  1. How did SF know? Lil Donte
  2. it could be as simple as Kyle getting to play next to a real DE if just for a game.
  3. ^this. BTW SNL's parody of him last night was great.
  4. The ESPN bobbleheads ranked Campbell as the #2 quarterback free agent. I liked his play in Oakland. Consider, the fact if the Bills cut Fitz before March 1st, I believe he may be at the bottom of prospective free agent Quarterbacks. I I would doubt anyone would sign Fitz with an eye on him being a starter. The tape like it or hate it on Campbell, looks better. As mentioned Campbell actually had a winning record in Oakland. Fitz will never get his to .500. Ever! Campbell will be pursued, and the Bills would be lucky to get his services, no matter how limited they are. If he's going to be an eventual clipboard holder, I'll take him His biggest negative IMO isn't his game. It's his ability to stay healthy (see eric wood).
  5. Can't think of a single reason for Fitz to ever suit up for the Bills again. I hope he's gone soon. It would seem the new HC would have his own plans, and Russ needs to sell some inventory too. Keeping Fitz around won't move anything forward.
  6. I'd take him over fritz any day. Your statement on the raiders dumping him ( bad move) and the outrageous palmer trade, got the HC fired. he was OK before his injury with the raiders.
  7. he also has a one week a year timeshare in Orlando. Crazy stuff.
  8. Agree. The attitude towards some ex Bills is crazy. And it never stops.Besides as crayonyz would say "he's an All Pro again this year" How many Bills made it? Zero. Bills fans get choked up when a Bill make's it to the pro bowl as an alternate. BFD! That's is how bad, decades of mediocrity (at best) Can make a conditioned response, for any ex-Bill who is actually playing in a super bowl. Talking smack as fans of a franchise that the rest of the NFL considers a joke. Show some class. It's just entertainment after all. Fire NIX Now
  9. The Bills new DC thought the Maybin signing was great when he coached him. Wait..........Huh........?
  10. I think you're right here. Is Mario worth his salary? No way. A improved, but just slightlyover a young Aaron Schobel IMO. revis would have the ability to be possibly be more bang for the buck. Since he maybe is at least top 3 at his position. No way the bean counters at OBD would even run the numbers on two over payed free agents. Too bad Nix could not fulfill his promise of building through the draft.
  11. 2 hand touch by 2020. It's in the cards. I wonder if Ali should have sued Ridell for their gloves. It's hard to defend the NFL at times, but this is crazy to say the least. Nothing more than a money grab. Like others, I had family die because they where employed by Bethlehem Steel. Payout? LOL
  12. Fitz at this point in his career, is maybe a 3 million a year back up for a habitual playoff team. Not bad money for a clip board holder. Then again his future employment will also depend on the offense his new team runs. He has no place on the Bills roster. I think the new regime will figure that out. His presence on the team has zero upside. For those that believe he could be a good mentor. Mentor what? He's a below average lifetime QB that never played even on a winning season. The Bills haven't even put a back up in to play in years. Except for having Gailey's pet from KC take a couple of snaps in 2011. The team needs new blood. Get the losing culture and stink off the team.
  13. Well, like him, tolerate him, whatever. SJ13 is a corporate employee on one of 32 franchises. Is he entitled to his opinion? Absolutely. Should he make his opinion on say resigning Byrd public? Probably not something his employer wants, but it is the digital age. SJ13 tweets, etc. would carry a lot more weight (even get national attention) if he was close to a pro bowl player, or even a clutch receiver. Which he is not. Yes, he put up 3 one thousand yard seasons. In an age where it's no longer the milestone it was even in Andre's era. He puts these numbers up when really he is his QB's first target, based on his uncanny skill of getting open without speed.. The Donald's would be buried on playoff teams depth charts if even that. However, the Bills start players like that. SJ13 has no peer on a pathetic wide receiver corp.He is tough, plays hurt, and man he would be a great permanent slot receiver, if the Bills could find anyone even close to a clutch, fast, skilled wide out. That player is not on the roster. TJ Graham IMO showed little sign of the light turning on in his rookie year. To date,He is simply a player in Nix's list of draft busts. I'm happy SJ13 is a Bill for the future. He has a place on the team. But, he also loves to hear himself talk. Nothing wrong with that But, he is a player on a team who hasn't even come close to sniff even .500 ball. he has never once taken a game and put it on his back and taken it over, or Heaven forbid won it. It's not because he never had the chances either. His words thoughts, endorsements of his losing QB , whatever ring a little hollow. Because outside of WNY he is no big deal. It's nice to see some fans passionately back him though. He is one of only a couple players on the team worth watching play on game days.Him saying he would like some competition at qb is stating the obvious. Is that even news? I personally like players who do their talking on the field, and in the playoffs. Watching all of this years playoff teams showed me just how far away the Bills are from being relevant in the league.
