  1. Poor guy, working so hard he falls asleep at his desk. Wakes up (barely) at 3am hungry because he didn't have dinner, grabs the first thing available in the fridge, and there's two friends of his daughter looking for a picture... Yeah, right...
  2. It was worth watching the videos to catch the "I signed up for this?!" look on his face... Absolutely no defense there...
  3. You mean like the ones in Minnesota?
  4. Yeah, must have taken a lot of training to get over the fear of touching the ball with your hands... You probably still get the urge to kick it every so often...
  5. What a lovely Americanised domain name (though I see you also have .co.uk ... ) Are the offensive and defensive units "named?" I see "Machine" under all the O players' names and "D-Block" under all the D players' names...
  6. Oh, and BTW it's "Forever in Blue Jeans." You can read all about the Blue Jean Phenomena in Rock Music here: http://www.cottoninc.com/LifestyleMonitor/...aSummer01/?Pg=9
  7. Well, if you're going to go that far, how about Tiny Dancer by Elton John: "Blue jean baby, L.A. lady, seamstress for the band"
  8. "Blue Jeans, I just met a girl in (not named ) blue jeans."
  9. That's true...maybe he will be cured... Get well soon, Puhonix....
  10. Wow, never thought I'd see Adam Sandler and Kevin Costner acting in the same movie...
  11. The first thought that came to my mind were the Russian school and theater hostage situations....
  12. My guess, not knowing revenues but general size of market, is that the Sabres would possibly be beneficiaries of the revenue sharing. Regardless, it's a lot easier for a team with $34M in salary to keep up with a $37M salary team than a $100M+ salary team...
  13. What I always loved is when I was offered comp time when I had 6 weeks of accumulated vacation to burn...
  14. Is that a dill gravy....?
  15. More like it's good to see that CNN is focusing on the majority of muslims who abhor the attacks rather than the handful dancing in the streets...
  16. Or somebody's friend who is a Patriots fan ... same difference...
  17. Ummm, the article attached to the photo speaks of Ying Ying giving birth...I'd say it's a "she." When's the WNBA draft? ...and Jay, you've been "productive" this year...
  18. You might have received better responses if you had clarified at which point you were stuck. As it is, you're original post sounds like "answer this for me," which was probably not your original intent. If you had posted the question, then stated what you understood and where you got stuck, and asked for help with where you got stuck, it might have gone a little smoother for ya... Just a thought...
  19. Perhaps it's a problem with the way they set up the callers, instead of people "unwilling" to talk. I think they could really learn a lot by how things were formatted on WNSA, which was usually: a.) 4-5 topics on a variety of sports, including potentially a "wacky/pseudo-sports related" one. b.) "open forum" to talk about something besides said topics (the topics were more "conversation starters" rather than "this is all we'll discuss today"). c.) Be tolerant of callers, to a degree. Don't insist on calling someone stupid right off the bat because their ideas conflict with yours. Just a thought...
  20. You have to learn to be more gentle with your dates... Many critters, including a couple of deer (ran over a deer once that had just been hit and was still lying in the middle of the road...just past the crest of a hill...no damage but the smell of singed Bambi fur for a while...), some raccoon (pumpkinned one good), squirrels, birds, a cat, etc. Funniest was a rabbit, though it wasn't my kill. Wife caught it while it was jumping and sent it flying up over the windshield....boing boing BOOIIIINNNGGGG!
  21. Another sweet voice silenced. RIP Luther.
  22. He killed our pride, he killed our team, he took our fried bologna for his own need....
  23. Hey, dev, start counting...I bet you are not post #666 any more...
  24. BiB, I know that recipe, so I was able to correct your one glaring typo....
