  1. I don't like announcers. I would really like it if DTV offered the option for enhanced stats graphics and ambient stadium noise. Rarely do any announcers have anything entertaining or enlightening to say. Or they try too hard to be funny and they just are not. jmho
  2. Ignore them. Become self sufficient. Let them all fight amongst themselves with their petty religious/political tiffs. Including Israel.
  3. Damn global warming.
  4. More or less indifferent to the whole thing. I do think that just looking at the guy, something bad was going to happen to him sooner rather than later. I would have thought he might have died of some sort of chemical poisoning with all the space age polimars in him from various surgeries.
  5. There is a movie out there called "Ping Pong Playa" that I rented on Netflix. I'm always looking for something from the independent genre and this one looked like it might be funny. I know it's obscure and more than likely no one on this board has seen it except for me. I've never watched such hatred in a movie. Overboard stereotyping of whites and outright saying "Their the enemy" when a Chinese guy complains too a hot Chinese chick that she dates too many white guys. I can't help but think that even if this was a moderately mainstream or even a major release, this would go virtually unnoticed.

  7. Thats for sure. Really you could consider both marriage(with his kind of income) and opening a restaurant terrible business moves. But you would think the real estate one would pull him through. Can't imagine anyone with half a brain opening a restaurant unless you have lots of experience.
  8. Friday after a hard work week on the patio at Pete's. Having some beers. Watching the sun go down behind the sun dried California hills. Warped Tour on the Pier below the Bay Bridge Tailgating at Bills games Hockey Night In Canada 80's flicks DVR's/Direct TV/HD
  9. I cried when the girl came home raped and beat too $h1t. I'm a wimp as I get older.
  10. Neato. Poking around Google website and found this. Enter a image search item and check it out. Very cool I know not earth shattering or anything.
  11. Just curious who will be getting this for the 360 when it comes out the end of the month? Have played FN 3 only a few times online and it was fun. Looking forward to playing more online with this one. Demo seems solid although it seems a bit faster than the previous edition. Not sure if thats due to both fighters being a lighter weight though.
  12. It's an even sadder commentary on the Bills scouting, drafting abilities. They went out of their way to get him and this is how he ends up?
  13. uI don,t hasve any excuse. I guess I just am.
  14. I think if you can switch teams that easily you never were a true fan of the original team. Just can't happen. I grew up a Bills fan in S. Ontario and have been in the Bay area for 9 years. Even as frustrated and worn down by the Bills as I am, at no time have I ever felt the urge to become a Raider or Niner fan. Not like that would be an improvement but still.
  15. I'd be surprised if they put a team in that lunch bucket town. London, Waterloo/Kitchener I can see. Even Mississagua or Burlington. Took em 60 years to put a decent highway in there so people could get around. Now they think they can handle a team?
  16. Man I don't buy that. Not with the Wings. Most Stanley Cup tested team around. A little luck. Some good goal tending for Pitt did it. But Pens got themselves in a position to win. They deserved it.
  17. May try the pc version. Have to finish a couple other games first. Dead Space and Far Cry 2. By then prices will be lower maybe? Is it a open world game or is it a more linear. Is it 3rd person or fps?
  18. +1 for the grilled. Tried it a couple nights ago and it was good. Better for you to I would imagine. Worth a try
  19. heh.. got dtv so were good. phew!
  20. Yes, because the media didn't give him the time of day he can't be legit, right?
  21. OMG how will I ever figure this out!!! I need some govt agency to come to my aid.! I need my TV! FCC, Obama, someone owes me some sort of comp.
  22. http://rawstory.com/08/news/2009/06/11/us-...t-the-fed-bill/ Big fan of Paul's. Hope this one gets through. I'm really pleasantly surprised by the bipartisan support. Most of the support is from the Republican side but nice to see some Democratic push as well. Will be interesting to see how far this gets until it gets blown out of the water.
  23. They're not that bright, most of them, that's why they took the weaselly easy way and chose to live off the public. If they were really sharp they would be in the private sector creating instead of taking. You can't expect anything else I guess then the situation we have.
  24. Should be a flat tax of 10% across the board for everyone. NO exemptions. But of course the government doesn't want that. Would render the huge IRS irrelevant. Can't have that. Less money for lawyers and accountants. A bunch of government workers would actually have to go out and do something useful. Also, the math is to simple. Controlling government likes to keep everything kinda foggy and vague to keep its people unsure. Tax finance is so complex that you need us to keep track of it for you.
  25. Thats not the way it's worked in my experience. Management always takes as much as or more of a hit. Most of the time you can't do without productive(good laborers). You need them to bring money in. You really don't want to lose the good ones and you have to take steps to keep them. During slow periods we cut hours from 40 to 32 so no one gets hurt too badly and we don't lose our good guys forever. Now in times like this, the upside is that its a great opportunity to shake deadbeat employees. Both on the managerial and labor side.
