  1. Does this mean his Mom was helping him write this?
  2. Gambling on preseason NFL games?
  3. I still haven't seen the original episodes of the Sapranos.
  4. It was a lot like watching the Olympics. They cut away from each game to see some meaningless play from another meaningless game.
  5. That's entirely up to you.
  6. Sorry, I can't make it.
  7. Even though he did have success coaching for 'that school' (the one in Indiana), I do admire Holtz as a coach. Like JoePa, he likes to poor mouth his team, even to a fault sometimes. (Reporter) "Coach, how do you like your chances this week?" Holtz "Well, we're not as good as we could be, and this team could suprise us if we don't step it up." (Reporter) "Uh, coach, aren't your opponents currently on a 70 game losing streak?"
  8. After that and 'Signs', I'm beginning to wonder if M. Night Shyamalan is as good as we thought he was after 'The Sixth Sense' and 'Unbreakable'.
  9. That's a ridiculous trade. Leave out the bucket of wings.
  10. They seem more like fullback candidates.
  11. They're crossing guards?
  12. Hines Ward is overrated and a jerk. I can't stand him, and I wouldn't even want to be around anyone else who does like him. Loser.
  13. You shouldn't hate.
  14. Yeah, he's the same Jill stalker from the Zone. The Jills are okay, but I think the Iggles and the Ravens have some very hot cheerleaders.
  15. Sure he should. He played hurt in last year's Super Bowl.
  16. Agreed. It's not fair to lump Barry in there as a 'quitter'. He was backed into a corner by the Lions. He wanted to play for a contender, he saw Detriot was not committed to doing what was necessary to become one, and wanted out, which Detroit was not willing to facilitate. He was left w/ no other option. Do you think he wanted to leave the game as the #2 rusher all time? You think he, like Jim Brown before him, couldn't have put up 20,000 yards if he wanted to?
  17. Good point about Posey. Those who are quick to dismiss him should realize that he isn't asked to perform the way TKO does. For what his role is, he seems to do it well enough. Good post, Tiger. I concur about Wire. I like his passion on the field (as long as it doesn't result in personal fouls), but he does look a bit lost @ times playing SS. I hope he does improve to the point where he could be considered the heir apparent to replace Milloy, because the guy's all heart.
  18. Well, maybe just a little debatable... Offensive balance is what will be needed to succeed. We cannot think that the Bills will just line up and run the ball down everyone's throats all day w/ no support from the passing game. They'll need to rely on both to do well. The teams that don't have balance are the ones that suffer nowadays. Look at Pittsburgh. Everyone sees them as a 'run the ball down your throat' team, and yes, they do run a lot and run the ball well, but they've also had Pro Bowl players @ QB and WR in recent years as well, because they knew they had to be able to back the defense off the line w/ a good passing game. Personally, I think JP will do okay for us, but I do feel he'll have a period of time where he will struggle to get into a groove. Once he gets past that, I'm sure we'll see why Donahoe traded back into the first round to get him last year.
  19. 31 Days And Counting! Just one month from today, folks.
  20. Happy birthday, Gavin.
  21. They're interviewing your boy now on the Don and Mike show.
  22. Good question. If it's a live draft, it'll have to be during the evening or on a weekend. I'm not available to do a live draft during the week, as we have a firewall up that won't allow me into the draft room from work.
