  2. The posts really do make me feel good guys. Thank you very much. Have been late in replying because my father flew in from Canada to keep a eye on me. In regards to the chemo, my doctor did say that I was getting a very small amount. So I don't anticipate anything too harsh. I hope this is true. They gave me some drug I took tonight in prep for tomorrows chemo that kinda buzzed me a little. I would have to go upstairs a to see what it is but it starts with a A lol. I also don't have to go in for chemo treatments. I'm getting this little pump that administers it automatically while I'm at home if I understand it correctly. As for the local weed. Damn, Ive never really done the stuff because I never cared for it. BUT, in this case, considering my doctor imposed wagon riding, I certainly would give it another try!! Just don't know anyone that really does it.
  3. I knew he was a bit of a party guy but I never imagined he was in that much trouble with drugs. Amazing he's where he is at this point.
  4. I suppose this is a lamp but here it goes. The past few months Ive been constantly out of breath. Not just out of shape out of breath but something more. Heart beating like mad. No wind. My family has a history of blocked arteries so I would have bet a large some of money a visit too the O.R was in the near future. They checked out my heart. Np. Then did this radioactive solution test to check for clogged arteries. To test they also gave me this scary drug that stressed my heart for 3-4 minutes which was scary as hell. Really thought I was gonna die as they told me not to close my eyes. All that checked out well. NPs. So my blood tests come back the same day as I did this artery testing(5 hours in all) and I have a message on the machine when we get home telling me to come in I need a blood infusion!! WTF? Red blood cells way down. Crap. End up having to go to the ER for this and was down there for 10 hours(2pm-12am) getting to units of blood. Scared $h1tless at this point. So more blood tests and finally they want me to go to a blood specialist a few days later and she tells me she wants to do a bone marrow biopsy. Sigh. Ok I do it but it takes 8 days for the results to come back. Of course those 8 days are pure hell. Mind going every which way wondering what the hell is going on. Finally the day comes to find out the results and I was kinda dazed. Really need a shot of vodka or tequila to settle me down but I can't even do that because another doctor diagnosed me with a fatty liver and doesn't want me to drink for three months, if ever. She tells me I have Hairy Cell Leukemia and my heart sank. Cells in your bones that suppress red blood cells and cause the lack of oxygen in my system. Extremely rare at 2% of all leukemia patients. They don't know what causes it. The thing is with this particular disease is that it is highly curable. In fact, up to 95% success rate with 7 day shot of chemo! So I had to get a pick line put in on Friday. Another 2 units of blood on Saturday and I get some sort of pump put on the pick line for the chemo. I'm so glad it's only 7 days! I really wish I was not in this situation but when I think of all the much nastier things it could have been I am very thank full. After the chemo is done I have to go in 3 times a week for blood tests and it tapers off after a month or so I believe. ugh
  5. I really enjoy the show. Three favorite episodes Ive watched lately are the Tuscany, Nagasaki and Mexican/US border. Very good. When they repeat those be sure to record them. I'm reading his book right now "Kitchen Confidential". Pretty informative and funny
  6. Chris Neil available. They should go for it. I know Sabre fans have a hard on for him but what team doesn't? He's that type of player that nobody likes unless he's on your team. Good thing about him is that he is that grit guy and he can play. Gotta have him and Buffalo should go for him before Burke and the Leafs do.
  7. The more I think about it, isn't this pretty typical of leftist dems these days?? It's all uncontrolled idealists with no answers. Only "emotional" statements that go no where.
  8. Game moves along a lot faster than a NFL game. Way less scheduled tv time outs. You are going to a very good match up as well. Both teams a pleasure to watch on most nights. Curious to see how you like sitting so low. I prefer to be a bit higher. Sometimes, if your sitting really low, it's a bit harder to follow the play. But it also has it's advantages. Hear what the players are saying and so on. I like being maybe 15 rows up or so but I'm really nit picking. I'd take any ticket and be happy.
  9. To me the guy said a whole lot of nothing. No substance to his statement. Strange
  10. You've never lived in Canada. Players are treated like movie stars. Hockey is almost a religion in Canada, hence they are put on a pedestal. Just a better quality person thats all there is to it. Not nearly as much arrogance
  11. Also, whenever Dave cracked a funny line, it really looked like JP had to work to suppress a smile. Thats what convinced me it was a act.
  12. No wonder I'm a isolationist. Entire world is fvcked up. More so the mid east. Why do we even fvck with them?
  13. Sharks have been inconsistent the last month or so. I think they pulled ahead too fast. I'm kinda glad they have the Red Wings nipping at their heels to maybe motivate them. Sharks played mediocre on this road trip. Lackluster vs Columbus. Stepped it up vs the Bruins. But seemed to lose interest against the Pens the night after. Sabres should be a good test for them. I think after mailing it in vs Pitt they will come to play vs Buffalo. Injuries a key though. Sharks really miss Lukawich because this means we have to play Semenov. Kind of a stiff. Also miss Jody Shelly. Should be a good test for the Sabres as well. I guess they could really use Vanek for this game. Especially the power play.
  14. As goofy as this guy is, it's nice to see someone happy and having a good time. Sure it's beer fueled but what the hell. The guys not half bad http://celtics.fandome.com/video/109548/Am...-Jumbotron/?q=c
  15. I agree with you. I think Pitts image as a pretty boy overwhelms his acting ability. People think he can't act just because of that. He showed his acting flexibility in Kalifornia . See that and you know he's a good actor. Ive always enjoyed all Tarantinos movies. Even the ones like "Dusk Till Dawn" , he co-wrote and did the screenplay on that one I think. He acted in it as well and did a great job. Also True Romance. Wrote and helped the screenplay. But imho opinion he kinda jumped the shark with the Jackie Brown movie. Haven't seen a movie from him since then that I was interested in.
  16. Thanks for posting that. Never heard of her and thats a shame. Fuggin everything is political.
  17. Fantastic Steely Dan. Glad your okay.
  18. Nice touch at the end saying that Sony plans a 800gig model coming out at the end of the year.
  19. http://www.theonion.com/content/video/sony...stupid_piece_of Onion and Cracked.com are reasons enough to have access to the internet.
  20. Lake Erie Elks j/k
  21. Sabres looked good last night. They got a lot of help from the Leafs though. Toronto almost never challenged them on the boards and shied away from contact as much as possible. Buffalo had more room than they knew what to do with. Toronto looked like a team that just didn't want to be there. Schenn has the worst game so far this year(that Ive seen) but he's a rookie. The Stafford goal was fantastic and Kaleta played well.
  22. LOL. Isn't this the truth! See the last election
  23. sigh. This is what were stuck with
  24. Gee, the cops should riot now. I mean, peoples rioted for that schmoe that got killed on the Bart
  25. Benetar was very solid as was her band. Unbelievably strong voice. She married the lead guitarist I believe. Poppy Perry chick is not in her league.
