  1. No doubt he'll struggle, but, as usual, I think the truth is somewhere in between "He'll be just fine; no big deal" and , "w/out Moss, he'll suck".
  2. That's a pretty good summary.
  3. You have a point there. Perhaps I should re-phrase that: Culpepper was missing his top option for a good part of the season, yet still played pretty well. In the games that Moss was healthy, he was outstanding. When Moss came back and was clearly still not 100%, Culpepper still performed well. Given the circumstances, I take him over the other options.
  4. I'm going to try hard to make it over there this year. Maybe I'll stop by the day of the opener.
  5. Moss was out for a good portion of the season while Culpepper put up MVP type numbers, let's not forget that. He'll feel the effects of Moss' departure, but to ASSume that he'll turn into an average QB is patently false. Of the options listed, Culpepper is my choice.
  6. Welcome to the board. Your Buckeyes have some very talented players that should make things interesting this season. Ted Ginn is quite an athlete! But, I think my Penn State Nittany Lions got themselves a great one also in Derrick Williams. I'm interested to see if he can have the kind of impact for PSU that Ginn had for OSU last year. Best band? Hardly. Both OSU and USC have great bands, but if you've ever seen bands from Texas Southern, Florida A&M, or Bethune Cookman, you'd know they are far superior to either OSU or USC's band. Their teams aren't as good, but their bands are better, because in most cases, the bands are the main reason people go to their games.
  7. Not only those 3 picks, which are just ridiculous, but also to get Vinatieri as my kicker, the Ravens' defense, Witten as my TE, and to be able to get guys like Chris Brown, Reuben Droughns, Marcus Pollard, Antwaan Randle El, Brandon Stokley, and Ben Roethlisberger as backups? Damn!
  8. Yeah, I can't stand the 12 hr time limit Antsports gives you per pick, but it is a decent place to get your strategy together. Sometimes, it's just plain crazy what you can get away w/ there. For instance, here's one of my latest drafts from Antsports: (Position/Player/Team/Round, Positon Picked/Bye Week) QB Donovan McNabb PHI 2.10 6 QB Ben Roethlisberger PIT 13.01 4 RB LaDainian Tomlinson SDC 1.01 10 RB Chris Brown TEN 5.01 10 RB Fred Taylor JAC 7.01 7 RB Reuben Droughns CLE 12.10 4 WR Marvin Harrison IND 3.01 8 WR Brandon Stokley IND 8.10 8 WR Mark Clayton BAL 9.01 3 WR Braylon Edwards CLE 11.01 4 WR Keary Colbert CAR 15.01 7 WR Antwaan Randle El PIT 16.10 4 TE Jason Witten DAL 4.10 9 TE Marcus Pollard DET 14.10 3 PK Adam Vinatieri NEP 10.10 7 DT Baltimore Ravens BAL 6.10 3 Man, would I love to be in a league w/ people who let me get away w/ this!
  9. Not this year. I thought about going to the Bills @ Bears preseason game, but I just couldn't afford to do that plus all of the other trips I have planned for this fall/winter.
  10. Is that kid still in the commercials? I thought he was dumped and that they just had that voice in the commercials now.
  11. I'd say it's pretty impressive to place so well in so many tournaments. Those who don't know squat about sports may think that he fell short, but those who do know, especially those who really know golf (which certainly is not me), will realize just how dominant a stat that is.
  12. I think it's pretty good this year, actually. Sorry you didn't like it. This year's game is pretty damn good, and I do like the Race for the Hypeman feature they added on, plus I really like the way you can now recruit players DURING the season.
  13. T - Minus 55 Days And Counting!!!!!
  14. True about the tackles, but his 15 PDs were a bright spot for him. He did improve throughout the season. Then again, how could he not, considering the baptism by fire he received. It would be nice if a cap friendly deal could be worked out w/ McGee to keep him locked up that would also allow for the Bills to re-sign Clements.
  15. Law is saying that because he still feels someone will pay him a huge contract. Well, we're a couple of weeks away from training camp beginning, and he's still on the market. I do feel he'll sign somewhere, but his price will come down in order for that to happen. He's still a solid corner when healthy, which is why someone will take a flyer on him.
  16. Sounds like a nice time, Ramius. I've been to a couple tailgates for Terps games and they're okay, but nothing special.
  17. FOR ALL MEMBERS OF THE BUFFALO BILLS KEEPER LEAGUE: In order to set up your teams so that Fanball can send out the invitation email to you, I will need everyone's email address. Once I have that, and you've paid the $31 fee for this year, I'll send you all an email w/ the necessary information for you to log in and set up your teams.
  18. I think this is one of my brighter, cheerier days, actually.
  19. In your case, there's that small matter of the ability to actually take the camera...
  20. Cool, Mikey. I'll take your other one. Psycho Ward 86 can use it to take pics @ the games.
  21. ESPN 05 was better than Madden 05, that's for sure. But, no way is ESPN 05 a better game than NCAA 05! The NCAA football games from EA are my absolute favorites. They just get better every year. I really wish EA didn't have exclusive deals w/ the NFL and NCAA for football games. I'd love to get another ESPN pro game. I have all of the Sega/ESPN games for Xbox, including the college football game they made. I'll still play those games, but it sure would be nice to be able to wait on a new version this year.
  22. I've been a Bills Booster now for over 2 years. I'm also a proud member of the Central NJ Bills Backers-a great group of folks I've had the opportunity to hang out w/ @ their headquarters (casa de RICHnJoisy) and hang w/ @ the home opener tailgate.
  23. Just as there are folks here who could have thicker skin at times, there are as many here who could learn when to leave well enough alone.
