  1. Harbaugh isn't going anywhere. More espn gibberish. he wants to be paid like a SB winning coach. he has a year left. They negotiated then said we will wait until the end of this season. Actually Harbaugh wanted to get on with the business of football not money talk.End of story. Didn't even read the link didn't have too. All is well in niner country.
  2. Making excuses for Mario while I understand what you are saying certainly plays right into the lack of leadership, accountability thing were talking about. What kind of example is he sending to younger players? Worry about yourself first? And compare that to Freddy who plays ball out no matter if eliminated from the playoffs or down by 20 right until the final gun. Thats the difference between sucking for 14+ years and being a perennial play off team.
  3. He does exist, and Wood years ago told Maybin what he thought of him. i would say there are several actually.Another being Kyle Williams. But in a sense there is no accountability. i have seen the 100 million dollar man just go through the motions the last two games in 2012. Not being able to close out games for years now has been for the most part the QB carousel. meaning they all have sucked, except for a game or two each year. Until there is a bona fide QB who can do just that. then maybe the rest of the team will decide that it is indeed worth playing all 60 minutes. Apparently the current starter will get another season to figure it out if i am reading the pulse of this board correctly. So, the honeymoon easily goes into next year in Bills country at that position. i wish Jimbo was healthy enough to get in his face this preseason at camp and tell him what it takes to be a leader. I don't see it yet
  4. so maybe trade CJ and Fred-EX? Throw in a draft pick and the hoody* would trade Mallet to us. My idea would be keep everyone and try to at least win 7 games this season. Which would be considered a good season in these parts.
  5. From a thread a couple of weeks ago on the stadium wall From a thread a couple of weeks ago on the stadium wall
  6. I don't know but is this content copyrighted? I heard Tom Waits is looking for some lyrics.
  7. years ago We had the pleasure of sitting at a bar in Maui with weird Al and his wife, while waiting for a table. While not throwing out zingers constantly he was fun, and best of all low key. he would be great at halftime and right now he is amazingly riding the crest of the wave popularity wise. he would probably be two or three years out for the booking though.
  8. Well, one of them is GOLDMEMBER. I cannot divulge my source for obvious reasons.
  9. 12th man followed by bruuuuuuuuce. The 12th man made it intolerable for the visiting team, and that was no secret.
  10. In 2015 the team may get all three candidates/player you ask for. Possibly more, just no feeling of a playoff caliber QB or OC on the roster today. The special teams coach might be in the NFL if not for Marrone and the cronyism. One month to go before bullets fly. But, the other skill positions look ready to go though.
  11. Ole Bullhorn Williams showed some pre season passion.
  12. i cannot even wrap my head around this kind if behavior. 40 years if convicted? It should be life without parole. With every second of it spent in general population.
  13. Where did I say it did? i said for me buying onto QB's drafted by the bIlls post Edwards failure is not an option for me. the bIlls suck at evaluating QB's and Buddy Nix has his stamp on the past two starters. Including the reach that is EJ. That aught to keep ya thinkin for awhile. maybe even enlightening!
  14. No tears shed here. You got to think he was offered a deal to purchase his party pics? legal or not if those are The real deal, well 'dem cowboys might bon Jovi's next target. being friends and all it should be a smooth deal. Sorry Jerrah you deserve this if it's real!
  15. Great post. I agree with this. My homer QB blinders came off for good after the Trent Edwards debacle. The Bills seem to not only be able to draft top QB talent. Even worse they do not know,as hard as they do try, to develop QB talent. It appears evident yet again. Coming into the season with the same 3 unseasoned QB's is proof. has anyone to date except the rare good play and of course his now certified masterpiece the Carolina game of 2013 seen anything thay says EJ will become not only a passable QB but one who can go deep into the playoffs and be a force? For me and the people I watch games with it is an unanimous no. So keeping fingers crossed he can go all 16 games. next offseasons mantra is already written. It will be he only has 26 games under his belt. But, new ownership may be the best thing to clear this mess up. This is my opinion so lighten up on the inevitable personal attack. Like everyone I am waiting to see the kid go out and kick butt. It may never happen. lets hope Watkins is a patient kid, it may be awhile.
  16. Florio,on,PFT reported the J BJ bid REJECTED. To vague, and not enough cash. Try again!!!!
  17. Wasn't the coke thing quite a few years ago? i am not advocating getting him, but be it second third or fourth stringers. in his rookie year in his first pre season game he started the second half and had 5 consecutive TD drives a NFL record even if pre season. but some of the late round picks this year would have been a little more desirable. he ain't no Joe Montana. have buddy put the peanut boiler down, and take the hoody* out for drinks and offer him our first round pick next year.......... Buddy knows QB's.
  18. It would have been nice but he didn't go in as a Bill. So???
  19. If Mallett sees himself as a starter. And most likely he does. They will have a very hard time keeping him when his rookie contract expires, Right now the pats* no matter how it's structured have a lot of money invested in that position. Ditto with Cousins when his contract expires. I Can see them trying to get something for him today.
  20. Good points. Something tells me Littmann's parachute will make him a very, very wealthy man after the sale is completed. I doubt he is hurting today. But, it's Doubtful even in the slim event he would be retained, he would want to be. That, Could be true for Mary Owen's interest in remaining with the franchise after the sale too.
  21. Love how you put words in peoples mouth, or better yet seem unaware of the discussion. Did he have it in tampa? Do I need to go on?
  22. Okay, I agree. but EJ problems may be deeper than game knowledge. he simply may not have the IT factor. or as you state not as much of a natural QB.
  23. Honestly, i don't remotely see the comparison to Flutie. Flutie always had a knack of making something out of nothing. And sometimes that was with his legs. he never quit until the whistle. his will to win was always evident. maybe it was because he always was having to prove himself. I don't see that with EJ at all. he try's, and obviously wants to succeed but again I think the comparison is a bad one.
  24. "unnecessary fear"? Of what? Come on it's a game. if you're a relative I am sure you would be up to date. Hairston, had no reports last year. Why, should fans of a football team need to know, well anything non football Injury related about a player?
