  1. And now we all know your name, Brandon Ray Very insightful article you wrote there Brandon
  2. I’m a jersey guy.
  3. And it will be white knuckled ball control offense again this season. That’s what this offense is and It should be until it’s not successful. That doesn’t mean we can’t/won’t take shots during a ball control game. It’s what helps set up the deep shots. Mack Hollins scored on a 34 yards TD vs KC last season. We had pass plays of 55, 34, 25, 24 and 19 vs the broncos in the playoffs. I don’t see any reason to doubt this offense at this point in the season while we’re averaging 34+ ppg. Coleman, Kincaid, Palmer, Shakir and Moore are all capable of making plays downfield. As are Knox, the RBs and Shavers. Offenses evolve as the season goes on. I don’t think our weapons are incapable of continuing to improve. In fact, I expect many of them to do just that.
  4. No reason to show our hand this early in the season playing vs bum teams.
  5. We do not need a new backup RB. Ty is one of the best backups in the league regardless of his inconsistency through 3 games this season. We need to see how the pass rush is once Hoecht and Larry are eligible. If they don’t improve it- then adding another pass rusher would be welcome. I just don’t think we’ll be in the market for one unless Bosa gets injured prior to the trade deadline. I don’t see us adding another WR this season barring injury. I think our WRs will be fine. I think our LBs will be fine. Sure, an upgrade would be nice- but at what cost and will they be able to step in a play the system to McDs standard. Same goes for corner and safety. Tre, Hairston and Strong will likely have to do opposite of Benford. If Benford goes down, maybe we add a corner. If Rapp goes down, maybe we add a safety, but I would think we might give Hancock a shot at it. That said- Beane is usually pretty aggressive in upgrading something at the deadline.
  6. Maybe you didn’t read the OP
  7. I’d be happy if Ray didn’t get another carry for the next two seasons while we have Jimbo and Ty
  8. He’s played 3 games
  9. As did Al Holcomb when he broke that play down for him in the film room and told him to be ready for it. Bernard was up to the task. Coaching played a big part in that play- per Bernard
  10. up- Cook Kincaid Walker down- Rousseau DTs other than Walker Ray Davis- just because James and cook are so much better
  11. I felt the same up until the inception drive. I was worried that they would run the clock down to seconds left, score and go for 2- leaving Josh no time.
  12. He has kept his feet on handful of them. He’s always leaning way forward once he starts to accelerate- gotta make it difficult to stay up when your ahead of your foundation like that
  13. Some people just have to cry and whine about something.
  14. I don’t think I’ve noticed him once in 3 games.
  15. He was on the field for the first play. Man, if we hit on this kid, it’ll likely be a home run.
  16. Yeah he flashed some for sure. Could be a boom or bust play to play. Luckily, as an inside pass rusher, his booms should make a difference
  17. Deone Walker with the hesi to run free on Bernard’s pick. He more than likely forced that Int. Big dude getting into the backfield like lightning
  18. Kind of feel bad for mcdaniels. Sieler and Tua ended him
  19. Kincaids blocking getting better and better
  20. Can’t get home- the story of the game
  21. Pass rush really misses Ed tonight
