They showed it on the broadcast, and as the announcers even said, there was some serious acting going on. It was a bad call for sure, but did we lose because of it? No. People need to quit blaming the officials every time we lose, face it this team sucks. If they would have had that TD, they would have found another way to lose anyway.

I have noticed quite a few times over the past 5 or 6 games that whenever Stevie thinks me might get hit, he drops the ball, or slides down to avoid the defenders. Not bashing him, but I don't remember him being like this last year. Yesterday the announcers even mentioned that it looked like he gave a half-ars effort. Not saying he never makes good catches, or he sucks or whatever someone who wants to jump on me for saying it, but it appears lately like he is playing scared. Anyone else notice that?

I have to agree about one thing, Mike Martz has a serious Man Crush on Fitz. He was talking about him like he was the second coming of John Elway or Joe Montana? It got to the point where I was laughing.

I mostly agree with you, but I don't think this is a Playoff caliber team with Fitz at QB. I said a few months ago, that the only differences between the Bills and the Patriots is they have a HOF QB and Coach, and we have a couple terrible individuals in those positions. I really think we have as much talent elsewhere as them, but at those two positions we are so far behind them, it is the difference between 11-5 and 5-11 seasons. Gailey is terrible, but even with a good quarterback this year, this team is 8-5 at worst, as they win the second Pats game, the Titans game and the Colts game with a real QB.

I can honestly say that after about 35 years of being a die hard Bills fan, and I still am, these type of losses bother me less each time they occur, and it seems pretty frequently. For the first time ever, it seems like I am losing a little interest and when the game is over I dont' really think about it too much, where as it used to piss me off for days. I can't say I don't care anymore, because I do, I guess I have just given up hope of this franchise ever returning to glory and not being a push over and one of the NFL's biggest jokes. Apparently what so many others say is true, nothing is going to change until ownership does. Heck No, he will play his starters and try to finish 8-8 to save his job. I hope it doesn't matter what the record ends with, he needs to go. Hiring him in the first place was a joke. They should throw Tarvaris Jackson out there for 3 games, see it he was worth the draft pick we gave up for him. Not sure anyone can even confirm that he is ever even in Buffalo?

I had almost zero confidence in Fitz at this point, it seems like every time he gets in a situation like this he throws a terrible pass that is picked off, and guess what, he did just that again.

He wasn't as bad as he usually is considering he was hit all day long, but Outstanding? What game did you watch?

Would you wanna be here if you were anyone who isn't from here? Spiller be gone when his contract is up, I am sure he harbors bad feelings for his lack of use after almost 3 seasons. I think Spiller can be a great back, not ever a 25-30 touches back, he is too small. Have always disagreed with the drafting of Spiller with 2-1,000 yard backs on the roster already. If we were a good team then with minimal needs, then great, but this team sucked then, sucks now, has sucked for 12 or 13 years and had too many holes to draft a luxury pick.

Jauron did win more then Gailey, and that right there tells you how bad it really is. 8 wins in one season won't get you to the playoffs, much less 8 wins in two seasons. They should be so proud. Darn you , I just laughed so hard i crapped myself.

That says more about the Offensive Lines then the QBs or the Refs, especially since Fitz is more mobile then Brady. Has nothing to do with refs showing favorites. Give me a stat of number of times they were hit after the whistle, there will be a higher penalty rate against Brady.

What do you expect from a GM who got his "big break" at the age of 70 and and "offensive genius" head coach who nobody has been interested in for the past decade?

Heck, with any luck, Fitz will be available for the Ravens. Fitz and Sanchez might be a toss up, but I am not a Romo fan, but he is so much better then Fitz, not even in the same universe.

Not sure he is the answer, but a definite improvement over Fitz, in just that he doesn't lose 4 or 5 games by himself every season because of his lack of arm strenght and piss poor decisions. I wish Larry the Cable Guy would throw a copyright around here so that phrase goes away, sounds dumb as hell when used in this context. I would classify someone who has two pass attempts and two interceptions over almost two season as a quarterback, but as "You can have him back if you give me my quarter back." What a waste of money and space he has been.

