I have to disagree w/ your take on the Scupper's food. I happen to think they have outstanding food. Their cream of crab soup is the finest I've tasted in the area, and I love their scallops (my favorite seafood item and a MUST if I go out for seafood), which are not breaded or batter fried.

I haven't been to Mo's in a while. The last time I was there was for a co-worker's promotion dinner. They had the buffet spread out for us, and they had a live band playing that was pretty decent. One of the guys who was upstairs where our party was got up from his table (where he and a lady friend were dining), took the guitar from one of the musicians who was playing while wandering through the crowd, and started jamming! It was a nice time.

Try this, Simon. My wife and I have an agreement in place for when we finally get to Vegas: she'll do that w/ me if I attend a Celine Dion concert w/ her. Of course, now she says Celine only has another year left on her Vegas contract. If she doesn't re-up, it'll be tough for me to get my wife to get on that ride.

The few times we've been the the Zone recently, we weren't downstairs long enough to see who was working there. We usually just go upstairs for the arcade part. They've changed their menu a lot, and it's just not the same quality they had when they opened.

The Aquarium is a must. Great place! Legal Seafood is okay, but there's plenty of other places (I'd choose G&M in Linthicum, out by the airport) that have seafood as good, if not better. I've never been to Camden Yards, as I haven't been a baseball fan for about a decade now. Hard Rock is overpriced and extremely noisy, but I've been to worse places. My suggestions? Eat: G&M, if you like seafood. If you want to eat some place in the harbor, check out the Cheesecake Factory. They have a very good selection and the food is first rate. Sights: The Inner Harbor, Aquarium, and Science Center are all good places to see, but there are other great sites. The Great Blacks on Wax Museum is nice, but it's not near the harbor (it's close to where my office is). The Babe Ruth Museum isn't that far from the harbor and I hear it's nice as well. There's also Fort McHenry, Fells Point (the Admiral Fell Inn has excellent food!!), or the Power Plant Live (where they have some nice nightclubs and the Improv comedy club, among other places). If you want, drop me a PM and maybe the wife and I could meet you guys for dinner some evening. Nobody has mistaken me for any kind of 'expert' on Baltimore, but since I've lived and worked in this area since 1998, I know a few spots.

Decent overall. Your RBs aren't the best, but I do feel you have pretty good scoring potential there. Your WRs look good. I feel Chad Johnson is ready for a monster season. Gonzalez is a good TE to have, your kickers are okay and the Falcons' defense is pretty good. They could also have a breakout season, stat-wise. I'm not a huge fan of the Vikes' D, only because I've seen teams go out and break the bank to make a great D only to have it blow up in their face (remember when Miami and Washington did this?).

Most people would say "get a RB", but you also have to look @ who is available, too. If Peyton Manning is not the 4th pick in your draft, he should be your pick. There isn't anyone, including any RB, who scores as well or as consistently as Peyton. The only RB that I'd consider taking before Manning would be Priest Holmes, and even he isn't as much of a lock as Manning. If both are available, take Manning. Otherwise, take the one who isn't gone @ #4 (between Manning and Holmes).

It sure is war. Those words hurt every bit as much as the arsenal the soldiers have to deal w/.

The owners of Punt Catchers and Saratoga Swingers have until next Friday to get in touch w/ me about getting their teams set up. If I don't hear from them by then, I'll have to look into replacing the 2 owners.
-
Sounds nice, Michael. Put me down for 2 of those (3X and XL).

I'm still looking for email addresses for the following teams: Punt Catchers Saratoga Swingers I'll need the owners of these teams to PM me their email address so that I can have Fanball, our new home, send you the information you'll need to register and set your team up. If you choose not to participate in this year's league, let me know so that I can bring in other owners and get the league set up. Thanks.

Sadly, this has become more and more true, recently.

Nope. Nah. Yes (thank goodness).

It's always tough to compare people from different eras. That's like saying Jim Brown was great, but Emmitt Smith was way better because he had more yards in his career. Considering Brown would've had the same advantages as Smith (training, talent around him, facilities, etc.), and considering Brown wasn't chasing a record as those who followed him were, who knows what he could've done? Personally, I think he could've had 20,000 yards rushing in his career if he really wanted to. The guy won 8 rushing titles in 9 seasons and NEVER missed a game! You could easily compare that situation to Tiger and Nicklaus. Nicklaus would've had the same advantages as Tiger has now, so he may be doing just as well, if not better, than Tiger. Same goes for guys like Ben Hogan, Arnold Palmer, and many others. It does make it fun for discussion, but there's really no telling what peoople from different eras would do were they competing in the same era.

It looks like 29 pages of recess to me.

Yet another small bump in the road of refi
R. Rich replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
...or you could get out that trusty shotgun. BTW, where does the road to refi lead to? -
Parrish has agreed to terms with the Bills

They are not to be believed. -
Oh my God! This is our last chance??

I know I'll be watching to see how the OL develops. I know, what a shock, as I never discuss how the OL plays. Anyway, the development of the LT position, as well as how the left side of the line gells as compared to how the right side (w/ Villarrial and Big Mike) has begun to improve, will be things I'll be watching for. What about the rest of you?

Madden 2006 (Will it just be a roster update?)
R. Rich replied to MrLocke's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'll get Madden @ some point. I don't know if I'll rush out and get it though. If I do get it early, it will be to import all the rosters from the NCAA '06 game, so I can draft them onto my team I'll create for Madden. -
Ahh, he sucks. Ask anyone here; they'll tell you.

I use my free safety almost all the time when I play. This year I'm in (year 2 of my dynasty), my FS has 3 INTs through 6 games (team is 6-0) while my SS, a 1st team All-American last year, has 4. I play a 4-3, cover 2 mainly. When they go to 4 or 5 wide, I usually switch to a nickel cover 2 or a dime cover 2. It works for me.

It's tough to rank which position on the line is the most important. All of them play a vital role, and when you don't have continuity on your line, your team suffers, as has been the case for the Bills ever since the end of the standout line we had w/ Hull, Ballard, Davis, Ritcher, and Wolford.

I'd think you'd know that already, since I say it so often here.
