  1. And every interview this woman has done and every time this woman opens her mouth, she sounds like a self-righteous, self-serving you know what. She is supposedly "sad" and "crying" and emotionally hurt, but she admits in her interview with Anderson Cooper that she's worried about how much tax she's supposed to pay on her newfound money????!!!!! Tell me this isn't real. It can't be. It just can't be. I want to cry because of how disgusting American society has become. http://ac360.blogs.cnn.com/2012/06/23/karen-klein-i-dont-really-think-theyre-sorry/
  2. This "Includes", meaning that said job encompasses more than one aspect in addition to the aspects I mentioned. 3rd grade english language lesson aside, she has as much authority to tell the principal/assistant principal/any disciplinarian of her choice as the bus driver does....which is to say, a lot. I have ridden the school bus before amazingly enough. Not only does she have that authority, she is also able to force said children to separate from their clique and move to different parts of the bus until the problem can be rectified more thoroughly. Don't give me the "she was a helpless martyr to ruthless 12 year old" routine. If she was that helpless, like I said in my prior post, she should have been given the proverbial boot. And I still havent ruled out that she may have lambasted those kids all year and only backed into her corner when ganged up on. Elderly people can be just as brutal, if not more brutal, than children can be.
  3. Ok. So they called her fat and made her cry...that's a crappy thing to do to someone. But let's be honest, if I had a half mill for every time someone called me fat or ugly or four-eyed or whatever, I'd be able to purchase majority ownership of the Bills+Facebook. I lost ALL sympathy for Ms. Klein the second people began to toss money at her....here's why. 1.) She is a bus aide. The main thing a bus aide is supposed to accomplish is the maintaining of law and order on said bus. This includes punishing wrongdoers, and keeping miscreants in their seats, and in line. Clearly, one of two things happened on Ms. Klein's bus. Either she was so strict in her order-keeping that the kids had had enough of her over-the-top harsh lashings, verbal or otherwise, or she was amazingly inept at her job, and for an entire year let those kids run rampant on the bus and do whatever they could imagine to her and to each other. I'm prone to thinking it's the latter. If so, cut her loose, thereby getting rid of the possibility of this happening. If you're a bus aide that is supposed to keep the kids in line, and you fail to keep them in line, then you are failing at your job. As far as I know, if any one of us were failing at the single most important aspect of our job, we would either be warned, written up, or fired immediately. Not that Ms. Klein will ever have to work again if she has a single brain cell remaining, but still. And I'm not saying that either of the aforementioned situations must have been true, but it certainly seems likely that one of said situations was true. 2.) A HALF MILLION DOLLARS?! Is anyone aware of the staggering number of charities/non-profits that could use the money given to Ms. Klein in order to attempt to cure cancer, MS, muscular dystrophy, AIDS, HIV, lupus, or even the common cold? How about similar charities that aim to help children/adults/veterans/addicts/homeless/orphans/refugees in need? You have got to be kidding me. If I were Ms. Klein and I had an ounce of conscience, I would give that money to the charity of my choice. I would be disgusted at my own inability to handle the most transparent of insults spewed forth by a 13 year old. Give me a break. Now, don't get me wrong....the way kids treat their elders these days is nothing short of appauling. But adults are adults and kids are kids for a reason, that is, because adults are emotionally mature enough to handle being called fat and ugly and sweaty and smelly and multi-chinned. Or at least they should be. I empathized with Ms. Klein until I heard that someone was shelling out that money, and now I'm disgusted that her martyrdom is being parlayed into a world tour of praise and queen-like treatment. Next, we will be asked to buy her book and go to book signings like we were with Susan Boyle. What ever happened to being tough and pulling oneself up by one's bootstraps. Sickening.
  4. Are you as dumb as you sound lmao. Seriously you just named 4 guys you'd like. Of them, Martin or Adams MIGHT project as an LT. And Randle/Hill/David would be better than the others. So we should give up extra picks to move up to grab one of 5 guys (7 if we include the bozos you mentioned) when we most likely could grab one of them at 41, and probably will have our choice of at least 3-5 of them. Wow. Just wow.
  5. Stop comparing Gilmore to McKelvin and Whitner, it just doesn't make sense...SEC vs. Troy's conference, and 4 years of good production vs. 1 year of production out of Whitner. Not to mention that McKelvin and Gilmore are completely different corners. So we should've gone with Floyd? Ok I wouldn't have minded that, but I'd rather see Buddy continue his current plan of strengthening one side of the ball rather than try to patch holes. We can get a guy in Jeffrey, Quick or maybe even Hill that will produce just as much as Floyd will. And with the same size/speed too, minus the character issues.
  6. Massie will not play a down at LT in the NFL, unless a GM is trying to get fired. While I'm at it, two great LTs come to mind right now and they are Jake Long and Joe Thomas. How are Miami and Cleveland doing. You dont go out of your way to get an LT high in the draft unless you have the other requisite pieces in place (QB, RB, WRs).
