All the more reason resigning Jones is big. This draft looks to be very weak at 1T from what I’ve collected to date
-
It’s not a no brainer when you don’t give your pro bowl RB the ball inside the 5 yard line. the only thing that makes it difficult is the money. And it’s a huge obstacle…. But the fit would be great. It’s not smart to continue to have Josh Allen as our only goal line back. Ty Johnson had zero rushing TDs. Pro bowler Cook had 2. Murray had 4 (and wasn’t good in the red zone). Our QB had 15. It would be wise to lessen his load and hits taken inside the 5. The fit is there. The money likely won’t be. you can admit that it would be a nice upgrade in adding a different dimension to our offense that teams would have to plan against

I agree he’ll have more offers than Elliott and likely will make more money….but we’re talking about a 30 year old RB in the NFL. It’s conceivable he doesn’t get a solid offer from a contender. Like I’ve said- I don’t think it’s likely…..but it is certainly not out of the realm of possibility.
-
Well, that’s kind of my point. Zeke got 3 from a non contender. If Henry’s best offer is 4-5M from a non contender, maybe he’ll accept 3M to join us and chase a ring. Big paying, but I think he’d be worth 3M. We’re maybe Siran Neal and Matakavich 3M
-
I agree that this is likely what we will do, but Henry could be a difference maker for this offense. Having 2 unstoppable forces in the backfield would be tough to stop with the proper playcalling. But it all depends on his market- if teams are offering him 4-5M, maybe he’d take 3. Is he going to make 7-9M at this stage in his career? 🤷🏻♂️ but I know he doesn’t have a Lombardi. Pairing him and cook would be legit if we can get him on a ring chasing contract. Unlikely though…. I agree

I’d be excited about he and cook. I could see it for the right price

Boyd is a slot imo. I don’t think he’s a fit unless he’s making under 2M, even then, I don’t he makes sense

Should the Bills trade up for their own “Julio Jones”

Good luck with that -
For sure- but that’s why these mocks suck- I doubt any of the first 3 rounds selections will be available at those picks. Piersall seems to be sky rocketing- hearing he probably won’t make it out of rd 2 now. 🤷🏻♂️

I don’t like the hall pick as he’s a penetrating DT. He’d play when Ed comes off the field. i do like the player, but not sure he’d be good value for our team considering our need for a 1T. If we bring jones back, Hall would be nice, but I think I’d rather go DE first
-
Agreed. That’s why I usually only do a handful a year
-
Yeah it is- I don’t think he’ll fall out of rd 3. Might not fall out of rd 2.

No

Looks like Fangio and the Dolphins had an ugly split.

I agree. It was a terrible start to the season but once they got Ramsey back they turned things around slowly but surely. Then injured really struck and good luck beating Josh or Mahomes with 4th and 5th string pass rushers. -
He looks like a guy if he happy with in rd 2 if we can get a WR rd 1. are there any 1Ts that you’re looking at in rd 3-5. Trading up for Polk is my current hope for rd 2. Looks like a late first rounder to me.

💯

Seems like a McB type pick. I want WR, but if he’s the guy, I don’t hate it as long as we can trade up into rd 2 and snag a WR (preferably Polk, he’s my rd 2 WR draft crush this year). Maybe trade down a few spots and draft robinson and then teadr up for WR. Easier said than done, I know Robinson is impressive.

I could definitely see Robinson to the Bills @28
-
I think it’ll be CMC

Daniel Jeremiah top 50 prospects . Who are the Bills drafting?

Looking at the snaps played, he averaged around 52 snaps per game this year. He got hurt early vs Jax and only played 4.5% that game, which brings his average down. The finale vs Miami he played 63.5% -
That shouldn’t make you nervous. 😉

Lets support the new Staff and hope for the best.

Tough call here. I’d rather have mcdermott because I know he’s a good play caller. I feel Babich can stand to learn a lot still and mcdermott is a great mentor for him I’m not against Babich calling plays but I’m more comfortable with McD. if Babich does call the plays, I look forward to watching him grow as a DC and play caller. He seems like a great football mind as well as a leader. I’m glad we retained him -
That goes without saying. Of course a first time HC is going to have question marks. I’m not saying he’s a sure thing or that anyone should be sold on him. The niners and a rams aren’t disappointed that they took chances on hot young OCs without any HC experience. It’s not guaranteed but sometimes you have to take a chance. He’s my top candidate and it’s my best case scenario that he wasn’t hired as a HC elsewhere yet.

No, maybe I should have worded it differently. My dream scenario was to have the option of hiring Johnson if things don’t end with a Super Bowl. If you’re a fan of Ben Johnson than that should be your dream scenario too
