  1. Well, when we inject 1.5 trillion dollars of liquidity to calm worried Wall Street bankers, things are expected to stabilize and rebound. Add another trillion or so to bail out big industries like airlines, hotels, etc., and the engine is greased even further. This was all predictable back in late March.
  2. Appreciate the link, thanks. But that was painful to watch. If he can get his hands on somebody he can neutralize them, but his mobility is shot; just no footwork to speak of. That said, if it’s just a question of getting healthy in order to regain his movement, then like others have said, we just may have something.
  3. These “grades” crack me up. If a team drafts according to a draftnik’s predictions (usually erroneously based solely on need), then that team gets an A. If a team should go outside of their faulty predictions, then they get knocked down a grade or two. Nice. Simple fact is, it will be a few years before this draft can be adequately evaluated. Just like it’s always been.
  4. F Gary Anderson. He resented being drafted by the Bills and played himself off the team on purpose. Too bad we didn’t interview him beforehand instead of wasting a 7th round pick in a 12 round draft.
  5. I hear ya and agree wholeheartedly. But I’d also say that holds true for every position but kicker/punter. Drafted kickers are expected to compete for and win the job.
  6. Hope his gramma can make it up to Buffalo to watch him play.
  7. Teams don’t usually spend draft capital on a kicker just expecting him to be a camp leg. I’d say at this point, it’s his job to lose to Hauschka.
  8. Including while wearing shorts?
  9. Penalties are gonna be frustrating, regardless. But I appreciate your point about quick strikes vs. sustained drives.
  10. Dude plays with mad leverage and low man usually wins.
  11. He has decent agility for his position so I can see why he has some athleticism, but his poor 10 and 20 yard split times in slow 40 indicate a lack of explosion as does his poor bench performance. And that lack of explosion shows up in his game video as well. I’m not gonna say he won’t be a contributor like Lawson in a rotation and I can even see him moving inside in obvious passing situations, but I don’t see an elite pass rusher off the edge at this time. He’s got decent hands though, so I’m hoping he can offset some of that lack of explosion with dominant hand work.
  12. His combine had no bearing on my take as we have to take the underwear olympics with a grain of salt. It’s just that little about his game jumped out at me when I watched his games and video. I think he can be a passable rotation player, and that DOES have value in this defense, but he’s not an explosive pass rusher who is going to make impact plays. Dependable players have their place, though.
  13. My immediate reaction was unhappy, but I’m coming around to “meh.” They simply got a cheaper version of Shaq Lawson for four years. Several teams are doing the same thing by selecting players at positions they’ve let go.
  14. I can’t believe he’s still on the board, but I can’t believe he gets past this round.
  15. I like Chinn. If he’s anything like his uncle, he’s gonna be great.
  16. Yeah, but we got the best gift of all.
  17. Think about who we got for the 22nd pick in this draft and your BP will drop. Especially if you watch some Diggs highlights.
  18. Payback for us jumping up to get Knox last year.
  19. If Baun ain’t gone he’d be just right for Sean.
  20. I say bring him on. If we can’t beat them with Tua, then we don’t deserve it anyway.