  7. TI am so sick and tired of reading ignorant posts from ignorant "fans" on this board!! There are far too many people here who make it seem like they know what is the best way to put together a winning team. How many times does Buddy have to say that he likes Hairston at LT? Reiff is an RT at best, and may not even end up being that for the Lions in a few years. Hell the Lions only took him because he dropped to 23. And he dropped for a reason...he will never be even adequate at LT in the NFL. Secondly, Buddy wants high character, good football players. Floyd has off field issues, which shows that football does not mean enough to him. If it did, he would concentrate on football and get his act together. Now on to Gilmore. CB was clearly a need for this team for the aforementioned reasons. Did anyone hear Gilmore's interview with the Buffalo media? He said something to the effect of "football is my life". This guy eats, sleeps and breathes football. He's fast, big, physical, athletic, and agile. Great pick by Buddy, who like previous posters said, telegraphed the Gilmore pick. Buddy is clearly fixing one side of the ball. I am sure that even before hiring Wanny at DC, he agreed with Chan tht the defense was the weakest unit on the team, and therefore the unit that needed to be addressed. Thus far, he has succeeded immensely in doing just that. Buddy has enough faith in his offense (with a receiver added in rounds 2 or 3) that he doesnt feel the need to upgrade yet. So trust him. He has done the defense wonders, and will do the same with the offense if/when he sees fit. He knows what he is doing, or at least knows what he is doing a hell of a lot more than the naysayers posting on TSW.
  8. I love this ^^^ nothing like some good cynicism around here. Are the Bills employing former members of the Monkees now?
  9. Correction: Aside from English writing lessons, I like Hill as a project, but definitelyNOT with the 10 pick. Seriously, unless your grammar, spelling, syntax and composition skills are perfect, do not correct the errors of other people.
  10. Right because they wouldn't be practicing or anything.
  11. I will eat babies if this happens. Though I would accept Jenkins in the 2nd if you're referring to Janoris Jenkins and not former Bill Justin Jenkins.
  12. Castonzo started for the Colts...I think more than 10 games too. IMO, you CAN find a serviceable/good/Pro Bowl LT anywhere, including as an UDFA, so we should go Floyd or Kuechly. But, I don't think they will go either, and I think it will end up being Kirkpatrick/Gilmore, Glenn, Tannehill or Ingram/Cox/other BPA. My apologies to the OP...it wasn't you who made this statement about no rookie starting at LT, it was ^^^. Anyway, like I said, Castonzo from BC started like 12 games at LT for the Colts.
  13. Sorry if anyone already answered...but you're thinking of Scott Mitchell I believe.
  14. I think it's going to be trading down to get Glenn or Kirkpatrick. I would argue approximately 90% of the draft picks from the Chan/Buddy era have been players from the South.....and I would argue that 100% of the players from rounds 1-3 have been from the South: 2010: Spiller (Clemson) Troup (UCF) Carrington (Arkansas St.)...2011: Dareus (Alabama) A. Williams (Texas) Sheppard (LSU) Point is, Buddy and Chan like guys in the early rounds from the South....that's why I don't think Reiff, Martin, Floyd, or any other Northern/Midwestern/Western players are in play. Now it could be a coincidence, and if the Bills had the number 1 pick, there's no way they wouldn't take Andrew Luck, but I think barring very special circumstances such as an Andrew Luck, Buddy and Chan will be selecting a Southern player.
  15. Dude you're on every single thread talking about Alshon Jeffrey. There are at least ten guys I would rather have at #41 than him. And two of them are receivers. Now to weigh in on taking Reiff at #10...NO. You can get a serviceable to above-average tackle anywhere in the draft or free agency. Hell, look at Bell/Peters. I'm not worried about tackle right now, especially since Chan can seemingly make any line look halfway decent. Get Michael Floyd and let him work his magic.
  16. It would be either 3 in 6 drafts or 4 in 10 drafts. McGahee, Lynch, Spiller, and the ridiculously hypothetical Richardson selection.
  17. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyrann_Mathieu Keep eating those crayons.
  18. The honey badger is Tyrann Mathieu. lol how is YOUR reading comprehension?
  19. Really though, Jim Harbaugh did something that so many others could not, made Alex Smith a winning QB. So who's to say he couldn't do the same with Gabbert. Honestly, Gabbert doesn't have much of anything besides MJD to work with, and really only played one season, so I think the jury is still out there.
  20. Maybe this is just me, but personally I would love it if the Bills traded down to get 2 late first round picks...ok I know they would never do it, but for example New England's two late first round (27, 31) picks. The points work out and New England has needs for a dominating defensive player, either at CB or somewhere along the DL. They could grab Poe or Ingram or anyone there. Now the Bills could get two very good quality players at positions of need... You can maybe grab Donta Hightower and Stephen Hill (personally I love this guy's height and speed and Chan connections and on and on). Anyway I wouldn't mind staying put and grabbing Ingram at 10 but I think we can do better to move down, not that New England would. But at #10 I would take Ingram or Floyd, maybe even Kuechly.
  21. But the real question is...Does he have character issues? Is he a drug user/dealer, DWI waiting to happen, etc? That's the only way Matthew's Bag likes a player. God knows he doesn't like any positive role models for our kids.
  22. Man this guy clearly has it out for Tebow. Such a shame, the poor kid gets killed by people and he's such a good kid. If only he ran over Canadian women on Chippewa or shot himself in the leg, we'd actually be able to look up to him. Get a grip Matthew's Bag.
