  1. If I were in their shoes I'm not so sure I would accept the pardon.... For me I think I would rather fight the charges, so I could ultimately turn this right back around at Garner. Isn't she in fact aiding and abetting insurrection? I think it's about time someone faces charges over this mess, why not her?
  2. From the article Interesting how Newsweek ignored that part of Paul's tweet huh? The rest of the article is is just more #orangemanbad referencing the Lincoln Project Anti-Trumpers. Once again, the only reason Federal authorities are there is to protect Federal property and because local LE is not allowed to do their job!
  3. Just proves what I've already said that he was there to incite, not talk... TAZERFACE!
  4. They've been exposed as a Democrat funded hit machine. No hiding it now so now anything goes.... This is just soooooo very important to fish and wildlife!
  5. You didn't miss anything. Nothing to show what happened before he gets hit with a baton multiple (3 times) times and then sprayed ion the face. Either he's high, or more likely that baton was rubber since he doesn't even flinch. Nothing in this shows how his hand got broke and his backpack has a hell of a lot more in it than his wallet and keys as the article claims... And oh, did I mention HIS TWITTER HANDLE IS TAZERFACE? @Warcodered, like I said above, lazy ass media....
  6. Took me a few clicks to find the offending presentation......
  7. this marxist movement today has absolutely nothing in common with civil rights activists from the 60s. Then was a struggle for the rights of individuals, now is more them wanting to transform this country to suit their marxist beliefs
  8. Must be a relative of Biden's, that's a water heater not a furnace...
  9. It all began when we started ignoring Survival of the Fittest?
  10. Or the Civil Rights or Stonewall riots... So funny how protesters have to march to the beat of someone else’s drum. Yeah, cause everyone knows a demonstration or riot is equivalent to a war for independence huh? I mean, the only major difference I can think of is one risks their life, liberty and fortune, the other is only willing to risk someone else life, liberty and fortune.
  11. So you link a bullschiff article which I call out and this is all you've got in response? Seriously?
  12. Top part first... Yes, we have been less than stellar in our own history and you are also correct, it is the history. I think today regardless of the party in power, countries bring up CURRENT events more than our history. Let's face it whether right or wrong, the way the media often plays events like Obama drone strikes, or Trump and BLM is a more serious hit in any negotiations than distant history. If the President went to China to complain of human rights abuse and I were the Chinese ambassador all I would have to do is turn the TV on and point to the latest drone strike killing civilians (Obama) or the riots in Portland (Trump) and elsewhere. As for the list of nations, good choices in Japan, S Korea, and probably India since all 3 have their own issues with China. Perhaps add other S Pacific nations of Australia and N Zealand. However I really doubt the EU would be with us, and also have my doubts of a Trudeau led Canada. Mexico I think also relies a lot on Chinese made parts so can't even expect them for much help but it is a possible. Brazil was already in negotiations with China to replace the food loses during our early trade war so again, really doubtful. I like what Japan just did to incentivize their companies to pull from China altogether. Maybe that is something for us to take a hard look at as well especially after this whole Covid mess exposes that even a lot of our medications are made over there now. A problem China faces now which was inevitable is their people beginning to see what their labor can achieve, and are now beginning to demand a slice of that pie. Labor issues that every developing nation eventually has to deal with. If we can somehow unwind ourselves from dependency, that will make those issues even more of a problem for them as less jobs are available. I think that can be done, but not by ridding us of the Trump tax cuts, I think maybe even cutting taxes more for those that leave China. While not telling who I work for, years ago we began to realize that a lot of the added cost over there along with shipping, sometimes it is more cost efficient to make it where we sell it. Add in the advances in manufacturing that requires less labor, and the fact Americans really do want to buy US made products, it's a win-win for each job we bring back. I think for some businesses like ours, it would be easy enough since few of our parts are sourced and even our plants in China we own. Not sure how tough that might be though for companies that rely totally on sourcing now though since you would be asking them to do something (manufacture) they may not have done in decades. But it could open all sorts of manufacturing opportunities (maybe even new companies to source through) here in this country while taking them back from China. Anyway, I guess I'm hoping with us leading the way to disentangle ourselves from China, others might be more willing as well. Meanwhile begin to help sow labor discord on the back end. China needs our money more than we need them I think. But we need to give the Apples and HPs of the world a reason to leave, and I would much rather give a monetary incentive to them than to China.... While my hope would be for those companies to relocate back here, the ultimate goal is to just get the hell out of China.
  13. He had heard of the protests in the city and was concerned about the federal agents, and decided to go chat with them huh? But for no reason they just started wailing on him? What kind of bullschiff is that? Accusing Trump of trying to incite unrest in a city full of it already? How 'bout he is trying to protect FEDERAL property from marxists? The article claims a video which they apparently watched of the whole thing, yet never links it for the readers. Just trust their narrative? But oh, my favorite part... He gets help from a street medic named Tav, who goes by the preferred pronouns they/them (is it legion) and the twitter handle of this poor innocent veteran is Tazerface... And of course we're supposed to believe the back pack was to hold his wallet and keys.... Lazy journalism meets stupidity...
  14. If they did, oil is bad because of CO2 and fracking, so they would go by the Houston Solar Panels today.... If they existed.....
  15. That's not true.... The world including the Obama Administration were silent during genocide in Darfur and Rwanda. The world including the Clinton Administration was silent during the Bosnian genocide.
  16. Couple things... First, this is a thread about China, NOT the US but since you brought it up, our record is certainly a hell of a lot better than China or Russia, or literally any other nation on this planet. Has it been perfect, absolutely not! Discussion for another time, but the problem over the course of time you mention is that politicians seem to think they know how to win battles and their stupid ass ROEs. But again I remind you, this isn't about the US. As for negotiations and that previous remark to make it economically prudent for them. This is a country who just got 57 other nations to agree to their takeover of Hong Kong. Which nations do you have in mind to join us? Maybe a trade embargo? Increased tariffs? isn't the orangeman trying that? Maybe you want to just give them cash incentives? Promise to be nice and we'll give you taxpayer money? Or perhaps you want to resurrect the TPP? Send jobs back to not only China, but other nations in SE Asia as well? Every multilateral trade deal in US history has been at the expense of the US. Those jobs this was supposed to create? Yeah, they would have been in other countries, not ours. So the question remains... Who is going to join us in those trade negotiations? Who is going to join us in those multilateral sanctions? Please expand?
  17. Look at this, now it’s up to me to be responsible? Be part of a solution? It isn’t Trumps fault? This is the equivalent of “whatever”. Nah.... It's BillStime equivalent of:
  18. The Boomer-driven environmental movement of the late 60’s-70’s was excellent. As a Millenial, I give you all a well-deserved “thank you!” for your activism. But regular water and air pollution form a class of environmental issues completely distinct from greenhouse gas pollution. Whether intended or not, that sure came across as a backhanded slap at "boomers" That's certainly the way I take it from any pompous ass millennial.
  19. This teacher is brilliant as she has written a song to help her students get through the pandemic. It's a simple song the entire class can sing along! As can some of our PPP Libs.....
