  1. Could use some manufacturing in the area. Good downtown may follow. No?
  2. Admitidly I'm a conservative so I am biased. But overall, this has to be the scariest administration that I can remember. In a lot of ways.
  3. Lou Piccone/Frank Lewis Tony Greene/Charlie Rhomes
  4. wtf??? Obviously looking to fund some plastic surgery. I hope she's a buttaface at least.
  5. Not saying thats unlikely. Just the idea of having those two follow him around and bark orders at him is hard to believe. Do you really think he lets that happen?
  6. Not quite Here Being in San Mateo do you work in tech Chef?
  7. NO! I'm a good 45minutes north up the 680 from San Jose. I don't mind San Jose much though. My brother in law is a cop there.
  8. Hey, like I said, I didn't take em. I did upload them though so I guess I'm a little to blame. Should I take them down? I thought they were harmless but maybe not.
  9. No way a guy like Owens have those two shrews around. Like he's told what to do? "Gee, I know. I have this perfect life with lots of cash. Any women I want. I got a great idea. Lets drag two annoying, homely looking, bossy women around Rodeo drive as I buy a $137,000 earing" They had to be from Central Casting as was the asian "real estate agent"
  10. Best of luck to your grandpa. He's also a stud for getting injured in WW2.
  11. Really nice down there. On the bay below the bridge. The Pier, although not that comfortable for a all day concert, is a beautiful setting.
  12. Damn, we had a nice laid back city here until you came to town and turned it into the wild, wild west!!! JK Are you my brother or something? 3 weeks ago, me,son, nephew and my brother went into SF Pier 30/32 for a concert. On the way back on the BART as we got on the train a lady was screaming at her husband. Both drunk and she spit right at the guy but kinda missed and went all over the inside of the glass. It was just ooozing down the glass. Pretty bad. Anyway, she just wouldnt' shut up. Kept berating the guy. It was totally a one way conversation. Anyway a few minutes of this sh-- goes on and they both move up a spot and sit beside a older white guy obviously just coming home from work. Pretty meek looking guy but the drunken dude that is getting yelled at puts his arm around the old guy and starts talking to him. Looking for a ear or something I guess. But he grabs a gold pen out of the guys shirt pocket and its starting to look pretty scary. I wasn't paying as much attention as my brother was. I was kind of tired of her mouth and just started to block her out. My brother, kind of fearing for the poor old dude, steps in between them(he's a pretty big guy as well. Maybe 6' 250) all and says "Sir, can you come with me please, we have a issue in the other car" Drunks didn't know the difference. It was a pretty considerate move and like you Chef, got accolades from the rest of the people on the train. It really is good to have people like you and my brother still around. Good for you Chef. btw pics from that show we went too can be seen here. My brother, besides being a nice guy, is also kind of a perv(in a nice way I guess) He took 90% of the pictures of the women.
  13. This is the kind of thing that gets me upset. Gee, we have a innovative, ground breaking company. One that treats its employees like gold. Oh yeah, it also brings in millions of dollars a day into the US economy. And last time I checked, didn't charge the user for it's product. Lets go after them! Hey, a little heads up for you all. The oil industry has been using thier monopoly for years. Show some balls and go after them. A real threat. I suppose they're too powerful and probably line the right pockets daily. Looks like Google haven't learned to do that yet. What a fuggin joke. http://www.wired.com/techbiz/it/magazine/17-08/mf_googlopoly
  14. lol..articles now reflecting the new Chinese ownership. Looks like they are going to use the paper/webiste to promote their own products http://www.theonion.com/content/news/ameri...masses_agree_it hehehe "I love the new exciting taste of the Yu Wan Mei line of products," said typical American consumer Robert Smith. "Who knew the discarded parts of the fish were such an undiscovered treasure trove of taste sensation, waiting to be enjoyed by exuberant American consumers such as me?" "The deliciousness cannot be contained," he added. "Fish Time is No. 1."
  15. It is a little long but worth the time. I work in a small business as well and can relate to a lot of stuff in this. I'm not the owner but see the stress all the time. Most politico's like Obama who have never had to grind out a buck could probably not relate to this on any level. Letter is probably useless in that regard. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2114854/posts
  16. Wow. Part of the reason I moved from Canada was to get away from socialist tax practices and rates. Nice move. Great sig btw. Where the hell are the T Jeffersons when you need them? I guess they are around, just not popular anymore. They will be though, after I'm dead and people have had enough of a overbearing government.
  17. Remember that game. Watched on tv. Thanks for reminding me . Have gont to the last 2 Leaf visits in San Jose and it was the same thing as far as the crowd. Had a couple of beer drinking Leaf fans (what other kind are there?)sitting beside us couple years ago. Fun as hell with them as they berated their own team all night.
  18. Competition is always the best. I'm happy there are mac fanboys out there. Now, hopefully Google can give Microsoft some competition. Not anti Microsoft by any stretch. Just like someone to push them a bit
  19. I guess courses over there don't reward distance as much as accuracy. Kind of a equalizer.
  20. Drive right past their headquarters on the way too Shoreline Mountainview to watch concerts. Gives me a nice warm fuzzy feeling inside to see a US company kicking a$$. British link I guess so I'm not sure what to make of the money. They say 10 million a day so I guess its pounds which would make it over 16 million a day US! http://digg.com/d1x4uF
  21. A lot of the same bands at Mountain Wacka. Must be all on the same 40+ circuit lol. Livermore sounds good with the meal as well. At Mountain they have a couple outside restaurants there and one(which I wish I got a pic of) is right on the edge of a cliff like deal where you are looking out on the valley. Looked very pricey but if I go again we may give it a try. If prices are anything like the drinks though I doubt it. I got a sticker shocke when I ordered a drink(double Kettle Vodka with Pinapple/Orange) and the girl told me it was A$24! Double and all but still. She was exceptionally cute though. So I guess that counts for something.
  22. Went to the Tears For Fears concert at Paul Masson Mountain Winery on Wednesday and I was totally taken by how beautiful this place was. On top of a mountain in Saratoga overlooking Silicon valley. I wish I would have taken more pictures outside of the theater. The stage area itself is outstanding. Bands play right in front of the stone building winery. Not sure how many people this place sits. Maybe a couple thousand if that but every seat was fantastic. My brother somehow got passes to a meet and greet the band after the show and that was cool as well. During the concert no pics were allowed and they actually made me check my camera at the door. Had to use the phone camera to get these Band was great. As usual. Saw them 20 years ago in Hamilton, Ont and they were great then as well. Probably get flamed for Tears For Fears but what the hell. I love some of the 80's retro. They played lots of newer stuff as well. Anyway, beautiful place and a really suggest anyone(chef, wacka) who lives in this area check it out. Most of the bands there are older ones.
  23. Video was so lame it was good. Funny
