  1. Because previous record was in a stadium that sat 80 000. Now pretty much at same amount of seasons in a stadium that sits slightly over 70 000. Won't be many left for individuals. Also, they will probably sell out every game, and they sell individuals at a higher price per ticket than seasons, so they actually would want to have individual game tickets to generate more money.
  2. according to national media, anyone that can walk away from Buffalo with a winning record is CoY candidate. I think he knew exactly what he was doing by starting Orton that last game, not thinking about the franchise at all.
  3. RUN, RUN, PASS, PUNT…. RUN, RUN, PASS, PUNT…. RUN, RUN, PASS, PUNT…. RUN, RUN, PASS, PUNT…. RUN, RUN, PASS, PUNT…. RUN, RUN, PASS, PUNT…. RUN, RUN, PASS, PUNT…. RUN, RUN, PASS, PUNT…. RUN, RUN, PASS, PUNT…. RUN, RUN, PASS, PUNT…. RUN, RUN, PASS, PUNT…. RUN, RUN, PASS, PUNT…. we lose
  4. Think the reno was pretty nice, but totally disappointed about the new video screen. I was at the game in Denver, and that screen is about the same size and was entirely used for FOOTBALL! The annoying amount of ads is very disappointing.
  5. Hey, people of BUFFALO, cheapest tickets in the NFL... Buy more season tickets and go to your games... I drive 200 miles ... No excuses! You're going to rely on regionalization, then that's what you're gonna get... No more of this 'they haven't made the playoffs in 14 years' or ''Ralph is bleeding us dry, he's cheap'... Cry cry cry... Next year when they sell seasons, step up and buy em up
  6. Out of curiosity, I checked to see what an Argo ticket would cost… again, ridiculous! That guy in the video said they were affordable… I watch the Bills for $26 bucks a game! ridiculous http://www.ticketmaster.ca/toronto-argonauts-vs-edmonton-eskimos-toronto-ontario-10-04-2014/event/10004C8994B15271?artistid=891711&majorcatid=10004&minorcatid=8&tm_link=artist_msg-0_10004C8994B15271
  7. Local Toronto news showing a dozen Argos fans burning Bon Jovi CD's in an attempt to show JBJ that they love their Argos and don't want the Bills or the NFL in Toronto…. http://www.cp24.com Most Toronto residents don't even realize that the Argos are actually playing regular season games right now
  8. Watch for a spike in Season ticket sales next year... Dallas and NYG are in town. AFC East foes, Indy (luck) and an AFC North foe (Pitt? Cle? rivalry starting?) If we have a half decent year with promise, look for numbers to far exceed 50K, lots of scalpers will be gobbling up season tickets….
  9. In the past when the bills would announce a sellout, they would be refering ton all non club seats being sold out. In almost all cases, individual game club seats could still be purchased for the sold out games, of which many go unsold (you see all those empty red seats on game day). People think the game is a sell out, go to stubhub and purchase overpriced seats at the same price as what club seats would have cost. Bills are upset as they're losing money and will make an emphasis to sell unsold club seats for individual games.
  10. A question about the Jacksonville sale a couple years back… It seems to be that they are somewhat similar situations. Both franchises play in an older, retrofitted stadium. A billionaire bought the Jags, and since have put some money into the stadium (new massive scoreboard). A would assume they have made some other upgrades around the stadium. Did Goodell put the pressure on them to build a new stadium during the ownership transition? Is anything in the works for a new stadium for the Jags? Their situation reminds me of what the Bills are going through with RWS and new ownership. I get somewhat demoralized by the constant, non relenting greed of the NFL who continues to leave no stone unturned with respect to bleeding everyone dry for what they feel is a privilege to attend an NFL football game.
  11. 2007 Season Pats @ Bills flexed to primetime on NBC Score was 35-7 at halftime, ended up 56 to 10 for the pats. They never took their foot off the pedal (I remember everyone ripping Bill Belichek for not easing up). Bills even had Kevin Everette give an emotional pep talk to the team/crowd.... no effect. Just an awful game and a long drive home.
