  1. Well he is correct and seems to have likely either played or coached the game called tackle football at some level the way his posts read today atleast. Or maybe he's just studied the game more than the average Joe. IDK 1st I've seen of him really
  2. you need to post more...
  3. those picks are run constantly by all the "elite" teams
  4. D was fabulous...No pressure was possible with the quick throws being utilized. Went down the field deep once and got picked. Completed one other mid range pass.
  5. Nope that wasnt it. Lots of those pass plays were well designed movement plays to the backs (evidenced by FJ's 10 catches) and were effectivielty running plays. They were also down 21-3 so....
  6. pssstStop replying (after this post lol) and the nonsense will quickly flow to page 2
  7. You you fool Mario has been dominant. D has stopped the run consistently all day. A few short yeardage TDs means zilch
  8. Completely untrue about Mario and about stopping the run. You are clearly not watching
  9. Theres our average D again! LMAO
  10. Bills likely aren't going to win this game but any saying our D is not legit is beyond blind.
  11. Can't believe the call vs. Robey. He played it perfect
  12. Proof that he was once capable in a different system? Yes... Certainly it's odd though
  13. "So then why was he traded for? And why was Bryce Brown traded for? Is the failure on the pro personnel evaluation side, or the coaching/utilization of assets side?" a 6th rounder is a flyer, and Doug knew him from SU. You've got to swing in this leaqgue in order to get a hit, but the batting percentage is never going to be 1000%. Bryce Brown has plenty of talent. I have no issues with him other than his fumble in the KC game.
  14. LOL I thought the same. It was a nice try though... The odds are certainly against EJ ever becoming a QB with that "twitch" that makes it all work but he's not finished to RG3's level. He's a bright kid and working his ass off.
  15. Pretty sure the "on the field" portion of why MW isn't getting playing time has to do with his route running versatility (or lack thereof). I don't try to speculate about the "off the field" portion. We can think these coaches/gm are all clowns who don't know how to rate their own players til the cows come home but it's just not the case (for ANY team not just the Bills) in the NFL. Just like the player talent level amongst the 32 teams, the knowledge and coaching abilities of NFL staffs are much the same with only minor differences in levels of competence. Do these guys make mistakes? Sure they do...But rest assured if MW was good enough (as a complete WR) to get more playing time, he would get it eventually.
  16. Glad to see the recognition, his play has been off the charts.
  17. Exactly, and Petine also noted that in their film e v a l it was clear the Bills were playing more of a base D with lots of backup players. Another Fact. This JF thing has overcome even some of the most reasonable football fans. I wish I had more disposable income cuz I'd lay down good money that the guy will never amount to anything significant as an NFL QB. Watch out kids! It's another scramble bomb to Mike Evans!
  18. I would agree but my point in there (maybe I wasn't clear enough) is that they didn't know at the time that Urbick was better.... And they liked what they were seeing from the new kid in practice and gave him a shot.... thinking he was on the same level as Urbick. Then that didn't pan out.
  19. when there is no #2 option at Center and (at the time) you feel you have another player who may be on equal ground with your only back up option, I can certainly see why ANY team would do it that way. Thus the real issue is that Richardson didnt develop on the fly the way they had hoped. Center can be argued to be the 2nd most crucial position on an offense, with the line calls and adjustments involved and such. I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss this. JMO
  20. Pretty sure it is ... can't be 100% certain though Early on in the process ( the line starting to struggle after game 2 or so) this was a factor mentioned by both Marrone and Chris Brown. Then it appeared they wanted to give Richardson some time in there to see if he could develop at least to a serviceable level, and then that failed. Maybe some indecision followed that until the move was finally made. The delay may have been also affected by the fact that Urbick is not Doug's "guy"/
  21. Urbick was on the bench because he is the only Lineman not named Wood with experience at Center. The team finally apparently decided the risk was worth it (once the young guys clearly werent advancing quick enough) and put him in at G. Not saying the timing was good or poor, just stating the reason.
  22. THIS ^^^^ All I will add (not saying this is your opinion KTG) is that the lack of going for it earlier in certain games was not the "no brainer" that fans and football math guys believe it to be. There are 2 to 3 obvious variables we all can look at in these situations, and there are always a number of other variables that we don't know about or think about (injuries, no push at guard, etc. etc.)
  23. Yeah it's espn radio but once 3:00 rolls around it's local and Bills oriented even though it's still "ESPN Radio"... Just want to clarify in case others want to check it out. To me anything is better than the WGR option from 3 to 6 (or 7 as it were)
