Ted Johnson call Wilfork's wife "ugly"
frogger replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't know he married Natalie from facts of life. -
I'm not for the rule change only because its natural for big running backs to lower their heads, its what they are taught. I think its going to be something very difficult to call on the field as well. However, for those who think the game is changing in the wrong direction, understand the game changes every generation. Helmets, the forward pass et cetera...we'll still watch it regardless.

Maybe he would have benefited from this rule change...its about protecting athletes from drain bamage.

My ideal is super simple: Darius Heyward Bey-3 year deal, simple reason, our track record isn't good enough for him to want to come to buffalo for a 1 or 2 year deal. Karlos Dansby- 4 year deal, first 2 guaranteed. See above. These picks are based on cbssports predicted rounds. 1-Geno Smith-a QB that has played both in Miami and in the rust belt...worked last time. Something I have not heard but should be said, Smith's top WRs where smurfs, he didn't have a great OL and yet...better than 70% competition, when they knew he had to throw. Luck had two top olinemen and two TEs who have or will be drafted in the 2nd and a 3rd that would have been had he not gotten hurt. I like Geno. I'm not saying he's better than luck, I am saying he's worth the 8th. 2-Jonathan Banks CB- reason he could fall, 4.61 forty in Indy, he's one of the most physical corners, has long arms and could start opposite Gilmore. 3-Brian Winters, hoping for Justin Pugh. But Winters is not a bad substitute, will likely have to start at LG as a rookie. 4-Stedman Bailey-again, extremely unlikely, Smith's favorite redzone target, yes one of the smurfs, DHB and Stevie on the outside, Bailey and if he survives brad smith working the slots. 5-AJ Klein-ILB a back up to Dansby. 6 -Levine Toilolo-TE- remember what I said about the 3rd TE Luck had, due to injury concerns, this 6'8" 260 pound TE falls. Imagine a healthy Chandler and Toilolo on the field together, 6'7" and 6'8" Defense is a 3-4 M.Williams-Dareus-k.Williams Moats/Anderson(rush)-Nigel (weak)-Dansby-Lawson Corners are...Gilmore, Banks, (McKelvin, Brooks and Rodgers) SS-Aaron Williams FS-Byrd Just a hopeful thought

I know the Dolphins have been the "winner" of free agency in the AFC east so far... But, look at the contracts,if I'm not mistaken after year one they explode. Example, without checking and basing this only on what I've heard, mike Wallace counts for 3 million this year them year two 17! Clearly they hope the cap goes up more next year. Not to mention, they cut their best defensive player not named wake. I don't have to explain the jets, we are aware of all of their losses. The teams that have "won" will be cutting payroll next year, this is great for 2013, but hurts the remaining years. Remember how good the ravens were last year, I expect them to be drafting top ten in 14...the Dolphins might having a winning record next year, but they'll be in a similar situation soon.
-
Since we are really the one helping them, Flynn with their 6th for ours...or they can release him and get nothing.
-
I think its Aaron Williams for SS. I don't think its a need position. LB is...if we are going to run a 3-4 I think Harrison and of course regardless of system, Dansby. I don't value the guard position like some do, I think there is talent in the 3rd round to replace levitre. So give me Harrison and Dansby and a WR like DHB, combine cost maybe 12 million. Let me draft Smith, Ertz and Pugh, 3 starters on offense. I'll be very happy with this.
-
I love the idea of getting younger players who can learn and grow with the team, however what happens if they don't, we continue losing and search all over again for his replacement. Dansby would not be a stop gap, he would be a solid, possibly affordable addition. We've invested a great deal into this team getting Mario, he won't play forever, now is the time...its our time down here. Get good additions, I'd agree with that notion if we were drafting someone in that position in this year's first round. 3-4 with Anderson-Nigel-Dansby-Lawson at linebacker, looks good on paper...tall and fast.
-
He doesn't like the dolphins? I think we have to sign him now! Player's with chips, something we need.
-
He was released by the Dolphins, considered top of the LB free agency a couple of years ago...I'd be interested! 3-4 experience, I guess it was a surprise to him. come on buddy he played in the SEC, get em!

