Week 12: Buffalo Bills vs Philadelphia Eagles
NewEra replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lou is a stud DC for sure. One of the best. I’ll take Spags over him. He’s a massive part of their 2 Super Bowl rings OT: @newcam2012 I see this thread littered with your disagree droppings but I haven’t read your opinion on the matter. Are you in TO? -

And they play SF the following week. -
His cap hit if claimed is 6M+ for the remainder of the year. That’s a huge cap hit. the reason I say it’s about him choosing a place is that I don’t think there’s any chance we claim him. Zero chance imo.
-
I used to fight the good fight. now I realize that the officiating is right where the league wants it.
-
Depends which other teams are offering what. I don’t think he’d choose to join a 6-5 team unless they were offering a decent amount more than teams looking like they’re shoo ins for the playoffs. Never know though, you could be right.
-
The question is, do you want to pay Leonard and if so, how much.
-
Wasn’t a fan of the doot thing. Meh. AHHHHHHHHHHHH is the only thing the kid says. I seem to have chosen Kingcaid. For the time being anyway.
-
I disagree. There’s more to it than capitalizing and getting turnovers. Getting beat for TDs is the anti-equivalent to getting turnovers. Douglas is more susceptible to giving up TDs. Benford is also a better tackler. I’ll take Doiglas at this point, but I disagree that “it’s not close”. McD certainly disagrees with you too
-
I got $100 days he is. Bet? Agree about Dane- I think he’s probably better than Benford too…. But Benford has been playing very well of late. Benford and Douglas will be the starters this year and next imo

That sucks. Wish they had kept him. Forever

That’s part of it. I feel that they won last year because they didn’t suffer any injuries on either side of the ball. Completely healthy. Its rare to be THAT healthy come SB
-
You love him

Incoming defensive holding. 5 yards- 1st down

What a BUM

I thought it was roughing. Close- but from what I’ve seen this season. It’s on par imo

Dalton Kincaid: Beane's best pick since Allen?

This reminds me….. @FireChans -
All the credit to Spags. He’s such a great DC. He seems to always finds a way to get pressure. Especially on 3rd down
-
I agree to an extent. I don’t think he’s a “great” back when the play-call is for him to run outside. Good sounds about right. I think one of the key traits of being a great outside runner is the ability to know “when to bust it outside”. And that’s where I think James excels. Seems to me that he has superb feel on when to bust it outside. As if he knows whether or not he’s going to be able get the corner.

Off topic- but unworthy of its own thread. Joey Bosa was placed on IR with a sprained foot. Eligible to return vs us, meanwhile 3 of the 4 games he’s definitely out will be played against playoff contenders, Ravens, Broncos and Raiders.
-
I can see that comparison. Cook has a little more power imo, but the burst and make you miss ability is similar
-
NO WAY!! SPENCER BROWN SUCKS!!!! kidding- big up to 79. He still has some terrible moments but he’s cut them down big time and has made some stellar blocks. Dion and McGovern have been rock solid on the left while Morse has been a solid vet to pair with the big rook. Kromer has done a solid job. Let’s appreciate them now and pray that we can continue to praise them in the next 4 weeks. Philly, KC then Dallas. Get after it bigs Rasul to the rescue!! You KNOW he has this game scheduled.
-
🙄 I believe you will be very disappointed until either Cook, Murray or Johnson get injured.
-
Just for some perspective. While he’s 3rd in rushing yards Cook is currently 9th in rushing yards per game among RBs with a minimum of 8 games played. 11th among RBs with at least 7 games played. He hasn’t had a bye and hasn’t missed a game. There aren’t any RBs with a higher ypg that have played in 11 games like Cook has. not coming down on him, he’s a stud. Just pointing out how he’s come to be the 3rd leading rusher.

I think that’s coming, but never with that type of usage rate. But definitely used more in the pass game than they have in his two years so far. Brady’s use of motion really opened things up
