  1. John Murphy now repeating that Steve Tasker said (and what I said previously): What message does firing Rex (whether you like him or not) after less than two years (even though most successful Bills HC in past 17 years) to anyone else you might want to hire that is in demand?!? Me: Self-defeating.
  2. Maybe ... But Schefter report more than coincidental.
  3. Shady? Incognito? Wood? P.S. "We" really means some.
  4. New Era? Change coach after just a few years. Rinse. Repeat. Hmmmm. The "new" part is firing the most successful Bills HC coach in the past 17 years.
  5. Oh brother Doug was all in on hire. Revisionist history to suggest otherwise.
  6. Does this mean Rex got fired because he was going to play Tyrod rather than someone else?!? Did Rex negotiate that provision in that contract?
  7. Dear Doug: there is no other person on football side to throw under the bus. You are the last man standing. Good luck.
  8. Most coaches do NOT get fired under these circumstances.
  9. It is Christmas week not April 1
  10. I guess we will judge all future Bills coaches in less than two years and without considering: 1) whether he was the most successful Bills coach in past 17 years; 2) depth of injuries to key players and positions; 3) bottom half QB play for most part; 4) having to play street free agents; 5) suspensions. Hmmmm

  12. Wow. Hmmmm.
  13. Injuries, suspensions, and street free agents great recipe for success. Congratulations. You should be pleased. You got what you and others so obsessively wanted.
  14. I am judged every day by clients and judge people who work for me. I also judge fairly and take into consideration all factors without adopting a pathological obsession to fire someone etc.
  15. Playing with street free agents and without your best players at significant times (injuries and suspensions) is not what I would call a fair way to judge a guy.
  16. The Rex Haters here and in media had their pathogical obsession fulfilled. Congratulations. In this holiday season, I hope that you are not judged in your own jobs and life with the same pathological obsession . . . . P.S. Doug Whaley - you are the last man on the bus. There is no other person to throw under the bus. Good luck. Go Bills!
  17. I have no idea what to do with Gilmore. On the one hand, he has so much talent. On the other hand, can we trust him to give 100% effort once he gets his money given what we have seen this year?
  18. Thanks for fighting the good fight. It is very odd how some have made it their life's mission these past months to try to get Rex fired - a guy who has embraced Buffalo as no other before him and (I suspect) no other in the future. Has everything gone as I have wanted these past two years or 17? No. I just hope that those leading the pitchfork crowd are not judged in their own jobs with the pathological crusade and obsession that I have seen here. I still do not believe that Rex has been given enough time to be judged fairly given the injuries, suspensions etc. these past two years. I will just incorporate my prior posts on the subject and this one from the other day: "The Buffalo Bills lost to a very good team by 3 points in OT after fighting back to take the lead and having to overcome horrible refereeing and missed tackles. They fought back even though there were those (in the first half) who insinuated that the team was not with Rex. I knew that you would not disappoint and that you and the rest of the Rex Haters would try to use a 3 point loss to a good team in OT to carry on with your march to the Bastille. I still see no reason to blow up the coaching staff and rinse and repeat. I will continue to focus on the forest rather than the trees. My views have not changed. Two years (less than two years) is not enough time to fairly evaluate Rex - especially under the circumstances of these past two years. I am going to take the rest of this day off from arguing with the usual guys who seem to have made it their life's mission to have someone fired and enjoy my Christmas visit home to the City of Good Neighbors with my immediate and Buffalo family. In the meantime, to ALL of you who love Buffalo, the Buffalo Bills, and Buffalo Sabres (including the pitchfork crowd): Merry Christmas and God Bless."
  19. Based on what I always have heard from my Jets/Mets cousins, Mike F hates everything about the Jets. If you are a Jets fan, he is the guy you listen to when you want to get pissed off.

  21. Your fondness for the use of the word "crap" is ironic.
  22. jmc1229 this is for you.
  23. I know what a silver lining is. I also know that the haters are expert in finding the dark cloud in the silver lining. I also know that some of you haters would like nothing more than the Bills losing today or next week to fit your narrative. On to the Bastille . . . .
  24. I know what you guys want. You guys are already re-polishing your pitchforks. On to the Bastille.
