Am I the only one who would've been mad had they actually called the timeout to ice the kicker? The guy was running onto the field to make the damn thing, The idea of calling a timeout when the Dolphins were making what usually would be a pretty bad mistake would've been called idiotic on Rex's part too had he gotten the timeout, and Franks misses it. Then it doesn't count cause of the timeout, lines up with time granted by Rex and makes the 2nd try. I honestly don't think Rex really wanted that timeout til after the kick. Corey White on the other hand, I don't know why they didn't see him.

We will see what Lawson has in the near future. I love how Tyrod was Rex's idea but you skimmed over that. I love how the defense is "doing its job" except the last 4 losses (Steelers, Raiders, Patriots, Dolphins) in which they allowed 2 200 yard rushing games, a blow out to the Pats, and allowed 29 unanswered points when we had a 15 point lead against the raiders, and that's our playoff hopes. I do know that a stretch of games like that gets head coaches fired more often than not. I'm not sure if Rex deserves one more year or not, but give me a damn break, Whaley is not the problem.

I heard his on the field post game interview about being mad that they passed on short yardage to the endzone. He seemed so overly pleased that they ran on the next down as if his blowing up dictated the game plan to the OC. The hilarious part was that they stopped the run, and on the 3rd attempt passed for a TD. He skimmed over that. They passed it, you jackass.

The part where it is luck, and good special teams. Come on, who scores a 2 pt INT runback on a 2 pt conversion attempt to win the game? No one ever has. Except them. Special teams, turnovers, and some pretty good luck. They won a couple games on kickoff returns or PAT returns or some other nonsense. I don't think they are a playoff team, and I think they will be once again blown out in the playoffs.

Tyrod wasn't the same as any of those. He hadn't had his shot yet, and was given time to develop behind Flacco. He was a better chance than a lot of the draft prospects.

We took Manuel, and Jones, and signed Taylor in 4 years. I'm not sure why you don't count Tyrod, but we took a shot on a young QB who had time to sit behind Flacco. The real difference you are complaining about is that their picks worked, and ours didn't. Such is life.
