  1. This is the reason for my excitement about opening in NY, biggest stage and by halftime they'll be chanting for tebow.
  2. Im a fan of Kendricks as well, NFL radio said he has a little polamalu in him, because of his ability to make blockers miss and get to the ball.
  3. I realize age is catching up with Wilson, though I feel he has at least 4 good years left and Byrd is going into his final year...I get that, but why not fill a need like linebacker, not sure if you recall but Barnett is up there in age and has a history of injuries. Sheppard has potential...but what's potential? Morrison played so well in jax that they over spent on some former Penn state linebacker. Yeah, we could say that about every position, but we are not in that position to do so.
  4. I think hightower will be there round two, but after drafting a classic underachiever in round one I will not see hightower drafted since I will have thrown my poor dog through my tv...and will be spending the weekend at the vet...thank you nix for hurting my dog
  5. Maybe we will invent a defense based on TCU's A 4-2-5, with three safeties. Otherwise I think it makes little sense to draft a position we already are strong at.
  6. I think trading down would be my dream. the tenth overall for clevelands 22nd, in the exchange the Browns also trade us there 2013 1st, 2012 3rd and we include a 4th this year and a 3rd next. (again dream) 22nd-Luke Kuechly slips (MLB not typically taken top 15) Ladies and gentlemen Dave's got his Zack Thomas, but with more size and quickness, Sheppard moves to Sam, which would be a good move. or Martin, Glenn et cetera 2-Josh Robinson CB, despite not playing top talent, I do feel he will be the 2nd or third best CB in the draft. Will stay on the hip of any WR in the NFL, at almost 200 pounds he has the strength to be physical. 3-Brian Quick WR-generally speaking everyone here at the stadium wall seems to like him. Tall athletic WR, who could become a good player, not there just yet. If Martin or Glenn are taken round one I would love to get Mychal Kendricks here. 3b-Orson Charles TE- muscled out move TE. Yes, DUI, but he didn't try to outrun police. see Riley Reiff. 4-Junior Hemingway- 6'1" 225 star of the Combine among WR, played at Michigan, good feet, tons of potential, but very raw. 5-Andrew Datko OT-a little high, I know, but I have seen my share of FSU games, Datko can play and the injury history is a concern but doesn't scare me away. a project, with lots of potential. 6-Ernest Owusu DE, 4.70 40, and 39 reps, played end in a 3-4 defense, and still got 4.5 sacks. 6'4" 275 lots of potential. BPA the rest of the way 2013- Cleveland has I believe the best chance at having the number one pick in next years draft. one of the hardest schedules and one of the weakest teams. If Fitz struggles we could find Buffalo drafting Barkley and getting a top LT with Buffalo's pick.
  7. Burfect, can be a very good "example" for a coach. Bringing him into a situation only to cut him, not for his play but his attitude, shows a young team that they won't take his or anyone's BS. I am not concern about his pot use, we were all 20 something on the cusp of becoming a millionaire, girls thrown at us from everywhere, trading goods and services for tattoos once, am I right? let it slide.
  8. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1144175-2012-nfl-mock-draft-pick-by-pick-predictions/page/11 A mock that has Buffalo taking the Player I'd like to see us get.
  9. In all honesty put Jenkins in the 2nd round spot or Robinson (if there) and you have a fantastic weekend. Chandler becomes a 2nd TE by week 4 Sheppard moves to sam, Chris White, Moats and Nielson will be a good training camp battle. I figure we'll keep 6 active. Manning is one of those juniors that left too early but could be a steal. I'm not sold on Mosley, but Hairston can start and I am sure there will be a Vet that gets cut and become a stop gap for Buffalo. outstanding, thanks for a good mock start to my day
  10. Trade down draft 1-Kuechly 2-mike Adams LT- highest ceiling of tackles with established skill set. 2b (from trade down)-josh Robinson cb 3-Quick WR, kiper has him as a 2nd I see him as a third
  11. it pains me but its true, the more talk about Buffalo potentially trading up to get Tannehill the better. though the idea of doing so sickens me. As I see it Buffalo sits in a rather pretty spot. the threat makes Miami trade up, later they find that he will not be ready for prime time for 3 years. Fast forward three years and they find they drafted JP Losman. Meanwhile they gave up the farm for him...2013 they pass on drafting a QB even if its Barkley, because franchise QB is already selected. Minn moves to 8, the browns select Blackmon, St Louis figures why not trade down a few more and get another pick or two...bingo, bango, Buffalo gets a REAL Franchise LT, giving them an elite O-line. or they stay at ten and get the ILB or WR or they trade, down pick up additional picks and draft Reiff or Martin, I'd be okay with any of the above.
