Check the playoff scenario generator link in the first post if you don't believe me Titans beat the Jags and they are in and Ravens beat Cinci they are in. We aren't winning today so if you are factoring that in then you will have a sad christmas

Titans have to beat the Jags to get in. They could win or lose this week and assuming we lose to NE it won't matter for them as long as they win next week. If they beat them then we are fighting it out with Ravens or Chargers for the last spot. If Ravens beat Cinci they are in. So basically if Ravens or Titans lose next week that opens the door for either us or Chargers. So we want Chargers to lose today so then it's just us who can sneak in! You are right, Jags won't have anything to play for, but they would probably want to win to keep a division rival out. Having played them twice and destroying them the first time, the Titans have the most knowledge about how to beat them. Also, Marrone doesn't seem like the type of coach that would rest players. Jags should be favored in that one so that is probably our best chance to sneak in

Titans game tomorrow has absolutely nothing to do with our playoff chances. Only relevant game tomorrow is the Chargers at Jets. Chargers need to lose either tomorrow or next week. Jets at home could give them a good game. Then Raiders the following week is a good rivalry game. So I would expect them to lose 1 of those 2. Hopefully it's tomorrow so we have a better idea of what we need in week 17. At that point all we will need is 1 win (Dolphins our best chance obviously) and either Ravens or Titans to lose in week 17. Titans will be the underdogs vs Jags and Ravens vs Cinci is a toss up, flip a coin type game imo. So I like our chances. There is a very realistic path to the playoffs. We just need to do our part and have a little luck along the way

that would have been the right thing to do imo. let's say Brady defies the odds and has a good season next year as a 41 yr old. how much longer could he possibly play at that level? maybe a couple of yrs tops. Jimmy G is only 26. pairing him with a bunch of 1st round picks from trading Brady would have kept the Pats at the top. but this way it's more fun for us watching Brady wash out and the Pats having no plan B

Ok understood. Admittedly I haven't been following the whole thread, just the highlights. I just want to keep the conversation open in the small likelihood that someone with inside info will feel comfortable posting it. People scared Leroi away and some of his info was legit so if someone who may or may not have inside info wants to post it then please do and then we can also be free to research and refute it. But let's keep an open mind because you never know...the truth is out there!!!

I think we should just let him post what he wants and it's up to the reader to determine if they want to believe it or not. i don't think we should scare people away who may or may not have info to share with the fans. if it ends up being nonsense then we will know soon enough. a lot of people scared Leroi away and a lot of his info was good stuff. i'd rather have the info presented to me and then pick and choose what i want to believe

i'd wager that we played better in the 1st half of those games than the 2nd. we try and confuse them and then the Pats make the necessary changes at halftime

when has that ever worked in the history of the NFL? you can't fix QB's. once the bullets start flying they quickly revert back to the way they have always done things. it's just instinct. almost impossible to fix. but coaches and scouts with their big egos think they can fix it. that is complete nonsense. you don't get to this level and then completely change everything that has gotten you this far Allen is not an NFL QB. he can't even complete passes against East Podunk University

Rosen is a better passer and it's not really close. Darnold will be a game manager at the next level. He can't put the team on his back like Rosen has proven he can. Darnold needs a good running game and playmakers around him. That's fine if you have a good nucleus around the player like what Dak has in Dallas. He can have success but he's not like Brady or Rodgers where he can do it all on his own. I think he's staying in school anyhow so doesn't matter either way. He will be the #1 QB coming out next year. This year it's Rosen and for his sake hopefully he somehow falls to the Giants. A fancy pants kid like him won't do well in middle of nowhere Cleveland surrounded by a bad team. He will lose interest fast. He would do much better in NY where he has good receivers and he has a lot going on around him to stimulate his senses and keep him happy. Wouldn't it be funny if Cleveland took Manziel 2.0 (Mayfield) and passed on Rosen? I don't think they are that dumb though. Even they can't screw this one up

1. Tolbert isn't a FB 2. If he's a FB then he's not even the best FB on this team 3. Tolbert didn't even make the active roster last game, healthy scratch 4. How many family members does he have voting for him? Someone needs to look into this
