  1. Does he bring more than Tannyhill or Jackson? I doubt it.
  2. ACL vs the Titans about six weeks before Tre’s injury.
  3. Make him our version of Ricard? Hmm. I might enjoy that experiment.
  4. It’s a numbers game sometimes. Great point here.
  5. Indeed. And it’s the fans who I was referring to. I just don’t understand why we all wouldn’t afford opposing players the same respect for their abilities as the players do. I get that some opposing players are low character douches, but I still have to respect the skill they bring to the game. I think it’s shortsighted otherwise.
  6. And you were a great fluffer.
  7. IIRC, there was agreement that some contact with the knee occurred when Calloway’s hip made contact with Tre’s knee while it was in an awkward position and that contact probably lent itself to the tear. I remember some doctor opining that if Calloway hadn’t bumped the knee when it was in that awkward position, the ACL probably would have been ok. Fluky bad luck all the way around.
  8. Yeah, but at least it was at home. Then again, the half he played in his first game at Baltimore was also against a good defense with a loud crowd enjoying a blowout.
  9. Josh working on that extension for Devin.
  10. Never said there’s anything wrong with it. Fair analysis of position groups isn’t disrespecting the opponent, anyway. But you’d think we’d know better, Bills fans especially, that nothing is ever a foregone conclusion in sports. The ball is shaped funny. Weird crap happens and that often renders the mismatch on paper meaningless. Regardless, every team in the league, from the undefeated to the winless, have world class athletes capable of playing in this league. I just happen to think that always deserves respect. Others’ mileage may vary and that’s just fine.
  11. Do you think I or anyone else here believes what is said in this forum has any impact on games? Really? Of course this is a message board and we can say whatever the F we want. I’m just saying I personally have never been a fan of disrespecting the ability of opponents heading into a game. But hey, thanks for pointing out the obvious none the less.
  12. Because @Gugnymade love to his (dirty) Josh Allen jersey.
  13. Never been a fan of disrespecting an opponent and talking smack before a game is played. Other teams have great players, too.
  14. Yep. He was attempting the rare Purple Herman blitz technique.
  15. Yep. The film review won’t be kind to Ramsey. Again.
  16. Holy crap. What a play by Deebo Samuel.
  17. No. He made it possible for Philly to win the SB by getting fired and replaced by Doug Pederson. Genius, 4D chess move by Chip Kelly.
  18. Blowout loss to the Titans at home? When did this happen?
  19. One of my favorites, too.
  20. Yes, I was indeed referring to the int in the endzone. Apologies if I missed any context.
  21. I’m not changing the argument at all. Just saying you can’t cite stats from 2021 as proof that this team can’t win one score games when the stats from 2020 clearly demonstrate that this team can win one score games. And btw, 2020 was only two years ago and there isn’t a big enough sample from this season to be included for analysis. It’s simply a two season analysis; 2020 and 2021. And I don’t give a FF if people care or not.
  22. When the narrative is these coaches and players can’t win close games, 2020 must be included in the analysis because it’s essentially the same cast of characters being evaluated. Otherwise, it’s dishonest because this group had clearly demonstrated their capability to win close games previously.
  23. I’d lean towards Bennett. Diggs is a key piece, but the acquisition of Bennett changed the balance of power in the AFC East, whereas I feel Allen’s development and Brady’s departure from the division was the major cause this time around. That’s taking nothing away from Diggs in the least. He’s a beast in his own right.
  24. Per the bold, if Ravens fans are upset about the play Poyer made, they should acquaint themselves with the rule book. Poyer has just as much of a right to make a play on the ball as the receiver does, which is exactly what he did. Unlike Poyer, the Ravens DB who clocked McKenzie did no such thing. As far from a “mirror image” as can be.
