  1. Run D is really suspect...after all, everyone's reporting how McGahee is running all over them in camp...
  2. Steve Young threw for 11 TD's and 21 INTs with a QB rating of 63 in his first 19 games...you actually think Losman, based on a scrimmage, will be worse than that?
  3. Or maybe beerball shouldn't have waited 'til the deadest part of the day to post it. Happy Birthday! Have a plate at noon tomorrow. Then at 12:03 go home and take a nap.
  4. I heard they enlisted Bat Boy to smuggle in much of the nuclear material.
  5. Isn't "just OK" an improvement over last year's QB efforts?
  6. Amen brother, and thanks to jad1 for the HOF speech segment. RIP Hunter.
  7. Hey, I wasn't going to embarass you in front of the whole Wall by bringing that up. Just like I didn't call the SPCA over the part about the goat. I was trying to respect your privacy to some degree...
  8. Not in a box? Not with a fox? Hey, I hear Bledsoe's having a great camp too...maybe we should have kept him...
  9. Yeah, my best friend writes all those replies on the players' behalf. He lets me see them every so often, and I remember yours. I still don't get why you'd be so interested in seeing Sam wearing a cowboy hat and tight red shorts, but whatever floats your boat buddy...
  10. ...and people say we talk too much about players that left the team during this off-season...
  11. The Sabres signed this guy? Okay......
  12. While "on paper" it would be good to hand this smart, capable kid the starting job, you're forgetting it's not just about "which guy is making the line calls, hiking the ball and blocking the middle." It's also about "which guy works with the QB to make sure everything's in synch." One of the JP articles I read recently had him gushing over how much Teague's experience and expertise has helped him. I'm one who has usually considered that angle (knowing it wasn't Kelly alone that was the key to the no-huddle offense, but Kelly-Hull working together on the play calls that made it work) I think a first year starter at QB combined with a rookie center would have a much higher potential of the big "D" word than having the much more experienced and savvy Teague up there. I really think Losman needs Teague if he has any hope of being successful in his first year...If only someone could teach Teague how to long snap.
  13. It's a difficult balance as there is such a thing as over-hydrating too. Too much water can cause dangerously low sodium levels. Of course, they usually use electrolyte balancing drinks such as Gatorade or Pedialyte (!) which reduces the risk.
  14. He said that just to tick you off.
  15. Snapfish has a European presence ( http://www.snapfish.co.uk ), AND they use Kodak processing (unlike shutterfly, which uses Fuji). They obviously are also available in the US at http://www.snapfish.com/
  16. What makes you think that, jerky jerk?
  17. Maybe that's his play on Flutie/Johnson, to put them together as a single two-headed monster...
  18. What's he doing scrambling?! He was under no pressure at all!
  19. Well, it appears that the Raiders are staffing up with former rugby playing limeys, so they should be a breeze this year.
  20. He didn't by chance sign up today, did he?
  21. Disappointed you won't be able to experience a pre-Wegman's Opening Camp-out the week before? Maybe you'll go camp out for a couple days anyway...?
  22. Come on, Hogboy, you can do better than that!
  23. Next time right-click "Save File as..." Open the file from your hard drive. Then you can wiggle all you want...
  24. You make it sound like we've had 5 losing head coaches trounce through here since Wade...
