peterman is at least a solid #2 . This team is doing much better then I expected with all the player and coaching turn over. I'm guessing McD knows what offensive scheme gave his defense the most trouble. -
2018 Mock Draft has Bills picking 24 and 32 but...
ALF replied to 1st Ammendment NoMas's topic in College Football
I just hope the Bills can draft a QB without having to trade up. If only Peterman can make amazing progress till then. -

Would putting Glenn on the trading block make sense?
ALF replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would not risk him playing this week he is well worth his salary when healthy. No way I would trade him , the dead cap for this year and next would be brutal. -
Trump with military leaders: This is calm before the storm The president's use of the ominous phrase prompted others to question what he meant by it – to which the president replied even more ominously: “You’ll find out.” Trump said he expected the Pentagon brass in the room to offer him “a broad range of military options, when needed, at a much faster pace.” Multiple reports, however, have suggested the White House next week will effectively scrap the Iran nuclear deal signed by the Obama administration in 2015, kick-starting a new standoff between Iran and the U.S. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/10/06/calm-before-storm-trump-remark-sparks-foreign-policy-speculation.html

Psychiatrists , FBI profilers and brain autopsy if enough left have their work cut out for them on this very sad case. High functioning psychopath is looking possible. -