  14. teeny bop, terrible, mainstream, run of the mill pop music, and the family's Morman faith (not that there's anything wrong with it) always kept a lot of guys away. I was one of them.
  15. Hard to argue that.
  16. I view Rice's comments as backing Browns, let's say theory. Again why wait 10 years and 2 weeks before a super bowl, and oh HOF voting to bring it up. Sounds like T. Brown has something up his butt and this accusation has the potential to make him look like a fool. Rice to my knowledge does not embellish nor add any actual fact. He's simply backing his friend, and maybe not for the right reason. I'd love to know why Gannon has never spoke of this? Being the QB and all. Also, Chucky has been on record noticing that the Raiders were still using his offensive playbook during the game. IMO it's the big reason he won. Does that constitute throwing a game that most head coaches never make it too? Plus good ole Al Davis had plenty to say back in those days. Brown should shut his piehole, because in the end he's going to look like a tool. Rice has his legacy in place before he ever signed with the Raiders. But if for some reason it's true. Well the NFL is over. Vegas doesn't like that sort of thing. A coverup of biblical proportions would have had to take place at the league offices. Making spygate look like a walk in the park.
  17. I'm confused now. But was Losman> RJ>Trent? My thought is when you're talking suck. Who cares who sucked more or less?
  18. Unless your name is Jerry, Al, or Ralph among others.
  19. Yep, thats what rice said. He is using a hypothetical because his impression of Callahan not liking him would want to lose a super bowl? Hard to understand. Brown and Rice were close on that team. Rice waqs a role player at that point. In fact being to busy to look it up I do believe it was Rice's first year on the Raiders. When your center goes AWOL I do believe there is some changing of the game plan no matter how subtle. BTW how come it took years, and 12 days before a super bowl for this BS to come to light. If Brown had ANY concrete proof his book deal would have been in the millions. I love this thread as it's right up there with Kelly and Thurman buying the team 3 weeks ago.
  20. Well I listened to Rice live and stand by my opinion of what he said. PFT I could care less about. Jerry Rice on the tube, again is what I heard. The center was a confirmed mental health candidate for diagnosed reasons. let's all go watch a Bond movie, for some conspiracy debates because Callahan did not throw the game. Period. Everyone loves them some attention. Sounds like Brown living deep in obscurity is trying to buy himself another 15 minutes
  21. Isn't that the game when the raiders center went AWOL a couple of days before the super bowl? Rice could not say with any certainty that Brown is correct. Rice also mentioned that Callahan did not like him. So I got no impression that Rice buys into the BS that Brown is spouting. Apparently others here may have read his comments differently.
  22. As much as I criticize Brandon and the complete failure of the franchise, since he was hired. There probably is more than just scouting going on down there. Most likely there are plenty of executives, doing mutual ball washing, possibly setting trades, move ups, etc. Besides at this point I wouldn't allow Nix to be down there on his own. He sucks as a Bills GM. Look at his record, hires, and drafts for proof. I would have him on a short leash, at this point. In fact why is he still employed for the Bills?
  23. A QB change is mandatory. Brandon team president and marketing extraordinaire knows this.Unless he's comfortable losing ST holders at a even bigger rate. he needs to direct the GM to grab a FA, trade, or draft a new QB. Funny ESPN reports that behind Flaco who isn't going anywhere. T. Jackson is the #2 rated QB free agent. lol, Can't see a lot of fan interest with Fitz trying to toss the pigskin another year.
  24. Yea, but there's a downside to his game too. And, the Funny thing is Reverend lewis looks like a stud next to Reed. The 9ers will exploit the crap out of those two has beens.
