  1. You shouldn't hate.
  2. Yeah, he's the same Jill stalker from the Zone. The Jills are okay, but I think the Iggles and the Ravens have some very hot cheerleaders.
  3. Sure he should. He played hurt in last year's Super Bowl.
  4. Agreed. It's not fair to lump Barry in there as a 'quitter'. He was backed into a corner by the Lions. He wanted to play for a contender, he saw Detriot was not committed to doing what was necessary to become one, and wanted out, which Detroit was not willing to facilitate. He was left w/ no other option. Do you think he wanted to leave the game as the #2 rusher all time? You think he, like Jim Brown before him, couldn't have put up 20,000 yards if he wanted to?
  5. Good point about Posey. Those who are quick to dismiss him should realize that he isn't asked to perform the way TKO does. For what his role is, he seems to do it well enough. Good post, Tiger. I concur about Wire. I like his passion on the field (as long as it doesn't result in personal fouls), but he does look a bit lost @ times playing SS. I hope he does improve to the point where he could be considered the heir apparent to replace Milloy, because the guy's all heart.
  6. Well, maybe just a little debatable... Offensive balance is what will be needed to succeed. We cannot think that the Bills will just line up and run the ball down everyone's throats all day w/ no support from the passing game. They'll need to rely on both to do well. The teams that don't have balance are the ones that suffer nowadays. Look at Pittsburgh. Everyone sees them as a 'run the ball down your throat' team, and yes, they do run a lot and run the ball well, but they've also had Pro Bowl players @ QB and WR in recent years as well, because they knew they had to be able to back the defense off the line w/ a good passing game. Personally, I think JP will do okay for us, but I do feel he'll have a period of time where he will struggle to get into a groove. Once he gets past that, I'm sure we'll see why Donahoe traded back into the first round to get him last year.
  7. 31 Days And Counting! Just one month from today, folks.
  8. Happy birthday, Gavin.
  9. They're interviewing your boy now on the Don and Mike show.
  10. Good question. If it's a live draft, it'll have to be during the evening or on a weekend. I'm not available to do a live draft during the week, as we have a firewall up that won't allow me into the draft room from work.
  11. Gas is cheap and the economy doesn't suck?
  12. But...but...but.....if he were to come out publicly against the NCAA's banning...
  13. You beat him to it.
  14. Bill O' Reilly should make a public statement calling the NCAA's decision 'ludicrous'. That should make him a shoo-in to be Jeb's running mate, then.
  15. Well, I still watch quite a few of the crime dramas on the major networks (the Law & Order shows, the CSI shows), but I really like the documentaries on A&E a lot, like Cold Case Files, City Confidential, and my favorite, American Justice.
  16. I know you weren't equating Smith's journalistic abilities w/ Cosell's, Lori (he isn't even close), and I do agree w/ that ASSessment of him. I personally don't like him, but I don't want him shot dead in front of his pregnant wife and children either as some seem to. Kellerman's Fox PTI ripoff (I, Max) is pathetic. He even took Michael Holley over there (both were Around the Horn staples; Kellerman was the original host while Holley was a frequent guest like the annoying Page) to be his sidekick. I watched that show a couple of times, and it is really awful. Around the Horn is only good for Tony 'Stat Boy' Reali. I like his wit and how he cuts the irritating jerks on the show down. When they get to bickering over each other, especially all @ once, the show becomes unbearable. Now, PTI is a different story. Not only do we get Reali's quips @ the end of the show (my wife likes that part), but I genuinely like the back and forth between Kornheiser and Wilbon, both of whom are very good columnists. I even like when they get other good columnists on there to fill in when someone is off, like Jason Whitlock. As long as they stay clear of Page or Dan LeBatard, I'm good to go. I tivo PTI daily, even though I could watch it on ESPN Insider from work if I want to. Other than PTI, you're hard pressed to find good programming on ESPN, other than when they actually have a football game on or the occasional Behind the Lines story (good, but Real Sports does it better than anyone).
  17. I think this is the reason why his list looks the way it does @ RB and WR... I felt the same way when my sim league had its' innaugural free agent draft earlier this year. I took Julius Jones w/ one of my 4th round picks, even though there were more established players available @ the time. Why? I really like his potential. He only had 3 100 yard games last year, but ran for over 150 yards in each of them and nearly for 200 in one of them. Now that he's healthy, he'll put up some nice numbers for Dallas. BTW, in our sim league, Jones led the league in rushing through the first 2 weeks.......then got injured and was lost to me for 6 weeks (only 2 more games left until I get him back). Now, if Buckey is in a keeper league, then I understand his rationale even more. If not, he's still going to get great young players that should be reliable for him.
  18. I like that Dr House character on 'House'.
  19. What? Is he married?
  20. Yuck! Did you see all of that cellulite? And, that huge kangaroo pouch in the front? She's hideous.
  21. Wasn't that around the last time you started a rumor about yourself?
  22. What, you don't believe these guys? They are principled people. I believe them.
