  1. What can you say about the guy... he probably costs you two wins a year. I'm not saying that he is directly responsible for the loses, but his costly drops, fumbles, penalties really have had an effect on the team. He is a veteran, this should not be coming from a player like this!!!! This last fumble was simply inexcusable, especially at that point in the game. Chandler? What do we really expect from a guy clamed off wavers three years ago.... about what we got.
  2. If opposing fans come into the Ralph acting like @$$holes, then they deserve what they get. Family of four sitting quietly watching the game, let them watch the game in peace....
  3. I have to say, I've seen away fans at Bills game be super drunk and deserve the treatment they get. I just hate seeing a nice famly, bothering no one, getting harrassed... I was in lower level sideline seats, could only imagine whats going on in the rockpile and upper corners. And trust me, I'm fairly tuned up before the game, but just don't get the harassement some people feel entitled to dish out I've been to see bills games in Cleveland, Miami, KC, NE, Tenn, Chicago, SD, Det, Dallas, and I've experienced heckling (naturally), but never had the game ruined by opposing team fans. Hoping the trend continues when I fly into New Orleans for the game...
  4. In my lower bowl season tickets, and a nice gentlman sitting there with his buddy, bothering no one, wearing a panthers jersey, just enjoying the game. 5 losers in their early twenties, blitzed out of their mind, just harrassing him relentlessly, sitting just behind him. CLASSLESS. If we have oppossing fans being obnoxious, then they get what they deserve. But seeing this was infuriating. They all ended up being kicked out of the stadium for getting in a fight WITH OTHER BILLS FANS!!! I go to a Bills away game every year, and have never been treated like that in an oppossing stadium.
  5. I've never seen a sellout with attendance that low... typically about 69-70K for a sellout.... I saw a new standing area in the endzone, did they remove a bunch of seats in the stadium?
  6. I do remember that call, and I was livid that they called that as the NE defender initally had his hands in Urbik's face.... Brutal call. Even worse, the non calls on holding with the NE offensive line. Sure, their line looks great when they can hold anyone going past them as Brady scrambles....
  7. We have to filter out the national media, because if EJ has a few bumps early, just wait till all these guys predicting him as a 3rd-4th round pick chirping in with the "I told ya so", and they'll do this by only reading boxscores and watching a few highlights....
  8. problem it is the best game to be at and won't be selling those tickets...
  9. I see that either next year or the year after, Toronto is supposed to get one pre season game... either they'll put a team like Dallas or Pittsburgh there to draw something (and it'll be game three, the best one), or there will be a scheduling conflict and put back to Buffalo... Thank the Lord that regular season is here...
  10. I'm getting flashbacks of Jauron, a fired offensive coordinator, and Trent Edwards leading the no huddle....
  11. Seeing I work till 5.... I'd probably get to the game at about 9:00 given the bridge and traffic... so at that point, maybe I'd be lucky enough to see Torell Troup get pushed back 8 yards each running play?
  12. Man does that last pre season game hurt. If I lived anywhere close to the stadium, i wouldn't mind heading out to the stadium, a little tailgate, and relax and watch the soon to be cut/practice squad players.... But i'm not driving 3hrs for that. A a team promoting themselves as having a regional fanbase, this last game (especially the dreaded fourth PS game) hurts them... I actually re-upped my season tickets last year knowing that they were supposed to only have 1 pre season game, then got stuck with two (you da man Russ!) I ended up selling my $70 season tickets for $6 dollars each.... and I actually feel bad for ripping off the poor guy who bought them at that price. Don't think the Colts owener feels bad though...
  13. Marrone desperately needs EJ to step up, be a leader, and show that he can win in this league... Even with a few bumps along the way, everything will be better once quarterback is no longer a concern
  14. A magnet and a pin... and a letter saying that they're cracking down on having a good time at the game
  15. My feeling on the one pre season Toronto will take.... I hope that the one preseason game Toronto takes is this year... leaving only one this year actually in Buffalo that season ticket holders will have to purchase.. I have a feeling that the NFL will be moving to only two preseason games in the near future, might be even after this year (pure speculation on my part). With attendance down, one way of ensuring tickets get sold is to eliminate preseason games to drive up season ticket sales. The one thing that might stop me from renewing is 2 preseason games (i think its our year for the dreaded Lions 4th preseason game at home.....uggggg, flush 300 dollars down the toilet for my 4 tickets)
  16. Strong d and an offense that doesn't turn ball over and makes minimal mistakes... I anticipated a lot of wins like this one this year
  17. I was at the pats game, but had to leave in the fourth quarter to catch a flight... I was listening the the pats radio broadcast and their colour commentator was actually saying that the pats needed to knock one of our rbs out... Couldn't believe someone said that on record and on the radio, two biggest homers I have ever listened to... Might explain fan reaction
  18. Beautiful day!!! Nice fly by
  19. From the nose bleeds in Gillette, GO BILLS!!!! Def a lot less bills fans here than Cleveland, but fans were actually pretty cool here for the tailgate, they detest the jets though..,,
  20. I think that this Thursday night game is a big deal with respect to whether the city of buffalo can support an nfl franchise. I'm a season ticket holder, but can't make that game because of work schedule, and I'm sure that there are many people in the same boat as me. People in the buffalo area are going to have to sell that prime time game against a storied rival out, and if they can't, will lose a little faith with respect to the viability of the franchise... But there were lots of empty seats in the San Diego game last night.... Oh, and if Russ were to have dropped the sell out percentage, also would not have to worry....
  21. the browns must have held some tickets back and just released them. I picked some up. Probably about a hundred or so released, so if anyone is making the road trip, pick em up!
  22. I have an idea, why don't you and the rest of the RB superfans hang out outside his office so when he uses the facilities, you'll be there on demand to wipe his behind and stroke his......ego.....
  23. How can you not see how that would be a PR disaster? They refuse to take part in the 85% blackoout rule stating clearly that 5/6 games that were previously blacked out wouldn't have met that threshold... but a preseason game meets it and it would be blacked out? way to go wkbw And all the valued Season Ticket bull coming from his mouth, enough with that! (by the way, i do own 4 season's and paid for the PS games). This league is a TV DRIVEN LEAGUE, and when the new tv contracts role around, the effect will be doubled! Any team that is going to milk over 200 million dollars from the public should do whatever they can to give back to the community while they line their pockets. My elderly family members who were previous season ticket holders and don't have the energy to make it on game day... what about them? Guess its what have you done form me lately, right Russ
  24. This game is NOWHERE close to being a sell out.... go on ticketmaster and see the hundreds of tickets still available.... I think TM even withheld some. Reason: This game has sold over 85% of general seats, but is not a sell out. Think of how bad it would look, in the pre season, if a game that could of been televised under the new blackout policy, that the Bills rejected, was actually blacked out??? Would be a PR nightmare for RB! The bills will be buying up all those tickets to save face. Joe W, Totally agree with you... RB is sleezy... from TO crap, to blackout policy, to lease negotiations... to lying about the pre season game
  25. I've been there and sat in the upper level, you were really up high and looked down over the field. Very diff. then sitting at the Ralph in the upper deck... Picked up my ticks in the endzone sect. 144. Not the dog pound, didn't want to get harrassed all game
