It's In Philly, Not Buffalo
Best Player Available replied to DallasBillsFan1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Like I mentioned his doubters will find out he is not a one trick pony. Witness, his ability to put the brakes on in the second half. Sure the skins came back. But Kelly got the win. To him that's all that counts. If you have watched every Ducks game (I was forced too I lived there for 4 years) the guy can flat out coach. Currently they have the longest win streak on the road in the NCAA. This is no fluke. I like Marrone, but perhaps Brandon should have interviewed Kelly longer than 20 minutes. He is the current innovator of the hurry up offense not Marrone. -

The pac12 had game tape on Kelly's offense for years. How did that turn out? Sure they lost a couple of games a year. But, other than Stanford's front 4 no one stopped them (last season). This year without him the ducks still using his system are averaging around 60 points a game. Kelly is not a one trick pony as his doubters will learn. -
Russ Brandon should be fired

Agreed, spelling on a football fan board needs to be cleaned up. And people need to quit calling each other Tuels too. -
SJ13's pre and post game comments, including ducking out on reporters in the locker room (against league policy?) Have hit ESPN. He really doesn't help his cause. Maybe, he has a inferiority complex being a 7th rounder? Who knows but other than his fans that feel he can do no wrong. Most, laugh at him if they've even heard of him outside of Bills nation. Maybe, he will learn to shut up and play the game. His excuse for the drop? "It was tougher than it looked." This drop would nave had no wheels if he hadn't popped off during game week. Really, he does this to himself every time. Seriously,he needs a publicist. Look for him on Dancing with the stars in 2018. Because that will be the highlight of his post football career.

This caper sounds like Nick Dangerfield needs to be called in. "If you lived here you would be home already" -
A Fan falls to his death in San Francisco

Flasks? We brought those, 6 packs, and fifths of Crown during the super bowl years at Rich. No in plain view of course. In 66-67 at the rockpile some fans would toss full beers at the players when they were headed for the tunnel after a loss. -
Hurry Up Offense at the End of a Game
Best Player Available replied to Storm Front's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
True, Subway has to get their $5 footlong deal message out too the masses. -
They should have huddled in the 4th, and ate some clock. The D was gassed but held on, and the play calling was unimaginative. In particular the way they used Spiller. But, it was game one and they almost pulled it off. Had they done it, it would have been huge for the team, not too mention long suffering fans.

Leodis McKelvin is great, Kiko Alonso sucks
Best Player Available replied to jumbalaya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree except for few plays that happen every game. The DT's were quiet. Kyle had a sack, Dareus made one nice crushing run stop.Today The Bills gave up 10 more yards running, than their 2012 average. I don't see the killer play this line should be playing at. Maybe next week. Kiko is the least of the D's problems. Leonard was serviceable but looked winded in the 4th. 3 and outs will do that. -
Let's turn to Carolina... a few thoughts
Best Player Available replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let's turn to Carolina Yes, let's buy some dam tickets people! Cheers, Russ -
I for one am satisfied with this close loss. I expected a blow out. I saw a Rookie QB who didn't wilt. I saw a better defense but the usual big names were somewhat absent in run defense. Kiko is going to be a very serviceable player, Carrington sucked (I was hoping for him to block the game winning FG). Mario put some pressure on Brady but really doesn't come close to his pay grade performance wise. WTF is up with McKelvin? He looked like a professional cornerback give or take a few plays. Hughes? Meh. Searcy looked well OKAY! Fed-Ex may end up winning his starting job back , unless Marrone can figure out how to use CJ. But, even with pedestrian numbers EJ was showing he can do this NFL football thingy.

Let's Hope Woods pans out. The Bills really need a clutch #1 receiver. One that backups trash talk (although Woods doesn't seem like a Look at me type player), with actual play on the field. SJ13 is not clutch he proved it once again on the field today. when a big catch was needed he dropped it. Those darn passes that hit you in the hands are tough. Maybe Fred can teach him how to hold on? But, let's celebrate his TD in double coverage. And focus on his positive play. he did make 3 catches today.

Obviously, the "Doc" moniker has no reference to your actual education. You never fail to amaze.Between the unsubstantiated rumors, then the eventual back peddling when pressed for your "source". Which always turns out to be a "poster who I trust". It's sad that WEO hasn't been posting to keep you on the straight and narrow. I'll stop, because you are flat out wrong as always. Find a new player to piss on, this hate fest is getting old.

What are we eating tomorrow?
Best Player Available replied to todzilla's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just got in today in the BIG-B. Tomorrow it will be hops and barley washed down by Belvedere Vodka. NO SUGAR. means NO hangover. Well sometimes. Some wings and Pizza from Tony's on Harlem. Of course an Imperial (or 2) with Mayo from Lunettas on Cleveland. Maybe a turkey sub carved off the bird for the plane ride back. Cherry stone clams on Niagara and were out of here on the red eye Tomorrow night. Did MOFOS open at the Ralph yet? -

TG & his twitter battles continue
Best Player Available replied to The Poojer's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Wondering what a cub reporter for the snooze makes per year? can't be anything significant judging by the content of his "reporting". This guy is an embarrassment to professional sports writers everywhere. The twitter stuff is off the charts juvenile. He treats people like he's actually accomplished something in sports journalism. I don't see it, but as the AFCE blogger he once was he was readable then. Talk about letting a gig get to your head. -
I'm impressed with your level headed objective comment on the way the situation stands, from the both coaches and players perspective. There's a lot of BS in this thread by some who are clueless how a locker room or team operates. Byrd is a professional for the one's that are naive enough to believe he's "faking" injuries, a "cancer" clearly those have never negotiated an employment contract. Or are happy with whatever bossman pays you in whatever career you've chosen.

Patriots roster looks weak
Best Player Available replied to billsfan_34's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wouldn't it be easier to dust off the 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 "Patriots roster looks weak threads"? Then again there will come a time they go in decline, but probably they will have a winning season and contend yet again this season. -
Predictions - Bills v. New England*
Best Player Available replied to The Senator's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
maybe you weren't around for it. First it was a true rivalry, It was intense, Not just a superstar QB owning the Bills for a decade. And, the Bills lost many very close games during that decade. Painful hard fought losses, as opposed to the game being over in the first quarter. -
Predictions - Bills v. New England*
Best Player Available replied to The Senator's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I doubt it will be a tie. past that I wouldn't bet a dollar on the game. The Bills win if the emotion of a packed house, new coach and untested players can pull it off. few players even understand the rivalry though. Even though the pats rivalry comes no where near the fish rivalry/games/losses of the 70's. But, a win would give a lot of these young players a sense of what Buffalo Bills football, and their fans are all about. It would be interesting to know what marrone has tacked to the bulletin board for motivation. That said a complete blow out from the pats* shouldn't be that big of a surprise. -
Cleveland Kidnapper Ariel Castro dead
Best Player Available replied to Just Jack's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Good point. I just cannot believe anyone could steal 10 years from 3 peoples lives, torture them and show no remorse. And, his daughter that was brought into the world from raping his captors has one hell of a learning curve ahead of her. I hope those 3 young Women can truly get on with their lives. On the surface they seem to be coping but who Knows. It must be hard even as free people now to move forward. really, in a week his name will be forgotten. Once the 24 hour news cycle drops his suicide to the back page.
