  1. You guys are funny. Darnold is staying in school. If you are watching this game you will see why. He has a long way to go and a lot left to accomplish. Rosen is ready now, day 1 starter. Nobody else in this draft is as NFL ready. I also like Rudolph over Allen
  2. I'm sure your car will still be there after you get back from the game...maybe.
  3. 1 hit wonder on a very good team. No thanks. Reminds me of the 1 good year Fitz had with us so we signed him to the big contract that he could never live up to because he's not very good.
  4. Oh we are just supposed to give up. Gotchya. Do you ever watch football? So when it's 2nd and 25 you should just get the punter ready right? Handing the ball off up the middle to a FB/fat running back that's good for 1-2 power yards is the worst play I could think of in that situation. The defense is going to give you 10 yards underneath every time in that situation. You throw a crossing route under the coverage and pick up half of the yards to make it a manageable 3rd down
  5. I win. /thread
  6. 2nd and 25 against the defending world champs and he has them hand the ball to Tolbert for a hard fought 0 yard gain. Rico should have been immediately escorted from the field and his office cleaned out. He will unfortunately survive because his out is he will blame it all on bad QB play. And unfortunately for us we all know this isn't the only reason why. His play calling is atrocious. We are in for another bad offensive season next year.
  7. i have inside sources too. i can't tell you anything other than FOLLOW THE DOTS
  8. This is correct. His throwing motion is all sorts of screwed up. I was watching him and he had the ball stripped fairly easily. Just imagine once NFL level defenders see that. They will be going for the ball every time he drops back
  9. People close to Darnold already said he is staying in school. He needs more time to develop. Rosen is a day 1 starter physically. Best pocket passer in many years. Mentally, who knows. He's immature and his family is already wealthy. He could play a couple of years and say this is boring I'm going to run for congress instead. He doesn't need the game and his interests are elsewhere. I dont think the Bills will give up their entire draft for either player. They would be more inclined to go after a veteran QB. Alex Smith, Cousins, Bradford have been mentioned as possible targets.
  10. Why didn't you guys donate to my go fund me? Tolbert is trash. It was the right thing to do
  11. Terry vs the NFL:
  12. we tried that with McCoy and he used us to drive up his price with Denver. coaches don't look fondly at a situation like ours with no QB and our best player is a 30+ yr old RB. we won't get the cream of the crop here. we go for the 2nd tier coaches and overpay
  13. just checking in to see if we signed Cousins yet. 12 first round picks and a $150 million contract is all it will take. a contract like that for a very mediocre player would absolutely destroy this franchise. there's a reason why Washington hasn't signed him long term
  14. he will be a HC or retire. he's paid his dues as a OC for too long to step back down imo i highly doubt that would happen but if for some reason it did i doubt he would pick Buffalo. he would be the most sought after OC in the league this is probably true. they will give Dennison 1 more shot with a real QB. he will use Tyrod as a scapegoat to save his own job. then once we are bad again with ____________ then he will be out of excuses
  15. when business decisions trump football decisions. Brady is a cash cow for Kraft and he is going to ride that wave as long as possible. this will of course mean the end for Belichick with no plan B for the post Tommy era. i would expect them to draft a QB this year in possibly the 1st or 2nd round and they do have ammo to trade up if a QB drops which would show just how desperate Billy B is
  16. good coach, too bad they missed their window to get it done in Az
  17. As for the drops, he seems to be getting out physicalled out there. he needs to hit the weight room in the offseason. it's a big step from a small college program to the NFL. he might not have been prepared physically for the challenge. hit the weights, become more physical, get a better QB and then lets see where he's at I must have missed this great pro bowl season that Sammy Watkins never had. the 4th overall pick in the draft better make multiple pro bowls and yet here we are
  18. if you have Tom Brady throwing you the ball then even Chris Hogan looks like a pro bowler. if you have Tyrod throwing you the ball then good luck. in the NFL you never get wide open so you need a QB that can fit it into those tiny windows when you do get a little separation. hard to evaluate a WR when you don't have a QB that can get them the ball.
  19. right away as in year 1. they had Goff on the bench for a few games and people were freaking out and they had to play him. you can't have a QB sitting on the bench and developing. they need to play. drafting a later round guy in hopes he will develop does not work and nobody does that. they are either good right away or they flame out and the main reason is because you can't carry a guy that can't play on your roster, there's not enough spots. if they see they stink right off the bat then they are quick to cut them loose (Cardale). which is really too bad because at 21-23 yrs old who can really say they were the best versions of themselves at that point in their lives? if the Bills get a veteran starter or stick with Tyrod and then also draft a QB, how much longer do you think Peterman has? no time to develop. you either do well right off the bat when you get your shot or you are on your way out of the league. it happens that fast
  20. who is our QB?
  21. The Bills need a QB? This is groundbreaking stuff. Tell me more
  22. Jerry Hughes more trouble than he's worth when he's not sacking the QB. I could see them moving on from him but man we would REALLY have zero pass rush at that point. No Dareus, no Hughes, no Kyle. Our defense would be gutted at that point
  23. Define "a while." All of them started year 1. Nobody sits anymore, especially high draft picks. You can't justify some no name QB from the 4th round sitting on your roster and developing for a few years like they should. They can either can play right away or they are gone pretty quickly. All the more reason to have a developmental league imo. I would definitely take a shot on these types of guys if I could send them off to the minor leagues and see if they turn into something. They aren't going to develop with limited reps in practice and not playing in the games
  24. ?? All of them did so thank you for proving my point
  25. Most 1st round QB's play right away these days. There's only so many roster spots available. Teams don't have room for project players. When was the last time a team drafted and developed a QB? Jimmy G is the only one I can think of and he's not even on the team that developed him anymore. When you are a team like the Pats you can develop someone. Other teams don't have that luxury. Rosen is a day 1 NFL starter. We need someone like that. Otherwise plan B is get a veteran QB and maybe then once that position is solidified you have an opportunity to develop a young guy. We need a QB now so if you are investing heavily at the position it needs to be someone who can play and make an impact right away
