  1. Is this post a joke? Recruiting FA's because of "Flexing our passion" and get togethers on the road, with parties the night before, etc. How many quality FA's or guys playing out their rookie contracts, have signed because of any of the above? Sure once in a great while a player will say how loud it is in the stadium, fan passion, etc. That's a standard response heard anywhere in every major sport. Once in awhile a FA will land it Buffalo because the Bills must overpay him. (#94 perfect example) Not because of social media videos of tools jumping on burning tables
  2. A nod is as good as a wink too a blind horse...
  3. You can tune a piano. But you can't tune a fish...
  4. So where would money be better spent elsewhere be? Burning a 1st round pick on yet another receiver and let the guy play out his rook contract. Then repeat? Sign and overpay for a free agent #1 who is either old or having injury issues? Sammy is 24 and will light it up on the right team. The "enlightner" posts are comical but please continue when you're not lifting weights. This is why the Bills just spin their wheels. Maybe the new regime will change this. Based on the offseason moves and what appears too be limited FO support. Most likely Sammy will be gone. If so I hope he goes too the Packers. And achieves his potential.
  5. Something this HHHuuuuugge ahould have a video link. Why not post it up.
  6. An example of a good "capologist" was Carmen Policy with the 49ers. He managed in the first year(s) of the cap to get the team chock full of great players under the cap. There may have been other guys in pro sports. But he sticks out as one of the first. It was more than creative thinking that made him kind of legendary in the early cap years. His job was to get the highest paid team in the league without gutting it. He did that with amazing and deadly money skills. I would imagine that Overdorf's job role with the Bills even in this modern NFL and too some extent easier job. With up front signing bonuses, and whatever other tools they have now. Like someone else mentioned. The Bills have no superstar QB, LG, receiver, etc. and let good corners walk after their rookie contracts. My guess is because of very poor cap management. This is a medicore team on their best day. Yet this year they are against the wall. And let IMO serviceable and players they drafted go. This year Being Robert Woods, and Gilmore. Remember Whaley declaring "we will build through the draft" But yea for the Bills and right now some OBD jobs seem too have poor definitions. Too include Mcd and Beane. Going off topic the belief that Gilmore sux because he cannot or won't tackle. I suggest too those that hold that view too watch some neon dion tape. One can only hope the new regime sees, understands and develops talent with room for the eventual 20 M+ QB they will have too pay. And have Overdorf for now on a very short leash.
  7. I believe this too be the correct definition of overdorf's job. A Gm may say sign him. It is his job to get it right. He has not. Fire him. They said the same crap about Whaley. No?
  8. Can he play right tackle?
  9. This pats game would be great after watching "the Hank Bullough era" boxset.
  10. How old are you?
  11. From what I see Bob Woods blocking skills have not been replaced by any of the second/third rate replacement scrubs brought in. Woods blocking was not recoginized by a lot of people. They will be missed. As far as Jones he needs to play a season to gauge his NFL game.
  12. Is this talk about the same JP Losman QB of the Las Vegas Locomotives? The guy that lead them too a championship in the leagues first season? What an electric QB he was there. lol. i'll bet the locomotives trophy (a repurposed amateur league bowling trophy) still means a lot too him. In the end he was drafted by the Bills, and is just a data point in a very long string of QB failure. My Buddy's nieces in Buffalo said when he was in Buffalo. He was pretty popular with the girls in the Elmwood Ave. bars. He had fun. He even had his moments on the field. Too bad you can count them on one hand.
  13. Ruvel Martin is still available........... sorry
  14. Wow didn't know that! But, it does answer the question. Why don't publix Sahlens tatse as good grilled.
  15. I was there. It was an amazing game. When the Bills came out for pre game warmups. Most of the niner fans were still outside eating their cheese. The Bills fans were loud. Bruce did a lap around the field holding his helmet high. It was great. Postgame near the Bills busses a fence was up and a couple thousand fans were going nuts when they boarded the busses. What a game, team and era. You just woke up expecting them too win every Sunday. Well except for the last game of the year.......
  16. It's a poor plan then. Solves nothing long term. His next deal will be a short one. Then If he produces at his age he will want big bucks. Doesn't seem too fit McBean's vision.
  17. Maybe they could convert Fred too Fullback. Too round out the roster.
  18. Even that is a huge price. But he should have 4 good years left. Him and #14 would be nice.
  19. Fred--- Is a class act. Duh! And along with Kyle was always the guy who gave 100%. He was fun too watch and for awhile a huge part of an anemic offense. Him getting cut the way he did was the Bills way. The FO saying one thing then doing another. And pissed off a lot of fans when he was cut. I don't know if he even makes it too the Wall. But if he does I will be there. Fred you got a business in Buffalo. You are respected and playing in Buffalo showed what a determined person can accomplish. Sign a one day contract. And reitre a Bill. You have nothing left too prove. Certainly not too your fans.
  20. That sucks! Everytime I am in town I took advantage of their 20% sale on everything on Saturday mornings. It was great. Cheap vinyl galore
  21. Out of curisoity. What are Listenbee's NFL records and injury history? Is he really a big talent cut?
  22. Great news. It would be nice if they had space to lock him up for 2-3 years.......... Now all that needs too happen is for Sammy to go too a "good feets" store in Florida and this mofo is on.
  23. I don't remember the whole story too lazy too see if it's on the internet tubes. But when his parents divorced his Dad moved too Pittsburgh. I forget how much time Grong or his brothers spent there.