He he becomes available, my first question would be "Is he here yet?" He is light years better then Fitz, and that might be an understatement I just don't know a word to make it even a bigger gap then that sounds. Much better then anything in this years draft class also. Flacco isn't Aaron Rodgers, but what a cannon he has to throw in this weather here, and he has done as much winning as almost any other quarterback ever in his first 4 or 5 seasons.

If you are that sick of these posts, and it is a valid post whether you want to open your eyes and believe it or not, what will you do if they move? You will really be sick then. I would agree that it does seem that when you become an Admin on this board you get a can of helium to inflate your ego and sphere between your shoulders (and probably the box set of Gunsmoke so you can act like Marshall Dillon), but the caps? Really? Most of can read the normal size print just fine.

Stats are so overrated. The Jaguars were 1st in the NFL in scoring in the Red Zone-shows you how worthless stats are. Fitz has been underperforming for his contract since the day he ripped off the Bills and signed the extension. He is consistenly towards the top in interceptions and turnovers. Has more balls batted down in a season then most QBs do in a career. He makes the worst decisions at the most critical times. The majority of his stats are garbage time stats when they are way behind and the defense is giving him yardage. And how many of his TD's are for more then 25 yards, not many, and even those one are mostly all yards after the catch. No team will ever compete for a division with Fitz at the QB helm, he is one of the worst in the league. He might be a real nice guy with a monster size heart, but how many games will that win you? Not many-obviously. As far as your list of salaries, you state he is kinda low for his product? I would take at least 10 of the guys listed below him over him any day of the year.

The Bills organization has being saying that for years-"Be patient and just keep spending your money on our garbage product." Patient my bloody ******* *******. Doesn't he know Bills fans are no different then anyone else, in that they dont live forever. No such thing as a "sure bet" in the draft period. It is all a crapshoot, but if you don't try you won't ever succeed.

You are 100% correct. I do wonder though, if there are some unknown to us fans, clauses in that big contract extension that is encouraging him to be more mature?

If I remember correctly, the front office was forcing him and trying to make the decisions of what coaches he was keeping and which ones he was firing, so he bolted. Don't blame him. I really thought when he came here we finally found a good HC, a feeling I never had with Chan Gailey from the git-go. Apples and oranges. We haven't had a QB half as good as either of them since Bledsoe got dumped after finally having a winning season (and the only winning season since Moby Dick was a minnow), because Losman was the savior.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least bit if the Jags win here, and in easy fashion. Henne is hot, Mularkey and Poz (who would still be here if it weren't for the failed defensive switch) are returning and the Bills suck. Not sure it would be a disaster though, maybe a little to strong of a word. I mean flies can land on excrement, but it already stunk before the flies arrived, so is it really a disaster? A disaster is Chan's play calling, Fitz's play and Ralph's ownership. And give them an excuse to keep the worthless bunch of GM, HC and QB around-because "we improved the second half of the season", like we haven't heard that before.

That was an excellent play, and great hustle on Stevie's part for sure. He still has some areas of his game to work on, he drops way too many balls, but he has become a very good route runner, and has had to put up with Fitz trying to get the ball to him. One of the few bright spots on this team.

If you are correct, and I have no reason with this franchise to think you are wrong, another long, losing season next year shoudl come a no surprise to absolutely anyone, whatsoever.

I agree, half of the Bills and Jaguars fans don't even want to see this game. If the networks aired a game nationally that the biggest story line in the game was Mike Mularkey coming back to Buffalo, people might cancel their cable service. To about 99.5% of American Football fans, they would rather have no game then watch this game. Us hardcore fans will watch, but that is what we do, this could be a form us punishment used for the terrorists in Guantanamo, make them sit and watch the whole game. All games are on Sunday TIcket, as long as you aren't in the region that is blacked out.
