  1. Out of the three categories of run concepts, outside zone was without a doubt the one that gave offensive lines the most problems. As a matter of fact, teams averaged just 3.84 yards on these plays leaguewide, which is the lowest out of the three examined categories. Furthermore, running backs averaged just 1.16 yards before contact on these runs, which is significantly lower than that of inside zone runs and gap scheme runs. https://www.canalstreetchronicles.com/2017/6/29/15893258/new-orleans-saints-offensive-line-terron-armstead-max-unger-andrus-peat-ryan-ramczyk-zach-strief interesting article on Saints OL.

  4. Hustler founder Larry Flynt offers $10 million for dirt leading to Trump impeachment Hustler founder Larry Flynt is running a full-page ad in Sunday’s Washington Post offering a $10 million reward for information leading to the impeachment of President Trump, Fox Business reports. “Sure I could use that $10 million to buy luxuries or further my businesses,” Flynt writes, “but what good would that do me in a world devastated by the most powerful moron in history?” http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/10/14/hustler-founder-larry-flynt-offers-10-million-for-dirt-leading-to-trump-impeachment.html

  8. Desperate Puerto Ricans are drinking water from a hazardous-waste site Jose Luis Rodriguez waited in line Friday to fill plastic jugs in the back of his pickup truck with water for drinking, doing the dishes and bathing. But there is something about this water Rodriguez didn't know: It was being pumped to him by water authorities from a federally designated hazardous-waste site, CNN learned after reviewing Superfund documents and interviewing federal and local officials. Rodriguez, 66, is so desperate for water that this news didn't startle him. "I don't have a choice," he said. "This is the only option I have." More than three weeks after Hurricane Maria ravaged this island, more than 35% of the island's residents -- American citizens -- remain without safe drinking water. It's unclear whether there are public health risks from this particular well, however. The EPA said it plans to do testing in the area over the weekend. http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/13/us/puerto-rico-superfund-water/index.html
  9. Daikiel Shorts Relishing Role As WVU's Mr. Reliable It earned Shorts his "Mr. Reliable" moniker, and the wideout embraced the compliment, then kept battling week in and out to better himself as a player, a teammate a leader. The flashes of brilliance once displayed only fleetingly became increasingly more frequent over the last two seasons, when the senior has made a series of difficult, acrobatic catches, either over defenders, along the sidelines or in heavy traffic across the middle. Shorts has taken wicked post-reception hits as well, but rarely does the ball pop loose. "Daikiel has really developed his body and his mentality, he’s the toughest kid I’ve ever coached, and I mean it. He blocks his tail off, he’s unselfish and he cares and it means a lot. https://247sports.com/college/west-virginia/Article/Shorts-Relishing-Role-As-WVUs-Mr-Reliable-74939526 6'1 was very surprised he is not on PS
  10. If the OL , Taylor and McCoy speak up after this season if this scheme is not working for them that would at least get Castillo fired.

  12. not sure how accurate this is AP December 15, 2016, 8:38 AM The study estimates that the cost of premium subsidies under the ACA will increase by $9.8 billion next year, rising from $32.8 billion currently to $42.6 billion. The average monthly subsidy will increase by $76, or 26 percent, from $291 currently to $367 in 2017. Currently more than eight in 10 consumers buying private health insurance through HealthCare.gov and state markets receive tax credits from the government to help pay their premiums. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/obamacare-subsidies-to-jump-10-billion-in-2017/ On the news they are reporting the subsidy is $7B being cut ?

  14. Trump to halt ObamaCare subsidies, legal fight likely President Donald Trump plans to halt payments to insurers under the Affordable Care Act, the 2010 health care law also known as ObamaCare. It’s the latest effort in the president’s bid to ultimately “repeal and replace” what’s considered the signature legislation of his White House predecessor. Word of Trump’s latest plan came from two people familiar with the decision, who spoke to the Associated Press. They requested anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly. The White House said in a statement that the Department of Health and Human Services has determined there is no appropriation for cost-sharing reduction payments to insurers under the Obamacare law. Trump's decision was expected to rattle already-unsteady insurance marketplaces. The president has previously threatened to end the payments, which help reduce health insurance copays and deductibles for people with modest incomes, but remain under a legal cloud. Trump has privately told at least one lawmaker that the payments may continue if a bipartisan deal is reached on heath care, The Wall Street Journal reported. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/10/13/trump-to-halt-obamacare-subsidies-legal-fight-likely.html I do not think that would be legal, to stop payments

  17. Fearing Trump torpedo, Europe scrambles to save Iran deal BERLIN/PARIS (Reuters) - European countries are scrambling to cobble together a package of measures they hope will keep the Iran nuclear deal on track if U.S. President Donald Trump ignores their pleas and decertifies the landmark 2015 agreement this week. The package would include a strong statement backing the deal by European powers, together with efforts to lobby the U.S. Congress and put wider pressure on Iran, officials said. But without strong U.S. support for the deal, senior officials in Berlin, Paris and London say it may be only a matter of time before the pact between Tehran and six world powers unravels, with grave consequences for Middle East security, nonproliferation efforts and transatlantic ties. https://www.aol.com/article/news/2017/10/11/fearing-trump-torpedo-europe-scrambles-to-save-iran-deal/23240125/

  20. O'Leary was 5 for 54 yds against Bengals. He is Taylor's new go to guy with C. Clay out.
  21. If Shady can't run in this offense hard to believe someone else could . If the defense puts 8 or 9 in the box = no run game. Taylor and this OL are poorly suited for this scheme jmo Z. Jones needs to get it together and be a deep threat for the running game to open up. Losing C. Clay and Matthews makes matters worse for a run game.
  22. An Iranian armed forces spokesperson warned it may be time to "teach Americans new lessons" if the Trump administration labeled Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization. Masoud Jazayeri, an IRGC commander and spokesperson, issued the threat, Reuters reported. “It seems the Trump administration understands only swear words, and needs some shocks to understand the new meaning of power in the world,” Jazayeri said, according to ISNA. “The Americans have driven the world crazy by their behavior. It is time to teach them a new lesson.” http://www.foxnews.com/world/2017/10/10/iranian-armed-forces-spokesperson-its-time-to-teach-americans-new-lessons.html Seems like they are daring Trump to label IRGC a terrorist organization
