Shady is a special player.

Someone said it was "complete crap" when I commented that some of the Rex Haters would be hoping for a loss.

When one guy does not contain on a play one can hardly conclude that the entire team has quit on Rex unless you are just crusading.

No, I am not blaming "the fans." I am pointing out that the haters would complain either way. Nice try though.

The Bills are losing 7-0 at the end of the first quarter. If one is ever worried about being too optimistic about life, this board is a wonderful place to come and get depressed.

Some of those fans also would have complained if the Bills went for it and did not make it.

Is it me or didn't that look good from the end zone camera? I played it back a couple of times. Ugh.

That TD run is a good example of a player NOT tackling (rather than any problem with scheme).

It is sad isn't it. By the way, for those of you that are not hopeful, keep in mind that Marcell did not play in the first game and Shady hardly played.

Indeed. The point is that many of the crusaders will be hoping that the Dolphins or Jets win so that that they can use that against Rex. They do not want the Bills to have a 9-7 or 8-8 record because that mitigates their crusade.

I may be mistaken, but I do not think it was shown during the game (or at least the devastating angle). I did not know what had happened until after the game. I remember watching him on the ground and wondering what had happened.

I was at the game. I had no idea what had happened until I saw the replay after the game . . . and my view of the play was better than the players who were facing the other way. The players on the bench's view also would have been obstructed given the angle. Having said that, Landry was a piece of sh*t for doing it and I will not feel sorry for him if the Bills "give him the business" - to quote the ref from that Jim Kelly play.

AFC Offensive Player of the Week. Not too bad.

In the article, Lupica states: "On Wednesday morning, I asked my old friend Jerry Sullivan, a terrific columnist for The Buffalo News, just how dysfunctional the Bills are." That raises the following questions: Who knew Sully had any "friends" other than Bucky? Why would Lupica admit that he is a friend? What does that do to Lupica's credibility when he describes Sullen as "a terrific columnist"?

Indeed on both counts. I really hope that we do not allow him to hold us ransom. Every time he talks about going back to Real, I think we should accommodate him. To paraphrase, he plays when he wants to . . . . I have posted several posts on this subject. In short, I respectfully disagree that Rex has been given a fair chance if he is fired after just two years with the depth of injuries that we have had, the suspensions, substandard QB play. This is especially so given that he has been our most successful coach in 17 years. It would be self defeating to fire him for those reasons and the message that it would send to any prospective in demand candidates.

I think the Browns took DW to the cleaners and we could have traded less if we had waited them out. If not, I would have stuck to my guns and "settled" for OBJ or someone else.

I am not clamoring for getting rid of DW unless he is responsible for the leaks and/or throwing the head coach under the bus.
