Good player. Don't love or hate the pick. I keep reading reports about his explosive first step. But whenever you watch him, he is almost always a split second slower off the line than everyone else. Like he is trying too hard not to be offsides. That seems quite coachable and it would have a huge impact on his game imo.

Carolina fans seem very much the fair weather type. The restaurant that I bartend at, here in Raleigh is pretty large. There's about 20 self proclaimed "die hards" that work there. Yet, during the playoff game today, almost all of them were there at work, very non chalantly stopping up to check the score and cheer them on for a play or two. Work is the last place I'd be for a playoff game!

Interesting. I can understand players wanting to retire earlier because of concussions, mainly LBs or guys that bang heads making tackles or blocking every play or QBs like Aikman and Steve Young. I can't really think of Megatron ever having a concussion though.
