Said this in another thread. Douchebag politicos just don't go over there and get something like this done. They aren't that bright and don't have the balls to stand up to someone like that little freak. Unless cash is involved or something is given up. People are so fuggin dumb to buy this kinda $h1t.

I always thought it was funny she was on the judging panel as a singer but really couldn't sing herself.

Good relationship with those people. My only gripe, which can't be helped by the distributors, is that all shirts come from overseas now. Haiti, Honduras etc. Quality isn't the best. The best shirt, imho, is made here in the states but too expensive for us to compete. Sad. I'd love to use them. Who are you going to be working for?

geeze, first time I looked at the contract money. $41 million guaranteed and hasn't even played a down yet. A OT getting $33 million guaranteed!

My wife has one. Has cool green flames on it. It was my father in laws car. He's a hot rodder so its chopped. Kinda babby moon/painted rims. I feel like a jerk off driving it so I never do. As for the car itself, I don't like it. Style over substance. Uncombortable. Interior design kinda sucks.

I thought I was pitching in yesterday when we bought the Ford Edge(not a cash for clunker deal) only to read the sticker. Final Assembly in Oakville, Ont. Well, at least I'm supporting the town right next to the one I grew up in.

But seriously, do you really think that it mattered who was there? Or that Bill actually made a difference? I would think that the Koreans had their mind made up before they even saw the guy. Like Billy boy is so convincing he can bamboozle and smooth talk lunatic fringe dictators. I think he does great bull$hitting soccer moms and college grads but I think his mystical charms would be lost on the North Korean guy.

Truth be known, Korea playing a little politics. Likes the left in the west having at least the perception of success.

That would be fun. Remakes of 50's/60s sci fi can be good. Really, I think Alien was, if not a remake, based on Queen Of Blood . I remember seeing this movie when I was younger and it was pretty good. Of course The Thing remake was fantastic as well. Don't know if I can say the same for War Of The Worlds or The Day The Earth Stood Still. WoTW wasn't bad but it didn't stand up to the original

Wow. Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. At least for the vehicle that was going the right way. I wonder what the conversation is like at the nieces parents house is right about now? Incredibly sad

This is the guys I hate in our industry(screen printing). There are a bunch of these marketing/trinket and trash companies that are merely middle men that often never touch the product. A lot of the bigger corporations go to them to get their shirts, bottle openers, golf towels etc. Their buyers are trained to bust the balls of printers like us on price. So for example, they will work us down to say, $3 a printed shirt and resell it to Intel for $10. We do all the printing. Handle the shirts(which they often supply so we can't even make a markup on that). Do art, output film, burn screens package and ship to their customer. We do all the work, they make way more profit than we do. We could sell directly to Intel for much cheaper and we would also make more profit. We restructured 3 years ago and actually got rid of the 3 companies that worked like this.

http://www.latinoreview.com/news/no-more-m...umentaries-7604 Gee, can't imagine myself coping without his wonderful insight. When I read the headline I thought the guy might have finally cashed out from artery disease or something. Guess not

Ok tried the Venza. Cool car but not as much leg room as I would like. Ended up getting a Ford Edge and NOT the Flex that my wife was pushing for. Kind of a neat car but a bit too big for us. Lots of nice features. Edge has most of those and seems a bit smaller. Better vision out of the back of the car. Nice feel to it. DID NOT use the Cash For Clunkers thing(again helping the economy) and did a straight trade with my F150. At work we are a Ford license so that qualified us(X-plan they call it) for approx 8% discount off the dealer invoice in addition to the already existing rebates on 2009($3500). Also got sucked into increasing the warranty from 3 years Bumper To Bumper to 6 years. That cost $1200. Not so sure if that was a good deal or not. Kinda cheap insurance I think. Anyway, I read everyones responses and appreciate all the input. It was helpful

All in all pretty fuggin weak. Tarantino jumped the shark with that Jackie Brown pos and hasn't been close to his previous genius since. Guy just went goofy. Julie and Julia looks way lame out of the box. Do yourself a favor and see a film that isn't even listed here. Hurt Locker. Didn't even need a plot to be immersive, interesting, gripping. Please Mark nothing personal. I really do appreciate your movie previews/updates. Not your fault the product sucks.

Thought this might be of interest to some. My brother in law builds hot rods, classic cars etc for a living. Neil Young is one of his customers and he is building a car called the Linkvolt. This site is Neils and it has a webcam set up to watch the building of the car at Roys shop. Kinda cool, today you could see Neil messing around the car himself. If you see a guy with a bald head thats my brother in law. Seems to be a lot of fans of older, classic rock on this boards so I thought this would be nice to post.

Odd is probably the best way to describe that show. We used to watch it as kids and we enjoyed it although I don't know why. Maybe at that time James Bond was exploding and this show was kind of a weird offspring of that genre. I don't know if they can recapture the feel of it. Hollywood is so formulized now that i really doubt it.

Gee, no conflict of interest there. Fuggin joke.