  12. having signed RT Winston and LT Gaither, Rochester native Albert has become a back up or is going to be moved inside. I say bring him here, Gailey worked with him early in his career. Albert has been a solid player and would be an upgrade over Hairston. I think KC would entertain a 2012 4th and a 2013 conditional pick for him. Then rounds 1-3 Buffalo could address the skill positions.
  13. My concern with David is his size, we have safeties that are his size. Most scouts believe he's reached his max. that said, he's very talented and wouldn't be sad if he ends up in buffalo.
  14. I agree with PDaDdy, McKelvin does better when asked to play the ball and not the WR, he gets turned around in Man coverage. I honestly believe that this will be his break out year.
  15. All very good choices. Though I would take Gilmore over Kirkpatrick, I still feel both could be excellent CB. If both are on the board at 10, I would, without hesitation, attempt to trade down. Sanu would be a great pick in the 2nd round, a 6'2" WR who happened to catch 115 passes last year, runs a 4.41 40 time, has hands that are over ten inches (Jeffery's are a little larger)and has 33" arms. Size of the WR hands matter. My only concern is the board's reaction to drafting a guy named Mohamed. I dig Potter, a lot of people on this board seem to as well. 3rd is where he should go...don't believe the Draft Mags that have him going in the 5th. they also have Martin going top 15, I think he is an early 2nd round selection (martin)
  16. Another WR of quality prevents the safeties from moving into the box, leading to more rushing yards. Make the defense respond to us, not let's respond to the defense. Also, the gap between hairston and Reiff /Martin is smaller than the gap between Floyd and Jones.
  17. If he plays in buffalo he will start, Reiff is a better player than hairston...I still don't think he's worth 10th overall.
  18. The good news is there is a lot of quality middle round linebacker talent. I expect at least 3 drafted...we need a zack Thomas type, while our DL looks impressive, I'm afraid the race to the QB will result in running back slashing us to death.
  19. Come on you didn't address the linebacker position, worse mock ever
  20. I'd rather see Buffalo trade up in the draft, I've been thinking about this over the last few days, I'd rather trade up to get one of the elite players, as Bill Polian would say a game changer, i.e Justin Blackmon. We can get the LT in Bell, we can sign Linebackers to add depth (Wheeler, Fox, Sims-though I've seen conflicting information about him being a free agent) But can we find a WR that will make the impact that Justin Blackmon can year 1. I view him as a young Boldin with more speed and a can't miss, assuming we do draft him and with the addition on defense, I could see trading the tenth, next years first and a 3rd this year to move in front of the Rams, assuming the Browns or Tampa would be interested. 1-Blackmon 2-Janoris Jenkins-the Samuel situation may push him into the 2nd, the lions have interest in Samuels, which would allow them to address other needs in the first round...or Dennard instead, I think he is a Brandon Flowers type. 4-Nate Potter OT, if he last this long he will be a steal. 4-Audie Cole-ILB/OLB good in coverage and big enough to play the strongside. et cetera
  21. Buffalo picks Matt kalil, several trades, buffalo ends up at 8...I believe in this mock to move up 2 spots we give a 3rd.
  22. Way to do any research Rome....guard?!? Honestly, I've hated Rome since the moment I first heard him. Thank god for sirius, NFL radio isn't much better, but they talk football only and they would know he's one of the best centers in the NFL.
  23. Gravity can not contain his arms.
  24. In all, that would be a pretty amazing draft. Nate potter in the 5th would be a pretty great steal, along with Chapman. I have a feeling both will be starters someday. Chapman would make the team over troupe...my only concern, lack of LBs. In fantasy world, sign mcneill to a two year contract, get kuechly instead round one.
