I would've preferred them to give Gillislee a 2nd round tender but maybe they don't have the money. The Bills still have first refusal and can match any offers but that could be pricey and all they'd get in return is a 5th round pick if they don't match. Groy played pretty well but not enough to warrant a large salary. I don't think we'll lose him. Hopefully they can re-sign both on a longer term basis and keep them off the market and be cap friendly for at least this year.

The combine didn't change my mind on Watson ... I'd be very happy picking him, even at #10. He's intelligent, a leader and a winner, if you never draft a QB, you'll never find one.

I'ts funny, watching last years draft when they picked Lawson in the 1st round I thought he'd be a better 43 DE than a 34 OLB. When they picked Ragland in the 2nd I thought he'd make a better 43 MLB. When they drafted Washington in the 3rd I thought he would make a better 43 DT rather than a 34 DE. A year later and it looks like that's where all three end up. I think Washington will see plenty of snaps backing up Kyle and some backing up Dareus this season and then win a starting job next season.

It would be the same as if Trubisky begged the Browns to take him, nothing to get your panties in a bunch over, the kid wants to play for his hometown team.
