  1. IF I HAD TWO OF THESE I MIGHT BE ABLE TO PLAY QB!
  2. For all the Sully haters you might enjoy this. Skip right to the 8:00 minute mark and listen until 9:30.
  3. +1 (see name ) I'm no Trent fan but during the game I was watching the receivers down field when Trent seemed to hold the ball too long and I didn't see anyone open. Now, if he had the confidence and accuracy he probably could have squeezed it in to someone. Trent is too quick to check down but our receivers are part of the problem.
  4. Just a guess but maybe there's more reading involved outside and more just reacting inside?
  5. I've seen plenty of Moorman jerseys at the stadium. No kidding. There's more than you'd think. But I see more Poz and Edwards jerseys than Moorman.
  6. Its in their audio vault so you can listen to it yourself here. It starts getting good around the 8 minute mark.
  7. 3? Why 3? It will only take the one lined up across from Cornell Green!
  8. Based on where it hit versus getting over the cross bar I think it was more in the 5 - 10 yards short range.
  9. We tried to get McNabb but, like Shanahan, he didn't want to come here. Its a bit of a catch-22. We have such a bad organization we can't get good FA's and coaches. And we can't get better BECAUSE we can't get them. We're going to have to get out of this mainly through the draft and hopefully Nix and Gailey have what it takes. Once (if) we get back to a winning organization, picking up some of those good players and coaches will get easier.
  10. You have to have success in the first direction before mis-directions will work. Just like for play-action passes to work you need to get the running game going first.
  11. The only positive I saw was less penalties. We obviously still need some players, starting with quarterback.
  12. This is the way I see it. This is basically Trent's last chance to prove he can be an NFL QB. So Chan says he's leading the pack in training camp and gives him plenty of playing time and coaching as well. He'll let him start these first 5 games to see what he can do. So far he's showing he's no different than last year. Assuming that continues I would throw in Brohm after the bye to see if he can play. You might think Gailey would put in Fitz since he had the majority of the wins last year. But this is Chan's first year so he doesn't HAVE to win in order to keep his job yet. So he gets the chance to see what Brohm can do and if we lose a lot (which seems likely) we end up with a better draft position next year and we know what we have at the QB position (looks like nothing to speak of).
  13. I think people are more concerned about how the weather will affect their tailgating than how it will affect the game. I'm no meteorologist and I don't even play one on TV. But watching the radar map makes me think we'll be getting the 60% side of the equation. To tailgating!
  14. One thing he doesn't have that TT did is a good OL. Oh, and Jim Kelly.
  15. I'm not sure this year, or those to come, will prove who is a better coach. The only thing that could be shown is that Chan is a better coach. Shanny has Snyder (and his money) for an owner and Chan has Ralph. So if Washington does better than the Bills then people will question whether it was just because they were able to buy better players. If Buffalo fares better then Chan will be given the credit. Regardless, it looks to me like Chan is the first good coach we've had here in a long time.
  16. Right. Like KD said, he left out the most important attribute, the ability to read defenses. I would also add quick decision making.
