Speaking of the Saints and their defensive woes, did anyone here Collinsworth say that Byrd continues to be a liability in the open field after he got juked by Freeman?? Dude was a much better player in Buffalo it seems for whatever reason.
I was thrilled when I found out. I loved Hughes at TCU and thought he'd be a good fit in Indy bookended with Freeney. Thought Sheppard was very average at LSU. But people seemed kind of hyped on him. Can't wait to see this front with Dareus and Shaq in the mix.
I'd take a chance on Romo in a second. He's legit when healthy and would make Buffalo a contender. If the defense can continue to improve and get healthy, they could be a force next year. A qb is the missing piece IMO. So yeah, I'd gamble on the dude.
Sometimes when you win, you actually lose. Sometimes when you lose, you actually win. Sometimes when you win or lose, you actually tie. Sometimes when you tie, you actually win or lose.
He still can't read defenses quickly. That happens to be important for an NFL QB. Not to pile it on, but Buffalo may just have, as a collective group, the worst set of pure passers in the NFL.
Anyone have any information of Anthony Lynn? Philosophies or tendencies? I'm assuming the scheme will remain quite similar. Just different play calling.. hopfully better?
The dude just isn't comfortable in the pocket for whatever reason. He had good protection tonight and just got all jittery and just bailed. Cardale is a long shot, but he is more composed than Tyrod and EJ in the pocket. There's hope for him at least. Pocket presence is something you either have or don't IMO.