  12. Last year I believe that the season ticket total was approx. 42.5K. Given the uncertainty over the qb, ownership issues, and the lack of a quality product on the field for years, those factors were huge contributors to the modest/low season ticket total last year. I was on the fence last year on whether I should renew, but I did. This year, I feel great having my seasons. I am excited because: -Despite the franchise being held in a 'trust', I personally feel that the Bills will be in Buffalo long term -The slate of games this year are looking great! The Minny and KC games to me are the only two that I might give up my tickets to, but all others look solid! -EJ has has an entire off season, and 5 preseason games to get ready. I am hoping that he makes the progression we're all hoping for. They've surrounded him with plenty of weapons! -Hardly any remnants of the old regime! Even Stevie (who I was on the fence with) is no longer with the team. Other than K. Williams and B. Morman, nothing with this team really reminds me of Jauron, Gayley, or even the terrible Marv years as GM. Much better outlook in my opinion. -They're trying to win now!!!! No more of this 'cash to the cap' crap and playing it conservative; they're going for it! Been a while since we've said that. -I cannot believe that two years ago, our starting WR's were SJ, Donald Jones, and David Nelson. Really, it boggles my mind. Hearing all that crap about DJ's potential, garbage!! Look at our crop now! Question marks certainly are there (MW transition to BLo and new offence, rookie receiver….) but hard not to get excited about the potential. -Spiller - Huge let down last year, but this is his contract year! If there ever was a time for this guy to put it all together (what was supposed to happen last year) this is it! -Spikes - How can you not love the fact that this nasty, seemingly always pissed up will be lining up in the middle! Nasty -Seems like they've drafted a bunch of O-Lineman with a chip on their shoulder…. I'm no expert, but from what I've read, I like the upside seeing that our head coach was an o lineman. I've seen the Bills play in 10 other NFL stadiums; the Ralph still tops my list. Buffalo has the most affordable tickets in the NFL. Seriously, season tickets for an NFL team for $260 bucks? That is a steal, and with the tailgating prior and parking in the satellite lots for $10, so affordable. Nothing compares to game day in Buffalo. I predict the season total to go to the high 40's this year, but next year with Dallas and the Giants coming to town, will top 50K again. GO BILLS!
  13. I want to see this defense to great things against New England next week. That would send me off into the off season on a real high. They were amazing yesterday, and they've shown flashes of great things this year... I would LOVE to see them knock Terrific Tom down, post 2-3 great sacks, and make his Sunday afternoon horrible. I know everyone is hoping for Manual to play and for him to show us something, but I really think that on the road, against that Pats, if that's what you're looking for you will be in for a huge let down. I hope he plays well, but regardless, if this defense can do something similar to yesterday on the road against the Pats, would be sweet...
  14. I was actually thinking the exact same thing today... This really has nothing to do with the Bills, I'm getting sick of the BS found in games... pass interference, protecting the quarterback, phantom calls, instant replay crap etc... Then when I saw Gronk go down, I thought to myself what is this league becoming? Over regulation is mucking the waters and bringing down the product... People now going low and ending careers by ripping a part knees.
  15. Man, with your formal complaint to the league about being disadvantaged facing so many teams coming off extended breaks... wouldn't a win today make you argument more plausible? Or how about a loss against the jet who were coming off a bye... Can this team get anything right?
  16. What can you say about the guy... he probably costs you two wins a year. I'm not saying that he is directly responsible for the loses, but his costly drops, fumbles, penalties really have had an effect on the team. He is a veteran, this should not be coming from a player like this!!!! This last fumble was simply inexcusable, especially at that point in the game. Chandler? What do we really expect from a guy clamed off wavers three years ago.... about what we got.
  17. If opposing fans come into the Ralph acting like @$$holes, then they deserve what they get. Family of four sitting quietly watching the game, let them watch the game in peace....
  18. I have to say, I've seen away fans at Bills game be super drunk and deserve the treatment they get. I just hate seeing a nice famly, bothering no one, getting harrassed... I was in lower level sideline seats, could only imagine whats going on in the rockpile and upper corners. And trust me, I'm fairly tuned up before the game, but just don't get the harassement some people feel entitled to dish out I've been to see bills games in Cleveland, Miami, KC, NE, Tenn, Chicago, SD, Det, Dallas, and I've experienced heckling (naturally), but never had the game ruined by opposing team fans. Hoping the trend continues when I fly into New Orleans for the game...
  19. In my lower bowl season tickets, and a nice gentlman sitting there with his buddy, bothering no one, wearing a panthers jersey, just enjoying the game. 5 losers in their early twenties, blitzed out of their mind, just harrassing him relentlessly, sitting just behind him. CLASSLESS. If we have oppossing fans being obnoxious, then they get what they deserve. But seeing this was infuriating. They all ended up being kicked out of the stadium for getting in a fight WITH OTHER BILLS FANS!!! I go to a Bills away game every year, and have never been treated like that in an oppossing stadium.
  20. I've never seen a sellout with attendance that low... typically about 69-70K for a sellout.... I saw a new standing area in the endzone, did they remove a bunch of seats in the stadium?
  21. I do remember that call, and I was livid that they called that as the NE defender initally had his hands in Urbik's face.... Brutal call. Even worse, the non calls on holding with the NE offensive line. Sure, their line looks great when they can hold anyone going past them as Brady scrambles....
  22. We have to filter out the national media, because if EJ has a few bumps early, just wait till all these guys predicting him as a 3rd-4th round pick chirping in with the "I told ya so", and they'll do this by only reading boxscores and watching a few highlights....
  23. problem it is the best game to be at and won't be selling those tickets...
  24. I see that either next year or the year after, Toronto is supposed to get one pre season game... either they'll put a team like Dallas or Pittsburgh there to draw something (and it'll be game three, the best one), or there will be a scheduling conflict and put back to Buffalo... Thank the Lord that regular season is here...
