  1. Wear whatever your corporate masters deem as the jersey de jour. Just make sure it costs > $100 and has the official NFL tax stamp on it.
  2. You're gonna love PFT's predictions. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/pfts-2023-nfl-season-predictions Look, if it looks like a duck... It's not just the random prognosticator, it's the prevailing view. IMO the Jets and Dolphins are better on paper than the Bills. Good thing the Bills are best when they have their heads in the game and backs against the wall and have more experience as a team than the other two. But is that enough? As for responding to the press: When will Bill's Fans get over their inferiority complex. And for what purpose. If they do 'make a statement' and are as good it's what they predicted, it's what they said and will be ignored, if not it will be quoted ad nauseum and they look like fools. No win.
  3. Not as much negative but there are two extremes, HOMERs (80%) and WE ARE DOOMEDers (15%) Rational discussion is rare and when it happens is usually ridiculed with witless comments. Sad.

  5. Tix to the opener are always artifically high. If you just want to see a game wait until Fall. Winter (esp if it's a down season) they will be below face. The three little dots at top right of your post open a menu with an edit option.
  6. No problem. Bills beat the best during the regular season. The playoffs, well.....
  7. If it was as hot as a Taylor Swift ticket this post would be littered with requests to have STHs buy early birds for them. Factor in the subpar venue and compare to how this tour is selling at other venues and the 25%++ TM adds onto resales, and the location you can get before you buy as an investment.
  8. Bumped obsolete post of the day. Please delete. Interesting fact of the day. Face value of tickets for opener in 2023 is $216
  9. Why not take a major step further. - Add 8 -10 more weeks to the schedule and push the SB to early spring so teams don't qualify in blizzards and then play the championship game inside. Might even make the SB more of a real game with real fans instead of a celebrity meet and greet. Dare I dream of a 3 game Championship with the 1st two at each team's stadium and if necessary a 3rd at a neutral site? - Increase the roster to 80 so teams could be managed like the NBA and MLB where players NEED to be rested (might also eliminate the Rams, Jets paradigm of going all in for a season or two) - Integrate that International Conference that keeps getting talked about and add a couple of byes to make travel less distruptive on teams.
  10. Bumping (to make a point)
  11. I sure hope that happens. Been getting pms filling me in a bit on the history of the forum. Too bad the 'mods are gods, users are losers' attitude is so prevalant on TBD.
  12. Bottom Line: The Bills Tickets and Gear has always been the red headed stepchild but with a few tweeks could be a useful tool especially with the current ticket prices and impending PSLs. Is there any interest? Long winded version: 'Inspired' by the recent Stubhub (SH) post I contend that the Bills Tickets and Gear forum could use some 'attention'. There are 10 pages of posts, 9 ½ that are obsolete. Per JustJack he is the moderator but is not given (doesn't want?) the power to delete or archive posts that have expired. As I see it the forum was always an afterthought from the days when it was considered gauche to sell at a profit and tickets prices were reasonable. And before the days of mobile tickets scamming was common. I couldn't afford to keep my STs without selling some. My preference is to sell 3 per game and use 1 but there is not a lot of demand for odd numbers. I usually sell the set (most on Ticketmaster (TM) and buy a single. Have tried to use the current forum with variable success. I am an unabashed capitalist and have no problem maximizing the price I get per ticket, however I do prefer to sell to a Bills Fan(s). Ticketmaster grabs up to 25% of the sales price, dinging both the buyer and seller. From the SH post I see that many use SH to sell their excess. [Don't really understand why them since they charge the lister 15% vs the 10% TM charges a STH,]. I use Paypal and the Account transfer methodology to sell direct which protects the buyer and seller. Ideally, I'd like to see the Gear portion be a separate section, outdated ticket listed deleted and some kind of format for listing tickets. If you list tickets on a reseller site list the location and the site. A prospective buyer can see the current listing price (TM used to show the list price w/o fees but with the new (almost) full price policy this went away but you can figure there is around a 25% mark-up) and PM the seller to negotiate. Reseller fees are avoided, plus you have a greater probability of the seat being taken by a Bills Fan. As the PSL gotchas become known a sub-section would also be a good way match prospective joint owners who are likely to be Bills Fans. Seems like something along these lines was attempted a couple of years ago then fizzled out. Not sure if this will be met with deafening silence (other than a few chuclkeheads), irate dinosaurs who believe tickets should be transferred at cost or below, or hopefully some interest and a more refined ways of doing this. Oh, and my STs are Sec 135, R 5, Seats 7 – 10.
  13. Probably, but they can increase profits by .001% by giving us free tickets instead of pins, hats, and cups like the days of yore.
  14. I take it you are not a regular (or even irregular) reader of TBD. Facts are discouraged.
  15. (Probably something similar posted somewhere but I'm not slogging thru 78+ pages of sky is falling posts) Based on his 2023 cap hit of $14.8M, it's analogous to someone making $100K losing $108, then $216...
  16. He SHOULD play weeks 1, 4 and then 6 til the end of the year depending on current record and opponent strength on game day.
  17. Pertinent part was their take on the Bill's Personnel policy, so let's pick apart Simm's tidbit on KC. SMH
  18. Exactly! Was just about to post this myself. [BTW for the ADD crowd the pertinent part is between 2:24 and 6:35] Homer's here will not like to hear it but it make alot of sense.
  19. Aware it's due to a formula, just not sure the situation will change.
  20. Exactly! Remember one video about Miller and Diggs chuckling it up like they already had the SB in the bag. Need MUCH LESS of this crap: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aW9eMVL-uSg Josh Allen joins Von Miller to speak about Lamar Jackson deserving a max contract, Tua's injury, his hopes for the Bills season and more in the second episode of Bleacher Report's The Voncast. 23:13- Josh Allen throws up before each game 26:46- Aaron Judge hits #62, Josh played baseball 27:12- Von being around a lot of great QBs 27:43- If Von could add a former teammate to the Bills/Odell conversation 28:50: Von discussing Josh’s energy he brings to the team and off the field 30:03- How long Josh has been playing golf 30:35- Von designing his house around his teammates....
  21. And the Bills will be scheduled to play the Chiefs at Arrowhead during the next 10 seasons.
  22. Makes more sense for them to keep them. In today's market there's a waiting list for ST's. It's likely they will make more selling the oddballs a singles.
  23. Did you track what those seats are going for and see how long it would take to pay for the PSL charge? How about the $5K PSL seats?