OG Chad Rinehart signs with Chargers

Do any of the current tackles, besides Glenn, have the ability to move to LG...could Hairston? -
Has anyone seen this team worse off than right now?
frogger replied to billsfan_34's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What have we lost? A replaceable QB, aging SS who might not fit this system, a very good LG and some depth. All replaceable. So yes! I like Manny Lawson, get a SS, draft a QB, draft a LG and we are better than we were. -

Justin pugh, Brian waters or Barret Jones in the 3rd. I like Jones because if we lose wood we have a center, I like Pugh because he can play tackle too. Waters would be my 3rd choice. -
I think Mario plays 5 tech in this 3-4, he's stated he doesn't like LOLB I don't believe Washington had any idea that RG3 would be that good prior to the beginning of that season. This is a new coach who will bring in a QB to win with or at the very least try.

Wonder if Mario had any influence?

Bill Polian talks Geno & Barkley
frogger replied to CarolinaBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do you think buffalo would trade up to get Geno? And what would it take? I like him, I believe he would have been the third QB taken last year. -
re-sign Levitre, He's never had any real history of injuries, so give him a long term contract, spead the money out. $$$$ McKelvin, I think he was much better in '12 than '11, that being said he will not get much attention, he would not be expensive. $$ McIntyre-heart of the special teams unit and good lead blocker $ Merriman- showed a little burst at the end, the hyprid will be needed. $ Sign Greg Jennings WR, there are reports suggesting he wants as much as 12 million a year, I can't see that happening he is almost 30 and coming off an injury. The Dolphins are no longer interested, one less team to bid against. This is our big splash Free agent. $$$$ Ben Watson TE, since we are not sure of Chandler's injury, had 500 yards for Cleveland last year, a good stop gap and 2nd TE/FB $$ Mike Devito DL, just cause he'll know the system. $ LaRon Landry SS, he's not getting the big money he might think he deserves...another system guy. $$ after waiting till training camp, pick up a vet CB and a Vet RB, whoever remains, the CB could push for time and I'd like to see Buffalo get a power back. Draft based on walterfootball.com's Mock 1-Geno Smith-This would be a good start to the draft, I rank him somewhere between Luck and Tannehill talant wise. you really can't argue with his numbers the last two years. They're just numbers why would you argue with them unless you are insane. 2-Manti "catfish" Ta'o, sure he isn't the fastest ILB in the draft, Burflict ran a horrible 40 time and he turned into a solid starter his rookie year. Ta'o is a safe pick here and solves a pressing need. 3-Khaseem Green OLB, Walter had us drafting Reed here, nothing against Reed, but LBs is more pressing, addressed TE with the signing of Watson. Greene is a Starter, Reed would be a 2nd TE or move TE 4-Vance McDonald TE, I know I said its not a position of need, But Vance can block better than Reed and gives us a 3rd TE with hands 5-Chase Thomas OLB-3 LBs in the draft, and all 3 might be our starters by years end. They had us drafting drafting Washington, I don't see that happening, his workout was fantastic. Thomas' wasn't. 6-Dustin Hopkins-FSU Kicker to go with our FSU punter, I think Lindell's time is almost up. any other positions will be addressed via late free agent pick ups. thats all

Anyone else think the questions for woods were in part about Barkley.

Cordarrelle Patterson - WR - Tennessee

I'd be okay with him in a trade down scenario. 8 is a little high, we are not the raiders. -
If you wrote that out word for word twice, then yes.

Not canty? Mike Williams does not belong on this list, if he was a 2nd or 3rd round pick he would have been considered good. He was just a bust. Tuten Reyes? Brandon spoon? -
Not sure if I actually have one, at this company I've found that being a friend to this family greatly increases your chances of moving up. I've been in this industry for 12+ years and have stalled, I'm using this as chance to remind them. While allowing him to feel a sense of pride that his daughter is held in high regard.

Sorry, I didn't read what I wrote and I'm using my phone to write (mistake). I train the majority of the new hires in central Florida, but of all of the trainers throughout the company (nationwide) I was selected. The owner is in his eighties, would you hand write a letter?
